- Step into a storybook this holiday season as The Great Dickens Christmas Fair celebrates 40 years of festive magic! This beloved Bay Area tradition transforms four acres into the bustling streets of Victorian London, bringing the world of 'A Christmas Carol' to life. From lively street scenes to characters straight out of Dickens’ novels, it’s a fully immersive experience that feels like stepping into another time-but with modern-day perks like mulled wine and cinnamon almonds. We couldn’t resist in trying the fish and chips, eggnog, and warm apple cider, all of which added to the cozy holiday vibe.
Beyond the food, the fair offers dancing, theatrical performances, and rows of artisanal holiday shops perfect for crossing off your gift list. Whether you’re a Dickens devotee, a Christmas enthusiast, or just love an excuse to dress in Victorian finery, this is pure family-friendly fun with old-fashioned charm.
Join the festivities every December weekend at the Cow Palace in Daly City!

Wunderbar
such a fun holiday event!
Did you see the train? Dying to see it and no one is covering it. 😢
Yes, we saw the train. It's actually in a separate section where tickets are scanned and it felt like it was more geared towards children, so I didn't get close to it!
@ ah that makes sense. It’s actually for adults and kids. It’s so cool!
@@bradymccarthy7504 will have to go back next year to take a closer look!
