- This project is so sweet! Everybody needs to build one! I have a lot of fun every time I'm taking it out! And if nitro ain't your thing, there's also a brushless version available!

Interesting project, thanks for sharing. Now just for a rider figure. I am using a TBLeague figure on my UDIRC Inkfish and that is a great bonus for scale realism.
Bro, this is incredible! You have great building skills. Last year I scratch-built an Rc stand-up jetski out of wood and fiberglass plugs. I used a steel flywheel for the gyroscopic effect to keep the ski upright with the barbie rider on it. It worked really well as the standup jetski is not stable you have to balance it. The flywheel from an RC motorcycle is what spun fast to keep it upright. i would love to 3D print one but I have never used a 3D printer before. I'm an old-school builder of wood and fiberglass.
these two are novices, havent been in any rc long enough, they could of used your help. 2 nitro 2 strokes on anything = big problems. no racing exsperience either. im out.
The nitro ski was fun just to watch. It must be an absolute riot to operate and control
It is very snappy around corners and has a lot of acceleration. You can flick it very sharply without overturning which is quite impressive to watch!

Sorry for the second comment. If you drill a hole in the pump where there is the highest velocity of flow which is right after the stator cut a small brass tube at an angle and put it in the hole drilled in front of the stator with the angled cut facing the outlet of the pump. From the brass tube put a hose into the bilge of the ski it will pump the water out of the bilge using the Vacuum Venturi Effect. There are great pictures on rc groups showing you exactly how to do it. It's what I did to mine and it kept my bilge in the ski dry at all times sucking the water out. Just Google Rc jet boat vacuum venturi effect bilge pump.
It's a good suggestion if you have a electric system, but if the Nitro engine cuts out in the middle of the lake and you have to take a paddle boat to get to it you might flood the inside of the hull because of that hole.
I'm already working on a one way valve for the back of the hull to fix just that ;)

You can build the turbine right now since it is available but the rest of the jet ski will come within the next 3-4 days. You could start ordering stuff for the pump if you want to.

Ok you have made goodness! Please tell me how you managed to get the easy start to start that engine, are you using a traxxis motor? did you over volt the Ez start. I made a Tube video after i fully modified my ez start to wrok with remote. but it didnt have the torque to actually start up a new engine!?
So initially i tried to just mount it to a .32 engine but it was lacking torque. (Could be because it was tight from not been broken in). There was quite a bit of material grinding on the gearbox to mount it, but I ended up succeeding. It made the plastic weaker tho. The I realised that the motor torque was a bit too low even with a 2s lipo, so i supplied a 3s to it, knowing that the gearbox was already used and possibly abused. It worked for a while. I used the loose glow plug trick to start it for the first few break-in tanks. Then it seated well and didnt have to loosen it.
It ended up burning one ez start motor at some point so I replaced the motor and keep going for a while. I ended up going back to pull starts just for the simplicity, saving weight, and also avoid rust. But yes, with enough tankering, enough voltage, and enough elbow grease, you will make the easy start work on big block engines.
I have spotted brushless .32 starters on Alibaba however, could be a future upgrade...

Technically its a water jet, not a turbine. Turbine is a "gas turbine".
