Engine temp has a large influence on power output. An air cooled 2-stroke can easily lose 5,10 and up to 20% power IF it gets too hot and heat soaks 😊

Not here to crap on what your doing, what heat range plug were you running in that saw before? I'm sure you already know the heat range scale on spark plugs right, if not then #5 or #6 being the hotter range and #9 or #10 being the coldest. Years ago Husqvarna used to recommend running NGK BPMR6A plugs then changed to BPMR7A. Careful with those Champion plugs I've had bad luck with them dropping the inner porcelain and taking out a top end on saws. Nice clean OE 372 by the way don't be afraid to give er the bean's great saw's.

I was running a RCY7J.Saw has about 200psi so need a colder plug. It seem to let it build more power in bigger wood Thanks for the tip on Champion plug I guess i will Switch to NGK. That is a Farmertec 372 I built that saw with quality engine parts like a OE 372. If you look back in previous videos I cut some 4ft ash wood with this saw. That is the way I run that saw in smaller wood. Because it will build speed and be hard to stop then hit dirt.

@@kennytheguitarfanatic054 Oh okay I didn't know it was a copy/clone your video title said Husqvarna 372XPW so that's what I thought you were running. We all have our own way of doing things when cutting wood and that's totally fine.

No offense but I can't understand why you would go to the trouble of porting and tuning a saw only to granny it around. I port mine for the sole purpose of having to run them for less time! lol, don't get me wrong I like running saws but fast saws have broken me of my patience for slow under powered saws, a stock 026 is painful to run after running a ported 660 or 572xp or even a stock 500i
