A yes, I remember in my kingdom, a bard would play this tune and a jester of the name Sir Thomas Holland would dance, thus entertaining the entire tavern, making even the strongest knights smile.
I think this is most definitely one of the best medieval version i've heard. Most are very... modern, with sounds that make no sense for the medieval era, but this actually does sound like it could be something played. And i love the fact that the instrumental also doesn't try to mimic the lyrics all the time. There's just a real harmony!
I wish the musician could list the medieval instruments that would produce this music. It looks like he or she does it digitally, but it would be great to imagine the instruments - the real instruments - producing these pieces... this is Umbrella song is my second favorite, after Hips don´t lie... wow...
Thanks! Most of the instruments are from ERA Medieval Legends II... including all the various flutes, harps, lutes, percussion and crumhorns... I did also use some instruments from EWQL RA - which also has quite a few 'medieval/ethnic' kind of instruments there.
@@Ayy_Doll_Fiddler The fun thing about music is that, technically, you can write it in any time signature you want :) If I were to transcribe this, my first instinct would be to do it in 3/4.
Thy creativity hath no match. I applaudeth thee and beseech thee to dispatch thy madrigals to the minstrels who doth originate these tunes for their merriment.
Listening to this, I wanna be running through a field with the sun shining down on my whimsically curly hair in my long billowy dress. (note: am not near a field, my hair is far from whimsical and I don’t own said dress but hey ho)
The entire harmony is so relaxing and diaphanous that when I close my eyes, I can imagine medieval Europe from a high-grossing romantic film that captivated the hearts of millions.
Very useful as a wind-down before bed... The original melody has a very healing emotional vibe, and this change to 3/4 rhythm enhances that, and leaves you feeling swept away in such a soothing way...
i can imagine a medieval romance show about a nobleman and one of his knights, and their forbidden romance, with secondary characters like the princess whom the nobleman is betrothed to, and a helpful other night who acts as matchmaker. the theme sequence has a clip of them dancing in the rain, without their armor, soaked and smiling, before cutting to the background as above a saddened and vengeful princess looks on from her tower window. (in season two she falls in love with a witch and runs off with her.)
Me: **listened to your BP's Lovesick Girls and decided to listen your other videos and also some of the videos of your featured channels, and found/realized myself enjoying this kind of music**
Its like a whole new song 💕 I imagine this instrumental like it tells you about a journey of two lovers who never stopped fighting for their love and really get to be with each other till the end
it feels like the specific type of love song for a love you thought almost lost, and good fortune blessed it to succeed by its unmarred purity like the princess bride i guess 💘
All of these videos just make me fantasize about going back in time and play covers like this and blow people’s minds. Idk if they’d like it.. but it’ll blow their minds.
I discovered this channel like 30min ago and I am already subscribed. This is the best I've ever hear, you literally saved my nights before tests. I can find a quiet and peaceful place inside this music

I think this is probably one of the most unique bardcore covers, it's basically its own song.
Roselany Varela agreed😤🤝
Agreed...goosebumps all over!
Stantough also came out with Bye Bye Bye a couple days ago and I also thought that one was excellent.
And it sounds absolutely beautiful! I mean Rihanna did a great job with the original, but this one could be a hit on its own
I really could imagine ago hundreds of years people danced to this at marriages ^^
Thanks... I did try to imagine it to be that when I made this... a 3/4 wedding dance!

'Tis my knowledge he dressed as a maid. Scandalous!!

Pretty sure Jaskier was pissed that he didn't get to play for Geralt.

Contessa Rianna della Fenti when she brought the first umbrella to medieval Italy.
These medieval covers are giving me life.

I'm not well-versed in music theory, but the key signature is 6/8, right?

This was playing when Romeo and that capulet girl were getting busy on the dance floor
😊
I wonder if actual medieval folks would enjoy these bardcore remixes. I know I do.
That's why we need to invent time traveling.
that has me wondering as well.
They would surely enjoy these bardcore remixes, there weren't much entertainment back then, anything new to them would consider enjoyable.

Verily, they only had tentes in medieval times, good sir/ good lady.
But in China umbrellas were invented long before the European middle ages
This version really brings out the nostalgia and romantic melody in that song.
The entire harmony is so relaxing and diaphanous that when I close my eyes, I can imagine medieval Europe from a high-grossing romantic film that captivated the hearts of millions.
This is what plays in the background when people fall in love near the pond in the woods.
