Btw, Dr Genus stated that the whole point of the limiter is to make sure an organism's own power doesn't overwhelm it's mind, otherwise it becomes a mindless rampaging monster. Not only must one train their body in removing or even cracking their limiter, but they must train their mind as well. Saitama did this simultaneously with his hero training, and thus was able to properly remove his limiter. The seemingly minor detail of never using air conditioning or heating during the seasonal changes to "strengthen the mind" were critical in forging a willpower that could handle his soon-to-come strength. Garou meanwhile didn't do enough mental training, and despite being on the same limiter-breaching path as Saitama with all the times he trained physically and overcame death and evolved. His lack of mental refinement left him unable to handle the increase in power, thus causing his transformations to worsen his mental state and for him to start becoming weaker, brutish, insane and totally monstrous near the end of his fight with Saitama. That among other factors is why he lost and failed to reach Saitama's level.

Not to mention the workouts. Those workouts for a normal human are literally impossible and he did them anyway. His bones were breaking, and he still kept going. When you have a martial art that is basically a faster more useful, physical version/application of Naruto shipudden's Jinton Dust particle style, which is all about pulverizing Opponents/obstructions to dust...... I wouldn't say that Garou is exactly lacking in the destructive departement either. Also keep in mind that Garou managed to keep up an exchange with Saitama using Two handed consecutive punches with said technique, without getting blasted away. He got overwhelmed after a short time, but could still escape, so that implies that the tequnique is close to Normal punch combo if not equal, which says A LOT. People like to ask how Garou would deal with CSRC ,a planet buster attack that takes a few sec to charge btw, but let me ask this: How exactly does Boros stop Garou from visciously tearing him apart every moment, when he couldn't even react to a single attack thrown by Saitama, unlike Garou?

Garou that can attack well below the centisecond range. (See: Flashy flash vs Garou) Do you think Garou will stop attacking Boros either? As we've seen from Garou vs Darkshine, he can keep up an onslaught too, as if waves of multiple martial artists are fighting at once. Boros can't keep regenerating forever, his energy reserves have clear limits, which was 5 attacks, 3 normal punches, 1 consecutive combo and one indirect serious punch, which is less than it took to put Garou down btw. Another thing, it doesn't matter how quick you ESTIMATE Boros to be in comparison to Garou, what holds more weight is what the author says, which is this (paraphrasing): " A fight between A. Garou and Boros would be close/even/competetive it's hard to say who would win, but Garou has the clear advantage in close combat, where he can dodge punches and kicks." This should be a no brainer though as Garou has the better speed feats, he could react far better to Saitama attacks and dodge them, he was quick enough to keep up an actual exchange with Saitama's TWO handed consecutive punches and he escaped Saitama's grip and sight a couple of times. That's better reaction speed, attack rate and agility. Also I don't buy that excuse of Boros not being the type to evade, he could do nothing whenever Saitama attcked, who btw just intercepted Boros mostly while he was being rushed down by him, so that means Boros couldn't keep up with Saitama's attacks whenever he decided to retaliate. Saitama let Boros blitz him, bc he wanted to see/feel how much Boros could do, if he wanted to he could have ended the battle with Two handed consecutive punches and he'd be dust.

In short, Garou is a casual above dragon that can low dif 2 high dragons at once (flashy flash and darkshine) and compete with saitama on a similar level to boros
His fight with Saitama wasn't similar to Boros' at all. All Boros showed was that he has the power to kick and object to space and launch a slow AF, kamikaze, wannabe ki blast. Garou dodged multiple times the fastest thing in the series, Saitama. Enough said.

Just because Garou was human, doesn't mean Saitama's attacks weren't extremely powerful, they were literally serious attacks, monster or not, he was fighting with intent. He never did that with any other human. He blew his god damn arm off. He literally "got serious" to try and get GAROU to go all out. That's INSANE. With Boros, Saitama seemed so PISSED at how disappointing Boros was. When Saitama saw Garou, he literally knew he was way different than all of those other cucks. That's why when Garou started saying those cliche things like "I wanna hear you cry when I rip your throat out" or whatever, he was like "stop raising loser flags". Saitama literally wanted to stop fighting Boros, even though he's a "monster", he wanted to stop. He was super disappointed and felt bad for him, pity. He probably only used a serious punch because he was like "oh, ah, ooga booga, this attack releases all my energy, my final move!", like some DBZ tryhard. And Saitama said "I guess I'll use my final move", and just punched the air and instantly eradicated it. Man, I can't wait to see AG's fight in the Manga, you'll see how much more impressive he is than Boros.

if a Tatsu that took a full on beating from golden S, was heavily exausted and heavily wounded, was able to completly spot him on his tracks even if it was for mere seconds, i'd say the fight would be pretty hard Gorou could win but really high dif imo
One just called me and confirmed that Gouketsu actually didn't die and Suiriyu was hallucinating. Saitama died against Gouketsu and the rest of the series is a dream.

I can't wait to see him demolish everybody. I hope ONE and Murata make it even more savage in the manga. I think Awakened Garou is stronger than Boros, mainly because of his martial arts wich allow him to overwhelm the opponent as the fight goes on. He's too much of a fighting genius to lose to raw power. Especially when he has tremendous power output himself.
When boros goes meteoric burst the sheer power and speed of him moving was enough to propel plasma in his wake, and he knee'd saitama with enough energy to propel him at near relativistic speeds. A real life martial artist could theoretically knock away a stone thown at them, but wouldn't be able to do anything when the stone is thrown at 300 mph, i think garou vs Boros would be like that

Also from a narrative point of view, we know how these series go. There's always an escalation of power as the story progresses. I think Blast is gonna be even crazier than Awakened Garou.

Garou was holding his own against 2 handed consecutive normal punches in blow for blow for a while ( before he got over whelmed and only lost a single horn in the process) unlike boros who got blitzed and turned into mush just by a 1 handed consecutive normal punch. Garou > Boros its not that hard to comprehend.
If you define Saitama being more serious against Boros by him not even defending against most of his attacks and retaliating and attacking less than half the amount of moves he used against Garou and also only getting serious, once multiple cities were in danger and not bc his opponent was holding back and he felt he should get serious to make the fight more interesting, than you have a very poor idea of how fights work in general.

Saitama used double consecutive normal punches, table flip, headbutt etc. Not to mention that Saitama, blew half of Garou's body off in the beginning of their fight which Garou regenerated from and Saitama punched Garou into space. There is more of an argument to be made that Saitama held back more on Boros when looking at the two fights.

Boros still holds the distinction of being the only mysterious being that is confirmed planet-level. Garou simply has no attacks that can beat that Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon in terms of sheer destructive level. So Boros > Garou unless the manga buffs him to the point of insanity.
Boros basically kills himself when doing the attack but yea, expect massive buffs for Garou just like the manga did to webcomic Boros. Murata said it's gonna be on a larger scale than Saitama's fight with Boros so it's gotta be something crazy.
That's just stupid Dbz logic, just bc he has a move that has the capability of destroying a planet doesn't mean the rest of his stats are overall better or that he will even get the opportunity to use it. (The move takes about a few good secs which is an awfully slow attack against someone like Garou, that's the equivalent of a Warlockpunch in Smash) You have to be utterly delusional to think that Boros put up a better fight against Saitama, when Garou has already much better showings in the webcomic when it comes to technique, agility, tactics, reaction time, durability, endurance, adaptility. Boros wasn't able to dodge, counter never mind react to a single attack thrown by Saitama, if he wanted to he could have ended that fight much sooner, but he let Boros have his fun until the planet was in danger and he had to prevent any damage affecting other cities through the use of Serious punch, bc otherwise Saitama was pretty passive and didn't pressure Boros at all. In contrast while he obv didn't aim to kill Garou, at least he participated and engaged in legitimate exchanges against him, bc he at least wanted to put a stop to his antics.
The difference of Garou not getting knocked back when Saitama punched him was simply because of his current size and mass compared to Boros's dense light weight form. It's similar to how Deep Sea King didn't get blown away and instead pierced a hole thru his chest. And as a matter of who is stronger in power output, if Awakened Garou does not display a similar feat as moving so fast that it incinerates all of of his surroundings, and punches that creates destructive beams of light that destroys a ships surface the size of an entire city and finally enough force to eject Saitama out of orbit and escaping the pull of gravity in mere seconds, if he can't surpass atleast 2 of those feats, he will always be at 3rd seat at best and that is even questionable without any info about Blast.
*Although it's never been confirmed properly how strong Garou awakened would be, but in my opinion, I still believe that Boros is stronger by the slightest bit or more... I mean, Boros is like the only opponent who has survived several hits from Saitama... And Saitama himself praised Boros like 2-3 times already for how strong he was.. Boros kept regenerating over and over, even after getting punched multiple times during the end of the battle, but still regenerated instantly.. I know even then Boros is no match for Saitama, but he is the only opponent whom Saitama used his serious punch. But keep in mind guys... Boros mentioned once in his final form that if he use too much of his power, it would shorten his life. So when he went all out using the last of his strength to release his ultimate energy, and Saitama landing a powerful punch, he could no longer have any energy left to regenerate. Even so, he was still alive for at least a few minutes (almost dead on ground) after the battle ended which surprised Saitama. I hope this long explanation helps.. We don't know yet what kind of attack or how many punches Saitama inflicts to defeat Garou in his final state. Maybe after we see the fight in animation, we'll get a better idea And as for Orochi, it was already mentioned that it took only one normal punch for Saitama to defeat the Monster King (Orochi)

Generally what I think is that that garou's second and third monster form are weaker than his usual awakened form, because he has his technic in that form but when he is in his second or third monster form he doesn't do the god slayer attack, just hits saitama
The thing is; Garou tried to overcome Saitama by gaining more raw power and strength, but sacrificed Skill and agility in the process. Garou was the first opponent Saitama faced up so far that could evade and counter him so many times, which however didn't do him any good since Saitama has max durability and stamina and everything else aside from (martial) skill/prowess. So when Garou instinctively tried to deal with Saitama by gaining more raw, monstrous, unrestrained, wild, beastly power (like Boros) all he did, was make it easier for Saitama to hit him, he was just like any other Monster.

Zhoniin You forgot how Garou was tanking double normal consecutive punches while fighting back against Saitama and regenerated from half of his body getting destroyed early in his fight with Saitama. Boros got body by one handed consecutive punches so that should tell you how impressive Garou's durability is.
The more impressive thing is that he made Saitama use Two handed consecutive punches and manged to keep a brief exchange, so matching a doubly effective normal punch combo with his MCGS fist. He got overwhelmed, but still manged to escape, so that imples that his Technique is at least close to the level of Normal pumch combo. So if Boros couldn't react to a single attack used by Saitama, how exactly is he gonna keep up with A. Garou not holding anything back?

I would think they are just shy of being equal , the thing that does it for me is boros was fresh , where garou had been in an almost nonstop battlle for . . . . . . Garou did actually develop his Awakaned Garou hands when he said “my human self is dead” but his entire body was never shown clearly..... just that he had grown his Awakaned Garou hands and Golden S was able to exchange blows with this form of Garou and push him to a complete Awakaned Garou.
If he took the serious headbutt to the chest he would've been completely obliterated and no regen is possible. But he took it to the arm because saitama has no killing intent
I feel like people don't consider artists' physical or emotional states when they're drawing amazing chapters, such as Murata. He'll finish the chapters when he feels like it, and if you feel so impatient to get the next chapter then you fucking draw it.
That's what I was thinking as well. There is a high chance that manga Awakaned Garou will be even stronger than manga/anime Boros. Or roughly as strong but overall much better fighter due to his Godslayer Fist technique.

I'm a bit curious if Garou, once he undergoes character development spurred on by Saitama and such at the end of the arc, will reach a point where he's more of a challenge for Saitama. Because I think Saitama dropped some comments that if Garou had fought seriously, he'd have given Saitama that challenge he craves. What do you guys think?

technically yes and no, what saitama meant is that garou is PHYSICALLY stronger and faster, but in the process garou lost his martial arts skills, thus making him weaker, at least thats what i and most people think
Weaker is subjective. He prob got physically stronger and gained other abilities, but he lost his composure and started to rely more on brute force instead of his genius martial proficiency, which obv doesn't work against Saitama, who for all intends and purposes, only weakness is his utter lack of fighting skills, which Garou could take advantage of, but didn't get him far, bc Saitama is basically invulnerable, so all Garou did by becoming more beefed up and straight forward, was to make it far easier for Saitama to hit him as opposed to earlier, where he managed to predict and evade most of his very simple attacks.

If there is sharp piercing power (garou's skin or armour being shattered) then the momentum would be transferred into penetrating the armor hence the enemy wont fly away physically as much. Just like how Saitama punched the rain out of the city against Deep Sea King which left a hole in his midsection without the monster being sent flying back. (Heavy weight and friction on his feet keeps him in place (inertia)
Likewise if you kick a rubber wall in the middle of a football field with enough force chances are it will be sent flying back, whereas a brick wall will crumble or you may just kick right through it
not mentioning that saitama said he was weaker after his final transformation... Also it would seem that just like genius said about creatures attaining too much power that they lose their sanity it's seems it's what is going on here. So i don't think garou ever broke his limiter, he just went through several breakthroughs thanks to monsterification.
One thing you forgot to mention is that while he's not faster than Saitama, he's able to dodge some of Saitama's punches by basically predicting the future using his martial arts genius. Also when he goes deeper into monsterization, Saitama says he became weaker because he isn't moving as fast as he used to because of the extra bulk and he's losing his martial arts because of the mental changes making him lose his special touch and not much different than any other monster Saitama has fought.

I think the only thing that Garou has over Boros is his martial arts skill, though Boros has some insane experience from his home planet. Garou is probably best with taking out opponents one by one, while Boros could probably do some crazy combos, if he didn’t meet Saitama and in turn met the S class. Their durability isn’t really comparable, as the punches that Boros took vs the ones Garou took (though they were both labeled as normal) personally looked more serious on Saitamas face during Boros’s fight as well as with some different power output, but saying they’re equal in that department is fine. The regeneration is probably for Boros though, as if Garou was turned into literal blood only with like a single eye left then he probably couldn’t regen like Boros did when that happened to him. Speed output is also probably on Boros’s side, though we can’t really compare it with like Flashy flash because they never fought (definitely past flashy flash though) and be honest, Boros kicked Saitama TO THE MOON, which I could never see Garou doing. It’s hard enough to move Saitama as it is. Considering raw energy out put, totally Boros after he was flinging him around and stuff, and Garou has yet to replicate anything even NEARLY close to Collapsing star roaring cannon which is why Garou will probably never be disaster level god and Boros basically is if you count that special move (though it basically kills him). I think that if Garou used his God Slayer Fist against Boros and for some reason Boros didn’t dodge it, then if Boros somehow completely gets wrecked (like he was by Saitama from the consecutive normal punch) then he could just regenerate and continue his bombardment. Even with skill, Garou would likely remain on the defensive most of the time. For now, I’d go as far to say thay Boros has more strengths than Garou does (webcomic ofc, Boros can’t be the strongest character forever especially once Garou gets put into Manga). I might be wrong, I really only have Boros’s fight looked over as I haven’t seen the webcomic fight enough.
Unless the translations are off a bit. Awakended Garou was able to dodge saitamas moves and counter them because he was predicting what saitama would do and moving before hand. Not because he increased his speed or strength with the breathing technique. Garou even said his speed and strenght were inferior to saitamas.
Garou is the only character who could read saitamas punches and land devastating counters but yeah it's Saitama so it didn't effect I'm but if it was someone else then RIP
garou toke 7 regular punches, 2 dobble hand punch combos (that one who made boros go into 100 pieces but with two hands) and 2 serious moves. boros only took 3 regular punches, 1 onehanded punch combo and 1 serious move. So garou toke around 3 times as much, not talking about the multiple times he got thrown through walls or that he fought injured.
This guy could definitely hold his own against Boros, with his durability and his level of skill I don't think he'd even struggle until Boros went into meteoric burst mode, even then he might be able to dodge him. I don't think he'd be able to kill him though, it took a serious punch from Saitama to put him down for good, and I don't think Garou would be able to output that kind of power
I have a question you sound like the guy but a while back from 2016 to maybe 2018 there was a video on garou. It was titled "how strong is awakened garou" it talked about garou talking down the major heros and then getting to saitama. And there was this badass music to go with it was it you? Or some other youtuber?
If Garou was just a simple brawl as Saitama said himself after the fight, then Boros was just child's play, bc Saitama did put far more effort and was far more engaged against Garou than he was against any other opponent in the whole series so far by comparison, that's just pure facts based on the stats and actions displayed within that confrontation and the Manga will go even further than that, so......

Btw, Dr Genus stated that the whole point of the limiter is to make sure an organism's own power doesn't overwhelm it's mind, otherwise it becomes a mindless rampaging monster. Not only must one train their body in removing or even cracking their limiter, but they must train their mind as well. Saitama did this simultaneously with his hero training, and thus was able to properly remove his limiter. The seemingly minor detail of never using air conditioning or heating during the seasonal changes to "strengthen the mind" were critical in forging a willpower that could handle his soon-to-come strength.
Garou meanwhile didn't do enough mental training, and despite being on the same limiter-breaching path as Saitama with all the times he trained physically and overcame death and evolved. His lack of mental refinement left him unable to handle the increase in power, thus causing his transformations to worsen his mental state and for him to start becoming weaker, brutish, insane and totally monstrous near the end of his fight with Saitama. That among other factors is why he lost and failed to reach Saitama's level.

I wouldn't say that Garou is exactly lacking in the destructive departement either. Also keep in mind that Garou managed to keep up an exchange with Saitama using Two handed consecutive punches with said technique, without getting blasted away. He got overwhelmed after a short time, but could still escape, so that implies that the tequnique is close to Normal punch combo if not equal, which says A LOT.
People like to ask how Garou would deal with CSRC ,a planet buster attack that takes a few sec to charge btw, but let me ask this:

As we've seen from Garou vs Darkshine, he can keep up an onslaught too, as if waves of multiple martial artists are fighting at once. Boros can't keep regenerating forever, his energy reserves have clear limits, which was 5 attacks, 3 normal punches, 1 consecutive combo and one indirect serious punch, which is less than it took to put Garou down btw.
Another thing, it doesn't matter how quick you ESTIMATE Boros to be in comparison to Garou, what holds more weight is what the author says, which is this (paraphrasing): " A fight between A. Garou and Boros would be close/even/competetive it's hard to say who would win, but Garou has the clear advantage in close combat, where he can dodge punches and kicks." This should be a no brainer though as Garou has the better speed feats, he could react far better to Saitama attacks and dodge them, he was quick enough to keep up an actual exchange with Saitama's TWO handed consecutive punches and he escaped Saitama's grip and sight a couple of times. That's better reaction speed, attack rate and agility.
Also I don't buy that excuse of Boros not being the type to evade, he could do nothing whenever Saitama attcked, who btw just intercepted Boros mostly while he was being rushed down by him, so that means Boros couldn't keep up with Saitama's attacks whenever he decided to retaliate. Saitama let Boros blitz him, bc he wanted to see/feel how much Boros could do, if he wanted to he could have ended the battle with Two handed consecutive punches and he'd be dust.

His fight with Saitama wasn't similar to Boros' at all. All Boros showed was that he has the power to kick and object to space and launch a slow AF, kamikaze, wannabe ki blast. Garou dodged multiple times the fastest thing in the series, Saitama. Enough said.

Just because Garou was human, doesn't mean Saitama's attacks weren't extremely powerful, they were literally serious attacks, monster or not, he was fighting with intent. He never did that with any other human. He blew his god damn arm off. He literally "got serious" to try and get GAROU to go all out. That's INSANE. With Boros, Saitama seemed so PISSED at how disappointing Boros was. When Saitama saw Garou, he literally knew he was way different than all of those other cucks. That's why when Garou started saying those cliche things like "I wanna hear you cry when I rip your throat out" or whatever, he was like "stop raising loser flags". Saitama literally wanted to stop fighting Boros, even though he's a "monster", he wanted to stop. He was super disappointed and felt bad for him, pity. He probably only used a serious punch because he was like "oh, ah, ooga booga, this attack releases all my energy, my final move!", like some DBZ tryhard. And Saitama said "I guess I'll use my final move", and just punched the air and instantly eradicated it. I think Awakened Garou is stronger than Boros, mainly because of his martial arts wich allow him to overwhelm the opponent as the fight goes on. He's too much of a fighting genius to lose to raw power. Especially when he has tremendous power output himself.
When boros goes meteoric burst the sheer power and speed of him moving was enough to propel plasma in his wake, and he knee'd saitama with enough energy to propel him at near relativistic speeds. A real life martial artist could theoretically knock away a stone thown at them, but wouldn't be able to do anything when the stone is thrown at 300 mph, i think garou vs Boros would be like that

Boros still holds the distinction of being the only mysterious being that is confirmed planet-level. Garou simply has no attacks that can beat that Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon in terms of sheer destructive level. So Boros > Garou unless the manga buffs him to the point of insanity.

The difference of Garou not getting knocked back when Saitama punched him was simply because of his current size and mass compared to Boros's dense light weight form. It's similar to how Deep Sea King didn't get blown away and instead pierced a hole thru his chest. And as a matter of who is stronger in power output, if Awakened Garou does not display a similar feat as moving so fast that it incinerates all of of his surroundings, and punches that creates destructive beams of light that destroys a ships surface the size of an entire city and finally enough force to eject Saitama out of orbit and escaping the pull of gravity in mere seconds, if he can't surpass atleast 2 of those feats, he will always be at 3rd seat at best and that is even questionable without any info about Blast.
*Although it's never been confirmed properly how strong Garou awakened would be, but in my opinion, I still believe that Boros is stronger by the slightest bit or more... I mean, Boros is like the only opponent who has survived several hits from Saitama... And Saitama himself praised Boros like 2-3 times already for how strong he was.. Boros kept regenerating over and over, even after getting punched multiple times during the end of the battle, but still regenerated instantly.. I know even then Boros is no match for Saitama, but he is the only opponent whom Saitama used his serious punch. But keep in mind guys... Boros mentioned once in his final form that if he use too much of his power, it would shorten his life. So when he went all out using the last of his strength to release his ultimate energy, and Saitama landing a powerful punch, he could no longer have any energy left to regenerate. Even so, he was still alive for at least a few minutes (almost dead on ground) after the battle ended which surprised Saitama. I hope this long explanation helps.. Just sharing my thoughts on how strong Boros is*
We don't know yet what kind of attack or how many punches Saitama inflicts to defeat Garou in his final state. Maybe after we see the fight in animation, we'll get a better idea
And as for Orochi, it was already mentioned that it took only one normal punch for Saitama to defeat the Monster King (Orochi)

Generally what I think is that that garou's second and third monster form are weaker than his usual awakened form, because he has his technic in that form but when he is in his second or third monster form he doesn't do the god slayer attack, just hits saitama

The thing is; Garou tried to overcome Saitama by gaining more raw power and strength, but sacrificed Skill and agility in the process. Garou was the first opponent Saitama faced up so far that could evade and counter him so many times, which however didn't do him any good since Saitama has max durability and stamina and everything else aside from (martial) skill/prowess.
So when Garou instinctively tried to deal with Saitama by gaining more raw, monstrous, unrestrained, wild, beastly power (like Boros) all he did, was make it easier for Saitama to hit him, he was just like any other Monster.

Zhoniin You forgot how Garou was tanking double normal consecutive punches while fighting back against Saitama and regenerated from half of his body getting destroyed early in his fight with Saitama. Boros got body by one handed consecutive punches so that should tell you how impressive Garou's durability is.
The more impressive thing is that he made Saitama use Two handed consecutive punches and manged to keep a brief exchange, so matching a doubly effective normal punch combo with his MCGS fist. He got overwhelmed, but still manged to escape, so that imples that his Technique is at least close to the level of Normal pumch combo.
So if Boros couldn't react to a single attack used by Saitama, how exactly is he gonna keep up with A. Garou not holding anything back?
I'm sure in the manga he's going to be a billion times stronger.

Garou did actually develop his Awakaned Garou hands when he said “my human self is dead” but his entire body was never shown clearly..... just that he had grown his Awakaned Garou hands and Golden S was able to exchange blows with this form of Garou and push him to a complete Awakaned Garou.

I feel like people don't consider artists' physical or emotional states when they're drawing amazing chapters, such as Murata. He'll finish the chapters when he feels like it, and if you feel so impatient to get the next chapter then you fucking draw it.

That's what I was thinking as well. There is a high chance that manga Awakaned Garou will be even stronger than manga/anime Boros. Or roughly as strong but overall much better fighter due to his Godslayer Fist technique.

I'm a bit curious if Garou, once he undergoes character development spurred on by Saitama and such at the end of the arc, will reach a point where he's more of a challenge for Saitama. Because I think Saitama dropped some comments that if Garou had fought seriously, he'd have given Saitama that challenge he craves. What do you guys think?

Weaker is subjective. He prob got physically stronger and gained other abilities, but he lost his composure and started to rely more on brute force instead of his genius martial proficiency, which obv doesn't work against Saitama, who for all intends and purposes, only weakness is his utter lack of fighting skills, which Garou could take advantage of, but didn't get him far, bc Saitama is basically invulnerable, so all Garou did by becoming more beefed up and straight forward, was to make it far easier for Saitama to hit him as opposed to earlier, where he managed to predict and evade most of his very simple attacks.
Try reading again. Saitama states this after he goes back to being humanoid

If there is sharp piercing power (garou's skin or armour being shattered) then the momentum would be transferred into penetrating the armor hence the enemy wont fly away physically as much. Just like how Saitama punched the rain out of the city against Deep Sea King which left a hole in his midsection without the monster being sent flying back. (Heavy weight and friction on his feet keeps him in place (inertia)
Likewise if you kick a rubber wall in the middle of a football field with enough force chances are it will be sent flying back, whereas a brick wall will crumble or you may just kick right through it

Also it would seem that just like genius said about creatures attaining too much power that they lose their sanity it's seems it's what is going on here. So i don't think garou ever broke his limiter, he just went through several breakthroughs thanks to monsterification.

One thing you forgot to mention is that while he's not faster than Saitama, he's able to dodge some of Saitama's punches by basically predicting the future using his martial arts genius. Also when he goes deeper into monsterization, Saitama says he became weaker because he isn't moving as fast as he used to because of the extra bulk and he's losing his martial arts because of the mental changes making him lose his special touch and not much different than any other monster Saitama has fought.

I think the only thing that Garou has over Boros is his martial arts skill, though Boros has some insane experience from his home planet. Garou is probably best with taking out opponents one by one, while Boros could probably do some crazy combos, if he didn’t meet Saitama and in turn met the S class. Their durability isn’t really comparable, as the punches that Boros took vs the ones Garou took (though they were both labeled as normal) personally looked more serious on Saitamas face during Boros’s fight as well as with some different power output, but saying they’re equal in that department is fine. The regeneration is probably for Boros though, as if Garou was turned into literal blood only with like a single eye left then he probably couldn’t regen like Boros did when that happened to him. Speed output is also probably on Boros’s side, though we can’t really compare it with like Flashy flash because they never fought (definitely past flashy flash though) and be honest, Boros kicked Saitama TO THE MOON, which I could never see Garou doing. It’s hard enough to move Saitama as it is. Considering raw energy out put, totally Boros after he was flinging him around and stuff, and Garou has yet to replicate anything even NEARLY close to Collapsing star roaring cannon which is why Garou will probably never be disaster level god and Boros basically is if you count that special move (though it basically kills him). I think that if Garou used his God Slayer Fist against Boros and for some reason Boros didn’t dodge it, then if Boros somehow completely gets wrecked (like he was by Saitama from the consecutive normal punch) then he could just regenerate and continue his bombardment. Even with skill, Garou would likely remain on the defensive most of the time. For now, I’d go as far to say thay Boros has more strengths than Garou does (webcomic ofc, Boros can’t be the strongest character forever especially once Garou gets put into Manga). I might be wrong, I really only have Boros’s fight looked over as I haven’t seen the webcomic fight enough.
Unless the translations are off a bit. Awakended Garou was able to dodge saitamas moves and counter them because he was predicting what saitama would do and moving before hand. Not because he increased his speed or strength with the breathing technique. Garou even said his speed and strenght were inferior to saitamas.
Garou is the only character who could read saitamas punches and land devastating counters but yeah it's Saitama so it didn't effect I'm but if it was someone else then RIP
garou toke 7 regular punches, 2 dobble hand punch combos (that one who made boros go into 100 pieces but with two hands) and 2 serious moves. boros only took 3 regular punches, 1 onehanded punch combo and 1 serious move. So garou toke around 3 times as much, not talking about the multiple times he got thrown through walls or that he fought injured.
This guy could definitely hold his own against Boros, with his durability and his level of skill I don't think he'd even struggle until Boros went into meteoric burst mode, even then he might be able to dodge him. I don't think he'd be able to kill him though, it took a serious punch from Saitama to put him down for good, and I don't think Garou would be able to output that kind of power

I have a question you sound like the guy but a while back from 2016 to maybe 2018 there was a video on garou. It was titled "how strong is awakened garou" it talked about garou talking down the major heros and then getting to saitama. And there was this badass music to go with it was it you? Or some other youtuber?

Yep for sure Saitama had a “harder” time battling AG compared to Boros. But still, Saitama held back on both of them.
I have a question about if he is really dodging from speed to saitamas punches, because HE says that he avoids them before saitama throws the punch by reading his body movements and directions, and boros is holding back at least more than with boros, he was basically scolding garou with of course some 1X10^6 power
