I've just discovered your TH-cam channel. Love your videos. Thank you so much. I'm new to POD tee designing. I'm going to reassess my designs using your checklist and tips from other videos of yours that I've watched.
You have some of the best tutorials and have learned so much watching your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with everyone including possible future Merch competition. I use an old version of photoshop and setup guides in my designs that include a top horizontal guide to 1 inch or 300 pixels, and two vertical guides on each side at 1.5 inch for the left side and 13.5 inch for the right but I don't how low I can go. Some people will tuck in their shirts and of course some wont so how low can one go with their designs? I haven't been able to find this answer anywhere. To answer your question, I never used a check list but now I will thanks to this great tutorial, so informative. Keep up the great work and again thanks!.
Thanks for you comment... yup that all sounds right to me.... I would leave at the very least 300 from the bottom too but you could leave an even bigger space as long as the over all design still looks like a tall rectangle
Hi Juna, Thanks again for this awesome video! I've been looking for the second part of this video where you promised to talk about the GOOD CONTENT half of the Venn diagram you showed. Please share the link to that video in case I missed it somewhere on your channel.
Glad it was helpful! There is really a part 2 exactly.... but any of my video that show how to find trends or what to design are the ones to watch.... Here is a video I made recently on how to find a good niche....th-cam.com/video/aNqXkP1JJt0/w-d-xo.html
Great video as always . Please Make a videos on comping up with good content how to find puns, sayings and quotes on any niche. Please do videos on these topics :)
For the trend Credits: It appears that "No One Fights Alone" part is trademarked. I made a design titled "In This Family No One Fights Alone Breast Cancer Awareness" and got an instant rejection. I assumed it was ok since there were many with that same title.
Is the shark design infringing copyright? I ask because I heard that, but that shark isn't the original one. Do you have any videos on how to distress designs? Thanks!
I can show you the steps to follow to request an invitation but they is no guarantee for acceptance. That's all on Amazon and I really think most of it is timing and luck of the draw to be honest.
Really enjoying your channel - just sold my first shirt today based on some of your design tips! Thanks so much for your valuable content!

Happy to help!
Thanks very helpful tutorial.
Glad it was helpful!
One thing on my checklist is to see if Juna has a new video before I start deciding what to design for.

For the trend Credits: It appears that "No One Fights Alone" part is trademarked. I made a design titled "In This Family No One Fights Alone Breast Cancer Awareness" and got an instant rejection. I assumed it was ok since there were many with that same title.
Aw man... Sorry... I thought it was okay too
@@DetourShirts The ribbon is a no go as well i believe, no one fights alone definitely is though
@@DetourShirts No worries Man, I should have double checked too.
Should we do our designs in cmyk colour mode ?
Yes... but then save it as a PNG which is RGB
@@DetourShirts thank you

Hey you showed Ryan passive income t-shirt.😀
I didn't even realize it... thanks for sharing
what is a good easy to read cursive font?
Thirsty Soft
@@DetourShirts Thank You!
Is the shark design infringing copyright? I ask because I heard that, but that shark isn't the original one. Do you have any videos on how to distress designs? Thanks!
Yes... Don't do Daddy Shark.... sorry this was just about design not about content... I should have mentioned it.
@@DetourShirts I don't understand why is infringing. I checked the phrase "daddy shark" and It's not trademarked
can we use nfl as tags in our design for better seo? as their is no nfl logo in my design but for better reach should i use that nfl tag?
Never , u might get banned
NO! Just like Guru-Ghantaal says.... stay away from adding NFL, NFL team names and NFL player names from your tags and keywords.
Adding texture in affinity designer...still can't do it. Teach us senpai
I'm working on it... I have an idea I'm working on
Can you make a video about how to get accepted in merch by Amazon.
I can show you the steps to follow to request an invitation but they is no guarantee for acceptance. That's all on Amazon and I really think most of it is timing and luck of the draw to be honest.
@@DetourShirts thank you for your reply. I applied 2 times and they did not accept
18:40 Some of those trendy designs look exactly the same with different color or different font. Doesn't Amazon has any policy to ban copycats ?!..
If it is a copycat the original owner needs to report the copycats to Amazon... Amazon is quick to take it down and sometimes terminate accounts.
Can you point me to the check list to print out please? Having a hard time finding it.
