I couldn't understand what you have done from 4 to 9 mins in the video. could you please explain me what it is. Also please tell whether anyone can do this. Since i'm not from electrical background i wonder whether i can do the same thing to fix the issue in my tab (yoga 8. its not turning on. service person said its motherboard issue. but i want to give a try. please advice)

Its very simple but looks complicated, i have replacing charging port with a new one from 5 to 9 min , you can skip this by buying the whole charging port flex cable and replace it . I didn't do that because this piece not available in my country.
MST could you please tell me how to search for the charging cable port in google. Which brand is good and how to choose the right one . Please advise. Thanks

Battery is damaged need to be replaced. or charging port is dirty making circut otherwise need to be replaced. You can clean with alcohol first .

I didn't understand exactly your point, and i don't know the problem with your device, so replace new charging port may or not fix the problem.
Sir, what do you think the problem of my yoga 8? It suddenly shut down.. and when we turned on it stuck in logo..doing the same thing, then later on it is not turning anymore.
Maybe software issue, look for internet for how to make new software for yoga 8 .
However it is a long dead and not turning anymore.

Hi i have a promblem like months ago we kept a new charging port and it worked so it kept in cupboard like months and when i took out the tab i charged its nlt charging and solution
Maybe the battery capacity is too empty, so try 2A Charger

I need you first to try another charger, second look at the charging port is look okay, if not i need from you to clean it with alcohol this may work, if none of this works then you should go repair shop.

Hi my tablet is not charging and it's model is yoga Tablet 2-830F
Did you recalibrate battery after this ? and how ? My Yoga is OK its charging but battery level is 100% after 30 seconds.......54%.....23%....67%.....1%......and keep it like 2 hours........after restart ~80%.......and fall down to 1% ... but keep 8h stilll. very random....I changed batteires but do not know how to calibrate. I root it, use battery calbration app.....still nothing....Can you help me if you know how to managed with this issue. Thx,

@@ishitakumar532 Experiencing the same problem i can say it to do with the battery as i have the lenovo yoga tab 3 8 yt3-850m.
To recalibrate the battery you do the method of flatten fully then recharge fully then dont charge it during the usage of the tablet let it go to 10% then full charge it fully.
@@neddy1287 its hard to be sure when is 10% if this value is changing in a blink of an eye. Now you can have 60%, after 10 sec its going to 30% after next 2 mins it says you need to recharg. With recharge messeage you can use tablet 4 days because it shows wrong. In real you can have still 80%.Well something is telliing me that this kind of behave this company did in purpouse. Lets name it the cycle life of product. Its not fair to force device to be dead if it can still work. I have no hope for cure. BTW I have new battery pack inside.
@@robertorayo I replaced the battery and all is good on my end. As I did abit of digging to see what was the cause of sudden full charge issue turns out the the battery charging PCB have a fault with one of the ic chip both battery cells are in working order

Yes, I test the volume buttons and those work fine, the problem is when I plug the cable, it is not charging

@@mstphone then you probably should give a written description on top, and explain what you do by speaking (because often there are gaps or things you do cannot be seen). and you could present everything in less than 5 minutes if you followed a prepared script for yourself. like this -despite your effort- it is /not/ helpful in a responsible way i am afraid :(
You are right my friend , but in my shop where i record there is alot of nosie , so i can't speak with that noise , second english isn't my first language, so it's also difficult for me to speak on the video. I hope i near future i will do that.
