I love this!! I do worship dancing and I find it interesting that we use the same colors as on the stones of the breastplate. Every color represents another aspect of God. He is so good!! Everything in the OT points to Jesus.

The Sabbath is a SIGN between the nation of Israel and the Lord. Exodus 31:13-17. The sabbath has nothing to do with new testament Christianity! Bible Christians meet on the first day of the week...Acts 20:7 and I Corinthians 16:1-2 Error#3. Not rightly dividing the scriptures. II Timothy 2:15 The command is to study AND rightly divide the word. A simple example would be the difference between the Old and New Testament. We don’t sacrifice animals or stone people to death as the law of Moses. Why not? Jesus fulfilled the law by his death,burial and resurrection from the dead! Colossians 2:14-17 we are NOT under the law any longer. This was established early in church history...Acts 15 Salvation is by grace through faith without the works of the law! Works ARE important AFTER you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ which requires FAITH in the finished work of Christ on the cross! You cannot WORK your way into salvation or into the body of Christ! Salvation is a free gift. See Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, Romans3:28! You can’t add to the finished work of Calvary period!!! That is the beauty of Christianity, and what separates it from ALL other religions, salvation is DONE! You just have to believe in the finished work of Christ. The tribe of Levi was the only tribe to come forward when Moses asked who is on the side of the Lord during a rebellion. That is why they were chosen to be the priests. And if Christ is the great high Priest than there must be a sanctuary in heaven were He is ministry on behalf of humans. Excellent video.

See as a baptist preacher I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH how a JEWISH background enriches any notion of CHRIST JESUS! I gave a Sunday school lesson on Luke 2 and I spoke about Luke using Simeon and Anna in the story as witness to who Christ was and they looked at me like so. Well the point is Deut 19:15 is the background material Luke had in mind. Keep in mind this ocurred in the TEMPLE the ones who had the most issue with who Christ was, or who he claimed to be to them, was the religious leaders based in THE TEMPLE! WE must get back to all of scripture Hebrew Bible and New Testament. Btw, the New Testament writers were well aware of the Jewish context they were writing in. I was even shocked how much Revelation is drawn from the "Old Testament" to bastardized Christ from his Jewish background and context is DANGEROUS!
+El Light Yup, I agree. Without the Jewish background you just can't fully understand the words of Christ. Yes, you can get part of it, but the gospel writers assumed you already knew certain things, so they did not explain it. We will best understand the scriptures if we know that same background.
We must fully understand the old covenant in order to fully know what was Yahusha did for us in new covenant. He plainly told that He came for the lost 10 tribes of Israel which been dispersed into the world during Assyrian captive. And Judeans came back to Israel from Babylonian captivity and formed Judaism, fearing they will break Yah's commandmend again thus resulting in slavery again. They added more regulations on top Yah's commandments such as do's and dont's. You can check in The Zondorvian Bible what has been added by these Jews. Example washing hands according to custom of Jews before eat. (Matt 12). You cannot spit on the soil on Sabbath for it will disturb the soil which will counted as digging (working). There is no such commandment from God and thais was added and they rebuked by Yahusha. Yahusha came to give us clear intrepretation of Law and nullify ADDED regulation which made God's commandment burdensome. Sabbath is a day of rest which reminds Israelites of their deliverance from Egypt and its NOT sin to deliver people from bondage, sickness, evil spirit on the day of deliverance. But Jews failed to see that. Yahusha never break law by heal people on Sabbath. He remind them about the covenant and how great and blessing His commandment is. Now we under new covenant, the same law written in our heart (Jer 31:31-33) and given Holy Spirit to help us obey law better. (Eze 36:26-27). Israel tries to obtain righteousness thru law (Deu 6:25) but failed because of their hardheartedness. But Yahusha is end (goal) of the law for righteouness. Thru Him both Israelite and gentiles can achieve that righteousness. And gentiles are part of lost tribe for we gentiles being wild olive tree are grafted into Israel. (Rom 11:16-24).
Just remember after Jesus, it is Faith based Salvation only. However, the more faith you have the greater your works. Even the Apostle Paul counted all his works as "dung" which means poo in contrast to The Holiness of God who is Jesus Christ. Satan is a deceiver but you need a basis of truth to turn it into a lie. Catholics believe in works+faith. Be very careful. Not every faith is the right faith. The Holy Bible (KJV ) is ALL you need. No repetitive prayers, no priest (in these days) except Jesus. Jesus is the Mediator and God. It is not the priest. 1 Timothy (quote me if I'm wrong) explains the description of a elder of a church! This is in the New Testament. Jesus had to die and is resurrected for a "Testament" which is The New Testament. Catholics have it so mixed up...all I can do is keep studying and preaching but ultimately it will lead Catholics and other false religions and followers of false doctrine as well as unbelievers straight to The Eternal Lake of Fire which is the greatest torments of Hell. Be very careful and let The Holy Spirit guide you and pray for honesty clarity and truth. Let NO man decieve you. Don't trust any man any woman and most importantly do not trust yourself. Trust The word which is The Holy Bible and King James Version for all English speakers as many other versions are watered down and less pure. Don't take my word for it. Additionally, the pomegranates at the hem of the garment would likely crack open as the high priest walked and the bright red, staining juice would drip and sprinkle about creating a very visual symbol of the atonement--great drops of blood as Christ shed in Gethsemane. Pomegranates are highly symbolic here and something those in the Middle East could relate to. Incidentally, pomegranates are very old trees, practically pest-free, the fruit has incredible healing powers and stains the hands when eaten. This is a very symbolically-rich item in the priest's costume.

Jesus is our High Priest and He is ministering for us in the Heavenly Sanctuary according to the prophecy of Daniel 8 and 9 since 1844 .

II Timothy 2:15 The command is to study AND rightly divide the word. A simple example would be the difference between the Old and New Testament. We don’t sacrifice animals or stone people to death as the law of Moses. Why not? Jesus fulfilled the law by his death,burial and resurrection from the dead! Colossians 2:14-17 we are NOT under the law any longer. This was established early in church history...Acts 15 Salvation is by grace through faith without the works of the law! Works ARE important AFTER you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ which requires FAITH in the finished work of Christ on the cross! You cannot WORK your way into salvation or into the body of Christ! Salvation is a free gift. See Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, Romans3:28! You can’t add to the finished work of Calvary period!!! That is the beauty of Christianity, and what separates it from ALL other religions, salvation is DONE! You just have to believe in the finished work of Christ. After you are saved you work for the Lord in appreciation for what he has DONE for you. You become an ambassador for Christ and given the ministry of reconciliation! II Cor.5:17-21

The tribe of Levi was the only tribe to come forward when Moses asked who is on the side of the Lord during a rebellion. That is why they were chosen to be the priests. And if Christ is the great high Priest than there must be a sanctuary in heaven were He is ministry on behalf of humans. Excellent video.

See as a baptist preacher I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH how a JEWISH background enriches any notion of CHRIST JESUS! I gave a Sunday school lesson on Luke 2 and I spoke about Luke using Simeon and Anna in the story as witness to who Christ was and they looked at me like so. Well the point is Deut 19:15 is the background material Luke had in mind. Keep in mind this ocurred in the TEMPLE the ones who had the most issue with who Christ was, or who he claimed to be to them, was the religious leaders based in THE TEMPLE! WE must get back to all of scripture Hebrew Bible and New Testament. Btw, the New Testament writers were well aware of the Jewish context they were writing in. I was even shocked how much Revelation is drawn from the "Old Testament" to bastardized Christ from his Jewish background and context is DANGEROUS!
+El Light Yup, I agree. Without the Jewish background you just can't fully understand the words of Christ. Yes, you can get part of it, but the gospel writers assumed you already knew certain things, so they did not explain it. We will best understand the scriptures if we know that same background.
We must fully understand the old covenant in order to fully know what was Yahusha did for us in new covenant. He plainly told that He came for the lost 10 tribes of Israel which been dispersed into the world during Assyrian captive. And Judeans came back to Israel from Babylonian captivity and formed Judaism, fearing they will break Yah's commandmend again thus resulting in slavery again. They added more regulations on top Yah's commandments such as do's and dont's. You can check in The Zondorvian Bible what has been added by these Jews. Example washing hands according to custom of Jews before eat. (Matt 12). You cannot spit on the soil on Sabbath for it will disturb the soil which will counted as digging (working). There is no such commandment from God and thais was added and they rebuked by Yahusha. Yahusha came to give us clear intrepretation of Law and nullify ADDED regulation which made God's commandment burdensome. Sabbath is a day of rest which reminds Israelites of their deliverance from Egypt and its NOT sin to deliver people from bondage, sickness, evil spirit on the day of deliverance. But Jews failed to see that. Yahusha never break law by heal people on Sabbath. He remind them about the covenant and how great and blessing His commandment is.
Now we under new covenant, the same law written in our heart (Jer 31:31-33) and given Holy Spirit to help us obey law better. (Eze 36:26-27).
Israel tries to obtain righteousness thru law (Deu 6:25) but failed because of their hardheartedness. But Yahusha is end (goal) of the law for righteouness. Thru Him both Israelite and gentiles can achieve that righteousness. And gentiles are part of lost tribe for we gentiles being wild olive tree are grafted into Israel. (Rom 11:16-24).

However, the more faith you have the greater your works. Even the Apostle Paul counted all his works as "dung" which means poo in contrast to The Holiness of God who is Jesus Christ.

Be very careful. Not every faith is the right faith. The Holy Bible (KJV ) is ALL you need. No repetitive prayers, no priest (in these days) except Jesus. Jesus is the Mediator and God. It is not the priest. 1 Timothy (quote me if I'm wrong) explains the description of a elder of a church! This is in the New Testament. Jesus had to die and is resurrected for a "Testament" which is The New Testament.
Catholics have it so mixed up...all I can do is keep studying and preaching but ultimately it will lead Catholics and other false religions and followers of false doctrine as well as unbelievers straight to The Eternal Lake of Fire which is the greatest torments of Hell.
Be very careful and let The Holy Spirit guide you and pray for honesty clarity and truth. Let NO man decieve you. Don't trust any man any woman and most importantly do not trust yourself. Trust The word which is The Holy Bible and King James Version for all English speakers as many other versions are watered down and less pure. Don't take my word for it. Do your research every single day.

Additionally, the pomegranates at the hem of the garment would likely crack open as the high priest walked and the bright red, staining juice would drip and sprinkle about creating a very visual symbol of the atonement--great drops of blood as Christ shed in Gethsemane. Pomegranates are highly symbolic here and something those in the Middle East could relate to. Incidentally, pomegranates are very old trees, practically pest-free, the fruit has incredible healing powers and stains the hands when eaten. This is a very symbolically-rich item in the priest's costume.

As a master handspinner, the thread twisting is inaccurate. They used already plied wool but the singles would have been plied together not so highly twisted as by machine. Call me, next time you need to replicate historical spinning.
