This man obj, is a true lover of Nigeria. I remember how he wanted local govts autonomy. During his time, there were activities at the local govt levels, because he insisted local govt allocations are to their accounts instead of the state govt account. All the governors at that time fought him to the end of his tenure. You can find almost every tribes, people from different regions proportionally represented and have a stake in his government. He's a detribalized person to be honest. He may have his flaws, but this man truly love this country because he believes in equity and fairness. May God continue to give him more wisdom and good health.

Daddy Obasanjo, I love you. You are one of the detribalized Nigerian leaders Nigeria have. Though many will not like to hear you speak the truth. But the truth is always bitter but better to be said. May the Good Lord continue to keep you hearty and healthy for us.

As long as Nigerian leaders fail to provide good leadership that will lift people from poverty we will continue to sing the song of healing and reconciliation that will only last as long as the speaker finish talking. We have been singing this song since independence without any impact.

There are rumours that this same OBJ who clamored for a third term in office, took some of the money he earmarked for Nigerian farmers to start his own farm. So, perhaps he can prove his seriousness about making Nigeria great by returning what he borrowed, and maybe some of those who followed his example will do the same.

Hopefully, what Nigerians both from homeland and dispora have been praying for have finally taking heed from the national trust treasury, to revamp decayed corruption practices, and spend towards rebuilding the country having faced decades of challenges with governance, on administrating the impetus faced by the nation, from birthright to the national traditional rulers. This is reforms based on colonial mandates to strengthen cooperation with the future of Nigerians in safeguarding their sovereignty and right on equal balance of values, diversity and freedom of expression. Democracy was never given a fair chance to freely rewrite the wrongs of post independence of colonial administration in Nigeria. Notwithstanding, the constitution was not written to abuse Nigerians, and Rob them of their God given right to respectable life, and worthy guardian. Nigeria had huge flaws, with misgiving of trusted individuals in power of who acted by their own rules, by circumventing the constitution of Nigeria, as a foreign mandate they couldn't accommodate on the territory, inherited by their forefathers, given to them by the gods they served,POST-MILLENNIUM. Former president of Nigeria, father of the nation Olusegun Obasanjo is formidable seen he came to power through the corridor of military alliance shared with the educated few after independence in 1960. The country experienced growth, patriotism, and willingness of Nigerians to unite in the spirit of one nation, one God, and one people. Overtime, disparaging opinions for grab of administrative power posed an issue of discontentment, and struggle to grapple with plot to secession, and state actors reemerges to fight for independence from the old system, with the outcome of Biafran country. This was a test Innocent Nigerians were put through, without military defence to protect the disenfranchised people of the igboland, having been caught by surprise. The old 60s fiasco are documented on movie shorts of events on TH-cam for further interest, as the true history aftermath independence was never properly reviewed for historical and social studies for academic purposes. It has taken so long for justice to prevail, with millions of Nigerians killed at the merciless decree of avengers of the nation. Lots of issues have to be tackled in the light of the indefinite honourable member of senate House, general Olusegun Obasanjo. First of all, Nigerians will power should not be compromised oversight of the kingdom kings as depicted in the Bible of three kings bringing gifts to their forbearers. The 21st century has finally come to fruition, with advanced knowledge in technology, social sciences, ART, which is vast in the African continent as a whole. Proactive lifestyle of diversity and cultural heritage. Nigeria alone can't stand in the African continent, without embracing the whole of Africa, for both peaceful coexistence, and cultural exchange for better education, skill sharing, food diet that empowers us as a great nation. Our ability to heal, is second to none either by natural holistic means or gifted by God in our own right, as never been questioned. Our spirituality is another social norms that engages our wellbeing in sharing our within our community. Nigerians don't fear anyone, anymore that dictates to them, even by death. The line as to be drawn that those who think they control power, relentlessly should be aware that other innocent people are paying for their mistake in society, because you can't fight, people with rights to better lives, with annoyance. Respect is the KEY, and if our leaders don't recognise that, they must have failed before the began their personal journey in life.

You have good 8 years in government to turn the Nigerian fortune around but you fail to do that. You organised two elections in 2003 and 2007 which happened to be most faulty elections in the history of Nigeria. Elections where oppositions has no chance of winning. To you election is not about people voting but about selection who you think should be in office.

The Nations that are forced together to formed the british/foolani Nigeria are groaning to let go in freedom as quickly as possible and you are preaching healing as if we are ordained of God to be togerther with all our differences & diversities which you so leaders have been trying to fixed for *63yrs. of the so called independence? Nigerians already know that, they are better off going their seperate ways than pretending to be going in the same direction with very different mind sets, visionlessly. Enough is Enough sir.

I hope "Josephine" is not your real name. Do not let stupid tribal sentiments make you support evil and play into the hands of those who want to make you a "Dhimmi". APC is worse than the Islamic Brotherhood. Below is a snapshot that shows the near-total Islamic domination of governance in Nigeria, with regard to the political leadership, the security architecture, and the electoral process.
      LEADERSHIP OF THE NATION
      1. Muslim Head of Executive (President/C-i-C) [Katsina State]
      2. Muslim Head of Legislature (Senate President) [Yobe State]
      3. Muslim Head of Judiciary (CJN) [Oyo State]
      4. Muslim Speaker / Deputy Speaker [Lagos / Plateau States]
      5. Muslim Head (Permanent Chairman), National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria - NCTRN [Sokoto State]
LEADERSHIP OF THE GOVERNING POLITICAL PARTY
      1. Muslim "President Se-Elect" [Osun State]
      2. Muslim "Vice President Se-Elect" [Borno State]
      3. Muslim National Chairman [Nasarawa State]
      4. Muslim Deputy National Chairman - North [Borno State]
      5. Muslim Vice National Chairmen - NC / NE / NW [Niger, Adamawa & Kaduna States]
      LEADERSHIP OF THE ELECTORAL SYSTEM
      1. Muslim Head, INEC (Electoral umpires) [Bauchi State]
      2. Muslim Head (Chair & DG), The Election Institute, TEI [Kebbi]
      3. Muslim Head, NUC (Employers of CROs) [Kaduna State]
      4. Muslim Head, NYSC (Source of INEC ad-hoc staff) [Yobe]*
      5. Muslim Head, Police & Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (Co-securers of electoral process) [Yobe / Nasarawa]
      LEADERSHIP OF THE ARMED FORCES
      1. Muslim Head, Army [Sokoto State]
      2. Muslim Head, Navy [Kano State]
      3. Muslim Head, Air Force [Oyo State]
      4. Muslim National Security Adviser (NSA) [Zamfara State]
      5. Muslim Head, Department of State Services (DSS) [Kano State]
      LEADERSHIP OF THE DEFENSE-RELATED AGENCIES
      1. Muslim Head, Customs [Katsina State]

The youths that are tools in the hands of their slave masters, who pay them to go and die for their own stupidity? This last elections provided opportunity for the youths to swing to actions, what did they do? Every youths devolved to tribal politics and ethnocentrism! It's a long way to go!

No doubt Obj is a colossal failure, which is why he tried to support someone who would make a difference (PO). But Thiefnubu woluld be much worse. Tribal bigots are blissfully unaware that the imposition of Tinubu is actually the lowest point for the Yoruba. A certified drug baron, grand-thief of public funds, and murderer of his opponents (both real and imagined) who threw the Christians under the bus has now crowned his kleptomaniac career by stealing another’s mandate. He stole it by maiming, manipulations, intimidation, thuggery, killing, ballot box snatching; etc. It is fools who glory in their shame. “Tinubu’s entire life can be summarized in one sentence: He used drug money to buy Lagos State; now he is trying to use Lagos State money to buy Nigeria” - Seun Osewa (Owner of Nairaland)
