My favorite trick-taking games has to be The crew (Mission Deep Sea) and Fox in the Forest. Among the most unique designs are Pikoko, Rebel Nox and Ghosts of Christmas.

I agree that Akropolis puzzle is satisfying. Was not very excited to try it but after the first game, I wanted to play again and again!

Standard trick taking game have infinite replayability, so if Cat in the box has similar one I am happy :)
