- Kimani Mbugua was a rising star in Kenyan media, known for his youthful presence on stations like Nation FM and Citizen TV. However, in the past four years, he has bravely spoken out about his struggles with mental illness. His father recently shared his situation, and there has been an outpouring of support to help Kimani get the help he needs. Kenyans came together through the help of Oga Obinna and Kenyans to help him go to the hospital for rehab. In this video, we give an update on the progress of Kimani Mbugua.

The balance cannot go to take other people to rehab. It was raised for Kimani. It can be for his upkeep. The dad also said alikuja interview on foot. You could give him a monthly allowance to allow him to visit Kimani, it is part of healing, or it can be saved for when he is well, he can start a business so that his condition does not recur.

AMEN. Prayers can move mountains. There is no one who loves Kimani more than JESUS CHRIST and through HIS BLOOD Kimani can be restored in a very powerful way. JESUS LOVES us all and our children but the enemy's plan is to destroy us and our generation in sin so as to go to hell.

I used to work in Mathare 2 years ago. The pain of being a psychiatric nurse and having a brother who is just like Kim and you cannot help him accordingly. It hits differently.. he is a genius we cannot even tell him he needs help asikize. Got an A in kcse.he is a researcher who develops pesticides his lab has even been visited by different presidents . He still works but an addict. Mshahara yake he cannot even buy himself clothes 😢 my dad is going through alot, we are devastated as a family but we have hope one day it shall be well with him

My dad bn bipolar since he was a young man, now he is 82. God has been faithful. All Kimani needs is more love, understanding, support, prayers and medication. Ain't easy @al😢

Obinna, the state where Kimani is, that he is able to communicate and recognise people including you well, please purpose to prioritise therapy over psychiatry.
1. First step is move him away from the environment that he is so used to and where friends that make him relapse live.
2. Kimani requires a competent therapist with a bias in substance abuse.
3. That girlfriend of his should be away for sometime so that his drinking and smoking habit may reduce.
Kimani staying far from those friends he Mills around with will help him establish new peers/friends that do not partake the substance.
I believe with Obinna spearheading then all is well.
