I love Hubman & Chubgirl! I bought their advent calendar last year!!! Love the washi stickers and the mini planner kit. In case you missed it I did a pen swatch test in my Jibun Days in the fall video.
I never figured you for a Hubman & Chubgirl fan (idk why, I just didn’t, lol.) Their stuff is cute and the quality looks very nice. I like that some of the sticker sheets have the whole page printed with a design so you could use a hole punch or cut out pieces of the “leftovers” to use as dots or stars or whatever. I always liked their Lemonade design one and the Bumble Bee one, cause chubby yellow bumble bees are just so cute (and yellow is a favorite color.) It’s a little pricey for shipping to the states unless you get a lot of stuff, so I’ve never dove in that (or the Coffee Monsterz Co) pond. Also, it sort of depends on my mood/time of year if I want ‘cute’ and bright colored…I’m in a ‘vintage’ and mellow but interesting colors (rich burgundy, deep amber…that kind of thing) probably because it’s fall…but I’ve also just really liked some designs that look like 1950s/1960s drawings that appeal right now, like the Midori and Marks Maste Scandinavian patterns. But, it’s always nice to have a variety, cause moods change! I think for those of us not in Canada, they also have digital downloads (maybe?) I do really like how the ink just popped off of the page on their journal! That is very nice paper, and it has a touch of cream making it not so hard on the eyes, but also not giving an overall ‘yellow’ experience to any design. (I love the dust bag, too!!!) Curious if the glitter coating came off on your fingers or the paper at all? I’m always excited for SHINY! but I hate glitter dust, lol. Very nice kit and the ducks are so cute. I love duckies. How clever (and retro!) for the “Paper Doll Ducks” where you can decorate the ducks with the different clothes and hats…I loved paper dolls as a kid and you really don’t see them anymore. They were so fun!!! Someone bring back the paper dolls!
That's too funny haha! Yes, I have been a fan of theirs (and Coffee Monsterz Co) for a while 😇 Just like you, it totally depends on the mood I'm in, but my love for ducks is year-round 😆 YES! Midori and Marks Maste Scandinavian patterns + neutral/pastel colours is stunning 😍 That reminds me, I think you may have asked about the autumn Tombow colours from one of my other videos (if that wasn't you, oopsie) they are 837, 027, and N52! The journal paper far exceeded my expectations; like, better than Leuchtturm exceeded 😮 The glitter coating does not come off of the washi, it's actually like it's integrated into the washi tape itself instead of being an addition ☺
@@lillabjornstationery I think I did ask about the Tombow colors, lol, thank you!! That was very nice paper and it made the inks of all the pens look so rich and have such depth! Also, nearly no ghosting (and Leuchtturm is terrible with the ghosting…and if it were smooth and enjoyable to write on like Midori or TRP or other thinner papers, I wouldn’t mind the ghosting…but I’m not a fan of the feel of the pen to the paper. I’m curious what paper they use for their journals? That’s amazing that they can embed the glitter into it so it’s not sprinkling glitter everywhere…I imagine that is not cheap to do! I’ve heard a lot of people talk about the interesting texture and feel of their washis that are thick like that. I hadn’t seen their washi stickers before, and I really like them a LOT! The more subtle color and the matte texture is really appealing. (I do not need more stickers. I do not need more stickers. I do not need more stickers…ohhhmmmmmm. Okay, all is good. Aww, I love ducks, too. I’m a total sucker for any kind of cute bear, especially classic (i.e., not Disney) Pooh and pigs. Pigs are just cute! That sticker set would be great for January or February when the holidays are over…and it’s grey and cold and yucky outside, and all you want is some color!!!!
They're too expensive! And they only charge in American dollars, even for Canadians (???) so with the currency conversion it's crazy expensive. Too bad.
QOTD: Which Hubman and Chubgirl product was your favourite? 🦆

I'll have to check that out! Was the planner kit you got specific for the Hobonichi? Or was it like mine? 😇
@@lillabjornstationery i don't remember what size i got when I ordered mini kits. I didn't get the bundle you got
