This tower is such a missed potential.. operation: dementia (day 2) commander, one of our helicopters accidentally exploded and gave every tower temporary memory loss, this includes the timing of using abilities. the towers with no abilities are currently getting treated by the medics, so they wont be able to fight... only use towers with abilities, and spam the abilities all the time. even if its useless. good luck commander.
People who are telling that overseer is stronger than ZED havent spotted that bosses getting 2 times less ram damage, i spoted this when i got zed a couple of month ago, so if full overseer (100k hp) hits lets say erad mk1, overseer will deal only 50k damage and die right after, plus ZED has stunning dps and splash with rockets, so technicaly on some maps like singularity zed is cheaper, easier to use and stronger than relic
finally got this tower during the 2x tokens (7 hours of tdx in one sitting i went insane help) and i can wholeheartedly say that this tower was not necessary needed in the game AT ALL I hope the rework will change this tower completely from what it currently is

Nilean loadout : edj,john,commander,sniper,relic and finally cryo blaster! Ezaria loadout : patrol boat,slammer and warship. map : if you choose ilios loadout you will have to do singularity but if you choose nilean you will have to do research base and erazia you will have to do fort summit..... goodluck soldiers! gamemode : endless.... get as far as you can! and no powerups and rewinds allowed.
Relic might needed a rebalance since it only good on the max level because of it 100k Hp unit but the rest of the level are just very bad for late game, then of course it can be use as an early to mid defence
After the rework I think the tower is pretty good now, the price for level 5 is still a bit much in my opinion, maybe like 250k-ish instead, but it does 100k damage to bosses now so that’s good. I personally think it’s really good in endless, especially if at least one other person has it as well since the lowest the amounts you can place per person is 3 with the max in solo’s being 4. It can be really good if used with multiple people, just as long as it’s not a single person using it on like trios.

I feel like what makes early game units on it bad is that it’s melee, but not done correctly, melee would work if either they attack fast and deal medium damage, or they can have a small aoe that does high damage, melees should also have high health but for some reason the archers have like 200 health while spawning 2… but the bandits and zealots spawning all together don’t even amount to 1 archer’s hp…
What I dislike about this tower doesn't even have anything to do with the bottom of the barrel balancing, it's the quality... a bunch of guys going about, stabing and slicing with no sound and some of the most basic ass animations I've ever seen in a game of this scale. The units don't even do anything special, all of them do boring single target damge, and that's it, Also why is the "Overseer" just a guy that runs and has a lot of hp...
its getting reworked, it was heavily rushed. Remember they had one guy putting the code to run those things, so all of those are problems that the ONE CODER has to handle, they have all the sound effects and images, they just need time for the ONE CODER to be able to put it on everything and fix this.
Can jugg solo easy no and because units are meant to be used for different purposes and not if something meant to be used solo and if you get overseer it can 1 shot plague docter

Honestly, my only critique is that it doesnt feel polished, the animations are rough, likr the bandits stab and the zealots swing, and the warden is super slow at attavking, it can only get around 1 hit jn and cant get a single swing on faster enemies, might as well say that the overseer should also have like a slash attack, with its giant claws.

this wouldnt work now considering you can have 12 relics in a quad game. So this means you have, lets do the math. 24 zealots every 30 seconds, so you have 750 x 24 and 100 x 24, so you get 18000 health and 2400 dps every 30 seconds archers you get 18000 damage per SECOND. with PIERCE Warden is irrelevant but either way you get 12000 hp with 3600 dps and overseer is 1.8 million health 30,000 SPLASH damage so we have a total of 2400 + 18000 + 3600 + 30,000 for a grand total of 54,000 dps when you get all of them and a total of 2.1 million health now if we have zealots spawn with the same timing of overseer the stats would be 54,000 health and 7200 dps archers would be 36000 dps with pierce warden would still yet again be irrelevant compared to archers because archers are overpowered as fuck with this tower. now with the 4 you could get in solo it'd be... well even then it easily handles every mode most likely.

you should use a tower to carry you till you get it to max... otherwise you are wasting its full potential... the best upgrade is his max lvl if you don't use it then what even is the point... and basiccly everyone have other towers before relic...

i just pick whatever map I feel is the best for example, John in expert was on Oil Rig so I could axe the two Armored Rangers on w17 (any other map wouldn't let you do that and you would die, meaning you lose on Wave 17) i did John on Moon Outpost for Avatars and being able to axe things twice endless is a vastly different mode in terms of pacing so it can make me feel other maps are better
I have the relic, ngl its very shit. Not to mention the final upgrade is 300k for a dude with 100k hp that just sprints into enemies. I prefer barracks over relic.

@@Visqq_ I mean, she got the points tho. Because Overseer, one of the most powerful units is kinda disappointing. Why? Because Overseer deals 20K damage to the boss instead of 100K which is... Why?? The overseer has 100K health but it deals around 20K damage to the boss. So relic is not pretty good in endless, this is so ridiculous, I'm half dead to get it and this is what we're deserved? Edit: okay, I got the point that overseer deals full damage on non-boss enemy. But I am still sad.
nah max zed is better in the late game, overseer struggles on hordes so much especially in lategame expert, meanwhile zed will just shred right through them not to mention 6 zeds being better than 2 overseers
@kurindor well in solos yes, but taking 1 zed vs 1 overseer, overseer generally does better against stuff, usually if it's not endless he just wipes the map, and he tears apart chunks of boss hp

it got fixed , i tried relic on calamity and he had 1.15m and he got down to 900k after 2 overseers rammed into him
Relic and the zed are in different events so not everyone can get zed

Also... On "How long - ENDLESS" why do you vary so much on maps?
i just pick whatever map I feel is the best
for example, John in expert was on Oil Rig so I could axe the two Armored Rangers on w17 (any other map wouldn't let you do that and you would die, meaning you lose on Wave 17)
i did John on Moon Outpost for Avatars and being able to axe things twice
endless is a vastly different mode in terms of pacing so it can make me feel other maps are better

I have the relic, ngl its very shit. Not to mention the final upgrade is 300k for a dude with 100k hp that just sprints into enemies. I prefer barracks over relic.
the tower is very cool but theres never a point where its useful, by the time you can afford the max level in either expert or endless youre either dead, dont need it at all or its already useless, it feels like a dead slot to equip it
level 1 is insane CE in the early game but once you hit wave 6-8 it becomes useless imo, late game just isn't worth it
@@kurindor archers are also rlly good, warden is just so irrelevant because of its health being too low for the 10 THOUSAND PRICE COST.

@@Visqq_ I mean, she got the points tho. Because Overseer, one of the most powerful units is kinda disappointing. Why? Because Overseer deals 20K damage to the boss instead of 100K which is... Why?? The overseer has 100K health but it deals around 20K damage to the boss. So relic is not pretty good in endless, this is so ridiculous, I'm half dead to get it and this is what we're deserved?
Edit: okay, I got the point that overseer deals full damage on non-boss enemy. But I am still sad.

Probably not lategame usage tho, max zed is strong but overseer is just... crazy
nah max zed is better in the late game, overseer struggles on hordes so much especially in lategame expert, meanwhile zed will just shred right through them
not to mention 6 zeds being better than 2 overseers
@kurindor well in solos yes, but taking 1 zed vs 1 overseer, overseer generally does better against stuff, usually if it's not endless he just wipes the map, and he tears apart chunks of boss hp
6 z.e.d that mean 60k hp it not a lot to 200k hp but so 1,818 dps to 15,000 dps
