Has anyone spent more than a week out of their bedroom? The streets ARE dirty. No matter how careful you are, if you live on the streets, or in your car (where i've lived the last year) and don't have access to a safe, private space, with a toilet, shower. The judgement thrown your way is pitiful. I look at most who drive past me or throw an extra rude glare my way as the saddest humans out (usually driving the most ex$pensive car's too!) His advice on tea and coffee with regard to dehydration is very dubious, considering coffee has well known Diuretic effects. How does tea dehydrates you but coffee pushes fluid into cells? It makes absolutely no sense. Good luck to him as he seems like a nice chap and I hope he gets back on his feet. But I think it's important to question his advice.

Dr James Smith would actually be an excellent asset for destitute people who have health concerns. It is very sad to see any person struggling, homeless, destitute and in need but so amazing to meet such a diversity of people with so many different skills and abilities. John, I love the way you engage with people you meet and we see how interesting they are in their own right. Being in a difficult place does not change who they are as people. This made me cry as usual.
There are so many outstanding talents out there in need of help. Only wish there is a global foundation fund readily available to help these people, so they can access such funds online with genuine claim, for an independent individuals to verify the claim of destitution that the person truthfully out needed help. Its unfortunate that some multi millionaires wasted their money 💰 or splashing cash 💸 at parties or events without thinking of the needy within their community. A moral lesson for all, always consider helping others when you are very capable to do so.

Seems very interesting, smart and likable guy….Sure he felt visible, heard and happy to talk to a kind respectable soul and let some of his thoughts and knowledge escape if only for a little while.

If he's willing or able you could have him on once a week to give us helpful advice or you could help him start a channel. There are grants available for up to 1,800 Rands to help the poor, so maybe you or someone watching could help him apply for it.
