From what I’m understanding, the driver didn’t know he shot someone, it was the lady who ordered the Lyft ride.

That's how I understood it also. I had to watch it a few times and did not hear anything about the driver being involved. Even if the driver knew. What's the driver supposed to do? Tell the guy no after he already shot somebody?

And that is why they need to tell passengers that the person who ordered the ride needs to be in the car. No more rides for someone else. No more, "here to pick up Susan", but John with face tattoos gets in by himself and there is no way to find this person if something happens. But im the asshole driver who has to tell someone "NO" and then wait there for 7 minutes while they stare at me so i can cancel with no penalty.

Apparently you’ve never heard the Johnny Cash song “A Boy Named Sue“ 😂 I knew a boy in school whose name was Shannon, there are many other names that go both ways, such as Jesse. NTM if you refuse a ride to someone who identifies as another gender, you will get deactivated and sued for discrimination 🤦‍♂️

Torsten, good to see you my friend!! This was a horrible situation! She made a huge mistake doing that! 🤔 Lyft was wrong if they deactivated the driver, they were doing their job!!

1:07 Torsten correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the driver knew he was a wanted fugitive. It sounds like only the girl who ordered the Lyft ride knew that. So in that case I don’t think the driver deserves deactivation, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Lyft deactivates him anyway. I always pay attention to my Citizen notifications when I drive, so I’m aware of any crazy things going on in my area.
