My little brothers 13 and we bring him to play airsoft with us. My little brother is into swords and knights so he doesn’t really care about gear or equipment he’s just there to have fun. Though I do know he likes wood furniture AK’s. The gun he’s currently using is an elite force AK 74U that my dad grabbed from Academy for like 90 bucks and it worked for a while but the front sight broke and the HopUp keeps on moving when you shoot it for long periods plus It has practically no range. Me and my dad are considering getting this Lancer for his birthday when summer rolls around and I think this will work pretty well for him. On our Most recent airsoft trip we stopped by an Airsoft store before going home and it was a wood furniture AK that caught his eye though we couldn’t get it as it was $300 but we did get me a $100 gas blowback Beretta because it was my birthday.
@ hey I recently bought a Classic Army Xm177e2 and the only mags I have are lancer tactical mags both mid and high caps. They just don’t feed. But when I used some plastic mid caps I bought of Evike they worked fine
Idk i still think this a platform you can build off. Installing Dovetail Mounting points probably wouldn't be too hard. Hell, you could easily get an Aftermarket dust cover with a Picatinny rail to fit. 74 mags shouldn't fit in a 47 anyway at least as far as im aware. overall id say its worth the $150

from my experience I would highly recommend this gun as it's a great beginner gun.
I’ve seen reviews that say it doesn’t feed well is that true
i never had any feeding issues, that could depend on mags they use.

@@Lagatortooth I bought an lct ak mag off of amazon and it worked with my lancer ak perfectly. You could try that

Aps also gets too much hate.
With their new models, APS has leveled up
Was this the “starter kit” option, or stand alone?
@@Lavoie-i8i I’m not exactly sure what you mean but this was my beginner gun. I’ve sold it since tho and got something much better
How heavy is it?
@@bluze4822 little over 7 pounds
