i don't think Case was that bad, i think the absence of Martinez caught him out a little bit, with our playstyle last season, of course his pass looks a lot worse, we basically play long more often than possession, i dont think his defensive stat is bad, if you see on fbref he's on 99% on block and clearance, and also 98% on tackle and 88% on heading, we saw him every week so we remember when he lost duel, late tackle, or slow run but he always was, just because we did a lot more defensive last season that's why he looks really bad. but ya, the main problem with him is his wage.

You people will want a perfect footballer for 50m in today's market. WTactualF?
How about get a guy in for a good price to do a good job within a good system with potential for development with good coaching?
I hope Case stays, just for one more season.
Love the idea of Ugarte and Rabiot coming. Fingers crossed
If Case won't go, we can continue to play him in defence as ETH did towards the end of the season. It seems the only area of the pitch where he could be considered for selection during an injury crisis. His days as a tough-tackling midfielder are gone now, with his lack of legs and poor passing.
no he was horrible there
i don't think Case was that bad, i think the absence of Martinez caught him out a little bit, with our playstyle last season, of course his pass looks a lot worse, we basically play long more often than possession, i dont think his defensive stat is bad, if you see on fbref he's on 99% on block and clearance, and also 98% on tackle and 88% on heading, we saw him every week so we remember when he lost duel, late tackle, or slow run but he always was, just because we did a lot more defensive last season that's why he looks really bad. but ya, the main problem with him is his wage.
I think he’d look better with a settled back 4 again
@@Elsjza- ye but can't keep him to play defence. Need real defenders. Although liked him as cb in ETH's first season, he just looked too shaky nowadays.
Make him a striker with McSauce when we need aggression against their defence. He has scored goals already.
I would buy Fofana before Rabiot
A technical Gattusso in Ugarte is what United needs in midfield
We're going to be linked with everyone and sign nobody😢
Hes always a 6 isnt he? Not sure he goes far past the halfway line
His got that bastard in him like Licha and I like that
So he's like veratti then?
South American/United curse.
this transfer seems the most unlikely to me so Im unsure why it keeps getting so much coverage, he signed for psg last season they paid 60m euros for him and they are in the champions league, am i missing something? hes had 1 season at psg...
They want to sell him. Simple as. It’s not like they care about the money that much. France just lets them cheat with their sponsors and shit.
@@danhan835Kompany?
Lekker ste 👍🏻
Mentality monsters
Why are PSG happy to let him go tho?
Ugarte is a perfect fit for Man Utd.
Better than we thought amrabat was ?
Terms agreed
Cleverer
I really really want to be optimistic about all of this but the last decade has broken me, this transfer smells of Schneiderlin - I know they’re not the same type of player necessarily
Xavi was a 6 that could dribble
Alonso, yes. Hernandez, no. Busquets was the Barcelona 6. If you're making the argument that he was the general like Pirlo was or how Kroos is, then yes I agree, but Barca didn't really play like that.
Rice Elite?
Hate to say it, but he was class last season
Kevin Owens 😂
Whos that? 😂
All talk no signing just like the Glazers 😂😂😂😂
👌🏼
Man United got a whole new club re structure and we are still bringing in x players ten hag worked with 😂😂
Anthony
Mount
De light
Absolute shambles
Not looking forward to more 3-1-6 low posession transition football next season.
How bad is his injury?
from what I read he said it's fine. but the clip I saw of it looked bad. It looked like it bent the wrong way laterally. That being said, the CB from Dortmond had a similar thing happen to him during the Champions League final and not only did he continue, he's playing in the Euros - Slotterback I think it was, so what do I know. he's young which is good for injury recovery. I guess we'll have to wait and see and hope/expect management does its due dilligence for making sure he'll be ok.
