I cannot explain how much listening to teachings from this book has helped me at this very point of my life. Literally spoke to many feelings I have been going through inside. If we were intended to live happily in the garden forever, why did God put the Tree of knowledge of good and evil in it. Surely he knew what would happen sooner or later!
And when you said that about God letting us fall to counteract pride, it hit me that perhaps that was one reason for God allowing the Fall: to teach us humility. Otherwise, we might have done the same as Lucifer and the other angels who were created perfect, but rebelled through pride.
So we fall, but not utterly, and we can be redeemed if we are humble and accept God's sovereignty and so forth.
It gives me something to ponder, and thank you again! God bless you.

Mere Christianity by CS Lewis had some moments for me similar to Father Jacques Phillippe's work. Simplicity and mystical insight all at once.

I would recommend the Mystical City of God, by Mary of Agreda, the biography told to Mary by Mary, heeeeeavy deeeep stuff. I was in tears sooo many times. This lady ❤️Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in array? 🥰🥰🥰😇

I'm not sure if there exist well established Catholic channels in German because I feel like not that many people are interested in watching that content. The only ones I know are below 1k subscribers:
