- It is amazing how shallow the crappie get on Truman Lake during the heat of summer. In this video, I catch a nice limit of fish on the upper Grand arm and show you precisely the settings I used on my livescope to do so.

Whats the deal with crappie being shallow this year ?here on coosa river and G-ville in alabama fish are in shallow water 6FOW and less 3 FOW has been key for me ...good one mike 👍

How do you locate the stake beds? Is your scope preloaded with their locations?
No. I found them and set a waypoint.
Never would've thought they'd be shallow this time of year in hot water.
Would it be lack of oxygen bringing them shallow?
