I still cannot believe the way Morrow and the children died. Landis is mostly to blame but the goddamned helicopter pilot was responsible for it as well. He and Landis did not communicate with each other nor did they coordinate where the helicopter was supposed to be. The man who detonated those explosives had no idea that the helicopter was going to fly lower at roughly 24 or 25 feet. That is when one of the explosives hit the main rotors and another one hit the tail rotor which was blown off. It makes me sick that Landis and several other individuals got off scot free.

There's not enough conversation about how Bill was instantly transported from a bar to France during the time of the Nazis. I get all of this was done to teach a racist a well deserved lesson but.. who or what was teaching the lesson? What happened to the character at the end when he was forced onto the train? The train had Jewish prisoners so it was probably headed to a concentration camp but what happened to Bill?
I was just there yesterday off of Sepulveda Blvd. where they filmed this. The front of the bar still basically looks the same. I was able to park my car right where Vic Morrow parks his car at the start of this scene. I felt such sadness. How could of this happened, I keep wondering. :(

That's why I was the Flames gets you high outside now you look you just leave me out of it I don't want to get involved anymore I was perfectly willing to learn to fly the helicopters over the the last barbecue I had a nobody was interested in buying one for me I said it's only a million dollars for a helicopter. I asked you for nothing ever and one thing a helicopter and no everybody turns me down. They said no we saw that movie with the Charles Tavern she know where he crashes and becomes a survivor of the okay I do clear And he told her I said you know where was an open house buffet with a turkey and and crab legs and things like that but anyway. I will go into great detail about SDI the movies but I what I will tell you is that is no surprises with when you got the great Shirley Temple being you know who went regularly went to Temple and was also acting acid Temple she can play it simple it was amazing just go inside tour the temple and in and you know where everybody knows that the temples were people evolved different beliefs to go to worship by Jesus in things you know perhaps you prefer to my new religion is called Jesus and things. If you like a catalog it's 495 non-refundable of course even if you order but stop it now and then stop at then and then and you know I would like to get some more information on swing dancing and the internet. I heard you can learn anything from swing dancing or the internet. So as my father Teddy Roosevelt I mean and that's hard Teddy Roosevelt said to well this is what I'm trying to do is make some sense out of this ghost ghost in ghost in stew nothing I like better than a good beef stew with some ghost in it not ghost peppers real ghosts and I hope that will be the definitive answer that everybody has been looking for. Again I love you all and look forward to seeing you all again in a mixed up deal like this.
@@bchick7598 You have really bad punctuation for a doctor, moreover a jew!
Sadly... Vic Morrow literally died for and because Twilight Zone.
RIP.
:(
I'll bet family *sued* & collected *BIG-TIME !*
You're sexy.
He gave his all for his craft, Just like Slim Pickens in Blazing Saddles. THEY BOTH walked around the entire set apologizing for having delivered those lines to each member there, after their big scene. Neither had a racist or hateful bone in their makeup !!! RIP ALL Y'ALL !!! Deepest respect to Hollywoods legacy,no matter how badly the present bunch screws the pooch !!!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF THE WHOLE MOVIE. AND IF HE HAD LIVED, THE EPISODE WOULD BE COMPLETE.
It was complete seen it before....just cant find it .
@@patsnation1278 Can you write than again in English?
Rip vic morrow.
I just noticed the 'Dress Code' sign in the background.
They'd be kicking a lot of people out these days because of that sagging pants shit.
Not just sagging pants, but wife beater shirts, gym clothes, stripper shoes and stripper clothes. These days, everybody dresses like they have no class. I've gone on dates where guys showed up in gym clothes and gym sandals......then they had the nerve to speak about how trashy I made them look and feel because I was so well dressed.
Eye get the EXACT SAME feelin' when I walk outta my local Pub at 3 am. Ya really don't know where da hell ya are.
Nothing good happens after midnight...or so I've heard.
His daughter has his looks
Ironic that Vic Morrow was a Jew himself, fine actor.
its just a part in a movie. Not worth dying for.
😁
coincidence
The magic of acting.
Which episode is this?
Its the movie that came out in 1983.
An early appearance from Steven Williams. Aka mr x from the x-files.
Jennifer Jason Leigh looks JUST LIKE her Dad! Holy cow.
Norris from the thing!
God that movie has the scariest special effects ever - I can't look at that actor without seeing his head sprout legs and scuttle across the room like a giant spider, SHUDDER!
Oh shit you're right, I never noticed until this comment
and he's talking to the guy who really lost his head
Rob Bottin was the special FX wizard for the Norris spiderhead in _The Thing_ and the mutated rabbit Anthony later conjured up in this movie!
Chest opening scene.
Saw this when I was 13, because it was rated PG! Lmao. I miss the good ol days
Hahaha! There is no such thing as the good ol days, especially considering the fact that Vic Morrow (the actor shown in this) died during the making of this film, Along with two child actors!
@@majorfanboy2005 I know Vic and those kids died during the filming. My point was that people weren't so ....fussy/ hurt feeling creatures. The good old days were the 70 and 80s to me. I'll even throw In the 90s for good measure. After that a lot of people made their feelings of entitlement Paramount to themselves at least. But sadly they force us all to listen now because of the social media.
@@skottyo There are no good old days. The only good old days are the good days you personally have. Every single decade in existence has a tragedy. So, don't be completely blinded by your nostalgia.
@@majorfanboy2005 ok. Thanks you.
The best story of the movie the guy at the other table was in the X Files .
Mr. X
vic legendary actor
One thing that never left me from watching this scene, even as a kid, was that in the face of brazen use of the n-word, that black guy was actually very cool. Even at the end he expressed sympathy...for the guy spouting off the n-word. Talk about rising above.
This was a great scene.
Well.Do not him too much credit. He was paid to play this guy and it was all scripted.
SouthPark Elvis in de getto Cartman 1:09 in the Real world : )
what was the name ? of this Twilight Zone Episode
@@kittylionmeowroar7572 it's a movie buddy
There's not enough conversation about how Bill was instantly transported from a bar to France during the time of the Nazis. I get all of this was done to teach a racist a well deserved lesson but.. who or what was teaching the lesson? What happened to the character at the end when he was forced onto the train? The train had Jewish prisoners so it was probably headed to a concentration camp but what happened to Bill?
R.I.P. Vic Morrow
Vic Morrow was an excellent actor. That craggy face and gravelly voice.
Vic Morrow’s character needs to be wearing a red hat.
I remember watching this as a kid. Deep. Scary. Brilliant.
Same. It's a shame that the character was eventually given a spot on cable news, once he coded his language a little better, of course
Vic morrow died to young. Never got to see this ending. Need to watch the series combat with Vic.. great show.
I’d like to bring his character to now and be like, you think it was bad then?
It'd make Archie Bunker look more like a church social in comparison...I guess.
What's bad about now?
He was good in combat,,,a long time ago now..I liked him ..
That bar used to be on Gladstone Street in Covina California near the cross streets of Barranca and Hollenbeck I think
15238 Victory Boulevard, Los Angeles,
and that fake looking brick facade is still there according to streetview 2018...
I wish he would have never walked out that door. RIP Vic Morrow.
R I P Vic morrow . I hope your happy and at piece in heaven.
Along with the two children.
I could also imagine he’s meeting Judge Reinhold’s dad.
@SharleneBoswell It's from the movie. The actor that plays Bill was killed during filming. Decapitated by the blades from a crashing helicopter.
He learned all that from this blonde kid he met when he coached little league
I was just there yesterday off of Sepulveda Blvd. where they filmed this. The front of the bar still basically looks the same. I was able to park my car right where Vic Morrow parks his car at the start of this scene. I felt such sadness. How could of this happened, I keep wondering. :(
I watched this on tv last night, I heard Vic Morrow died while they were shooting a scene in the movie, :(
True. There is info on here.
I think a helicopter that was being used in the film crashed, killing him and a child actor on the ground.
Here we are at election time in 2024 during and this story is more relevant than ever...as are many episodes of the Twilight Zone (i.e. "He's Alive").
You mean how bigoted white leftists were over Blacks for trump,Latinos for trump,Asians aka the new whites for trump on Tge fifth of November? End Tge lefts anti whitism, etc
Morrow also did a bit of directing himself so it's not like he was talking out of his behind.
The black man is Steven Williams he was on 21 Jump Street, X-Files and many other tv shows. Very good actor.
"um vic, the line was 'boy ive had rough day'"
How horrendously awful...a great actor..and those two little children. Just breaks your heart for the three of them.
rest in GOD'S Peace.
This is an absolutely phenomenal concept. The greatest tragedy, after the losses of Vic and little Myca and Renee, is that a great story will forever be tainted by horror.
This episode is most definitely great.. applies to the world we now now...
I think the orginal ending had him finding his humanity, and letting go of his anger, and in doing saving two childen from death, But sadly it never got filmed because of his very real death😔
So Sitting at the table we have Sergeant Nash from Black Christmas , Bennenings from the Thing 1982 and the african man Who is s bounty hunter Creighton Duke from jason goes to hell , narration by Burgess Meredith and Vic morrow a great actor, an actor who played the serial killer in the linda carter movie called Hotline resembles vic morrow strongly
nice to see Norris having a good time before he went off to US Outpost #31
@theitguy21: Only an asshole would make such a cruel statement. Morrrow has friends who love and miss him. He has fans who miss him too. You wouldn't be so rotten if he had been a friend or loved one.
I can't watch this clip anymore because I'll start crying. The way he and the children died is beyond horrific and heartbreaking.
*****
Nevermind, you don't get it.
***** Oh, please. He was an exceptional actor AND director who got fucked over by Hollywood. If any actor is 'B Grade' actor it's Leonardo DiCaprio. Morrow was all man and very attractive and sexy, something DiCrapio will NEVER be.
1:53 bill’s friend looks like his chest is about to open up and spurt a foundation of green goop
They look like Simpson’s characters
@@TOCC50Fun fact: Nancy Cartwright was in this movie, but in the third segment.
Really great acting. Vic Morrow was also terrific as Dutch Schultz.
Vic morrow did a fantastic job in the film Dirty Mary Crazy Larry ! Who agrees with me?
