I think it is same as normal hostel...as in our time we had only normal hostel & apartment type....as there are only two types here... mostly non apartment will be like normal hostel.
In apartment u get common washroom for 4 to 5 rooms....in normal common washroom for whole floor....in apartment it's like in 1 apartment 3 to 4 hours and washroom.....in girls block apartment...they have separate washroom for each room

It has normal non AC hostel too...
If the block is old then it has bunker bed or if u get new blocks then there will be no bunker bed
