    I love this! I think I’m going to try this! I remember when we did micros back in the day we did the hairline first just in case we didn’t finish so we could rock a bun to school. 😂😂😂

    I finally did it!!! They really do look knotless and so natural. Thanks soooo much for this video again!!
    Also, if I may: if y’all do try this, DO TWIST the hair in your fingers while you twist the hair like she mentions. It’s not as complicated as it looks and trust me, you’ll find a good rhythm and it will go by quick, it looks sooooo much neater and helps to stay. Took me two days but I’m pregnant and my feet was hurting and I also didn’t cut my hair in half so I did the full length. I hope mine lasts as long as your girl. Thanks so much I’m so glad I saw this and now I don’t have to worry about doing my hair everyday. Like I said, the thoroughness of this video gave me the confidence and I’m so glad. ☺️☺️

      Takedown like normal just be careful with not getting knots at the root of your real hair that some knotless styles cause

    Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. One thing….so many TH-camrs apologize for things like ashy hands, nails not being done, dry scalps with flakes…I will never understand that. You all don’t owe the world an explanation or apology for anything. Anyone who has the nerve to judge someone based on things unrelated to the video needs to get a life. Do your thing and don’t waste your time apologizing to those who don’t deserve your time OR apology. Just a little encouragement. 😬

    Thank you so much for this video. I loved it! I used to have the same thing going on with my scalp. I thought it was psoriasis and that I needed to moisturize. It helped at first, but I realized my scalp was becoming reliant and the flakes got worse. Turns out it’s seborrheic dermatitis, NOT dandruff and NOT psoriasis. The oils I used to moisture were actually feeding the yeast which causes dermatitis! I tried so many shampoos and nothing worked until I came across Vichy dercos anti-dandruff shampoo. It has an ingredient that fights the yeast issue. I just apply it to my scalp (not on my hair strands) in the shower, let it sit for 2 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and then do my regular shampoo and conditioning routine. I found that oiling my scalp after using this shampoo didn’t cause any extra flaking. I used the shampoo once a week for about a month, and then I only used it when I saw flaking. After about 6 months or so, I decided to change my eating habits and cut back on dairy, carbs, and other sugars. I’ve been completely cured of seborrheic dermatitis for about 2 years now! It’s not expensive to purchase. Just google it and there are a bunch of sellers. God bless! 💜

    • @desdub
      @desdub 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, and I haven’t used the shampoo since I changed my eating habits, and haven’t seen a flake since.

      Wow, thank you soooo much for sharing 🙏🏽. I was diagnosed with scalp psoriasis as a baby, but it might be worth revisiting my dermatologist now as an adult to get a second opinion 👌🏽🤔. I am so glad that you were able to overcome the condition..eating habits are key!! I’m still working on improving my eating habits😩 lol. And thank you for sharing the tip about the shampoo, I’ll have to check it out!!

      @@nashaeshainte You’re so welcome sis! Thank you for sharing as well. I have nothing but faith that you will heal. It starts with consciousness, and you’re already here! I believe my sisters are gifted with something that allows us to SEE. For example, we know what kind of man we have. We know when we have a provider, and we know when we have a cheater. Even if we try to suppress that feeling it’s always there in the back of our minds waiting on us to embrace the reality of it. When we finally get out of our own way is when we take off running as if we had the answer all along. The answer was right in our gut the whole time. I had dermatitis because of what I was putting into my stomach. All the imbalances and bs created leaky gut which caused the same bs to leak into other areas of my body where it doesn’t belong. At this point, inflammation is unleashed. Here comes the poly cystic ovaries, acne, migraines, joint instability, yeast/bacteria imbalance, sinus infections, and COVID-19 (aka The Undertaker. History repeats itself, and let’s not forget about the story of Moses while we’re here.). If my gut is leaking food and other toxins that are causing physical “dis-ease” it definitely isn’t functioning correctly enough to provide the voice of reason and truth that is my intuition. Instead, it communicates the physical “dis-ease” to my mind and it follows suit the way it’s supposed to by creating “disease”. Your gut is under attack but is still able to cry out to you for help! Sister, I urge you to surrender to your gut and get the job done so your light can shine bright enough to ascend beyond the low vibrational energy that is trying to keep you low down with it. I KNOW you’re here with me! You got this!!

    Hi hun 👋🏾 I love the look its so natural and that’s exactly what I want 😍 Just a tip if you don’t mind if you suffer from seborrheic dermatitis, you should avoid oils on your scalp as the yeast that leaves on our scalp is feeding off the oil on your scalp and grows exponentially and leaves flakes. I started wearing my face cream from Cerave to moisturize my scalp and it has done wonders 🤩. Hope that helps 😘

    • @nashaeshainte
      @nashaeshainte  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nashaeshainte Yea honestly not using oils on my scalp has made a huge difference and since the scalp is the continuation of the face, I figured what better option than my face cream ☺️ Make sure it’s fragrance free though. I use the Cerave lotion for dry skin

    instead of starting with a braid, have you ever started with a twist and added in hair the same way??

    • @nashaeshainte
      @nashaeshainte  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, I’ve never thought about doing that! It’s definitely worth a try!!
      Since I keep this style in for 2 months I wanted an anchor technique that was a bit more secure. So, while a twist anchor would definitely make the roots look even more natural with the extensions, I think the braid keeps the roots neater for a longer period of time. Thank you so much for the suggestion!!

      Yes I agree. I got to the second row in the back of my head and my best friend commented that she could already see the difference in how consistent the parts were getting and the actual twist.

    Why use any additional hair when you have enough of your own hair. Hope you don’t mind me asking what the benefit is adding hair to your hair? Thanks

    • @nashaeshainte
      @nashaeshainte  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mainly added the hair for volume. When I blow-dry my hair, although it may have length, it loses volume. And I didn't want my mini twists to look sparse lol. So I added a bit of hair to make up for the volume. The extension hair also holds the curls better at the end compared to natural hair.

    Can I use spring twists for this style?

    • @nashaeshainte
      @nashaeshainte  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question!! I’ve thought about trying this style with spring twist hair, but I haven’t gone through with it yet. I’m sure it can be achieved with the spring twist hair, although I think the twists may have a slightly different texture since spring twist hair is a little bit more wavy. Please let me know if you try it!!
