That was a great video. I love the lakes and have walked up Scafell Pike myself. I did I’d when I was pregnant with my son who’s 34 now and I had to rest on the stones overlooking the tarn as I headed up! 😂😂 Two videos a week is a real treat and the quality is just as good as always. Can’t wait for Friday when I’m down there. My wife and I went to New Zealand in 2008, then I took her to the Lake District for her first visit in 2010, she said why did we go to the other side of the world, THIS NARNIA !! Well done climbing the pike 👍
because in NZ everyone is chilled and behaves as equals In the Lake Distict however, there are often unbearable crowds, rich entitled Jepp driving twats and overpriced, touristy everything. On paper, Lake District is beautiful, but we travel half the world to avoid the shitey pretentiousness England has.

I did Snowdonia mountain a good few years bk after going through such a hard time with depression and really thought I couldn't do it, however with every ounce of strength in me I did it and felt so good... We live 45 minutes from the lake district and climbed scarfell a few times. The weather as you go up is always windy and you need to be careful but it's amazing!
So nice to see an extra video! If you ever get to Keswick, There is a great totally vegan cafe called Kats Kitchen! It’s so good with vegan breakfasts, cakes and Sunday roast dinners x Enjoy the lakes
It has to be said, an incredible first mid week Video. Well done on motivating yourselves to do the climb. My wife and I have stayed in Silloth camping a few years ago. The whole area is beautiful. Us brits truly dont realise how lucky we are to be close to such natural beauty.

My suggestion on length of vid is that a 15 minute vid mid week and 30 minute vid Sunday sounds good and is still a lot of work to produce. Beautiful photography. Another informative and interesting adventure with the Days & Morgan, this time in the astoundingly picturesque Lake District. To complete the three pikes challenge by climbing Scarfell Pike is impressive especially for Janine. It was a long challenging winter in a badly heated Van that caused Janine to suffer a very long bronchial problem, it’s fantastic to see her health improving to the point that she is conquering more mountains. That’s hugely inspirational. Well done Janine, for all your efforts. Liam has to be one of the kindest persons in Vanlife, his love of his wife is a joy to behold. Finally Morgan… what a champ, last week off-roading it, this week achieving the challenge of narrow country lanes while providing a gorgeous little home for the days and not standing out too much in the landscape. We been there the roads are crazy 🤪 love the stone walls . We came across on garage that had pumps from the 1970s How mad is that , I took photo too .The lakes are beautiful and a great hike as well .

Taking a big van round the Lakes is not something we would recommend to most motorhomers. It may be picturesque but accessibility can be very restricted, especially if you meet a tourist bus coming the other way. And how many van drivers actually know how to reverse their vehicles safely. My other half was born in this area and we have seen numerous incidents involving big vans. Drive carefully and keep you footsteps clean.

Loved that 💚 I went to the Lake District for the first time last year and found it beautiful but very busy, probably because it was so soon after lockdown. Solway is now on my list of places to visit as well as Dark Skies National Park. You both work so hard to make these videos, and the footage of the lakes had me feeling quite emotional. They are very strict about overnighting but then it is such a busy place in the height of summer, they need to be strict. Hi! We live on the Solway coast and you showed why we moved here. We avoid the Lake District in summer as it is like an ant's nest with so many visitors. There are so many places to wild camp on the coast and we do it a lot in our classic old camper, even though we live here. You can stop overnight in Silloth, we did that one time and then chatted with 4 policemen/women who were on their meal break. No hassle at all. We like overnights at Maryport too, and Allonby but the latter has just sold the public toilet so you need to take your own! I will watch your other videos now to see where you went next. We been there the roads are crazy 🤪 love the stone walls . We came across on garage that had pumps from the 1970s How mad is that , I took photo too .The lakes are beautiful and a great hike as well .

Taking a big van round the Lakes is not something we would recommend to most motorhomers. It may be picturesque but accessibility can be very restricted, especially if you meet a tourist bus coming the other way. And how many van drivers actually know how to reverse their vehicles safely. My other half was born in this area and we have seen numerous incidents involving big vans. Drive carefully and keep you footsteps clean.
Yeah it can be quite tiresome, but it's definitely doable too

Loved that 💚 I went to the Lake District for the first time last year and found it beautiful but very busy, probably because it was so soon after lockdown. Solway is now on my list of places to visit as well as Dark Skies National Park. You both work so hard to make these videos, and the footage of the lakes had me feeling quite emotional. How lucky are we to live in this amazing country. Thanks for sharing your adventures 🐦🦋🐝

They are very strict about overnighting but then it is such a busy place in the height of summer, they need to be strict. So glad you managed to find a place to overnight and a tenner is not too costly. 😊

Hi! We live on the Solway coast and you showed why we moved here. We avoid the Lake District in summer as it is like an ant's nest with so many visitors. There are so many places to wild camp on the coast and we do it a lot in our classic old camper, even though we live here. You can stop overnight in Silloth, we did that one time and then chatted with 4 policemen/women who were on their meal break. No hassle at all. We like overnights at Maryport too, and Allonby but the latter has just sold the public toilet so you need to take your own! I will watch your other videos now to see where you went next.
