I love your crochet method… I have a difficult time gripping my hair tightly enough to add the twist hair (though I can do it on other people’s hair)… this will save me! I plan to start this style today and hopefully finish by tomorrow! Thank you!
I truly appreciate the detailed notes and video. It was truly awesome finding your channel, I have never seen someone doing such an in-depth explanation.. thank you so much.....
Cmon! 😊💗💗This needs more views.... Ladies!! Thanks gorgeous!🤩😄...your fun vibe throughout was massive for me and your explanation is so so helpful...I can't wait to try this...hooked new sub here ..🖐🏾❤️❤️🇬🇧
I plan to try this on my next paycheck with summer here and trips being planned this is perfect to me and I wanna do my own hair anyways so I feel like this the best start. I can plat very well it’s parting the back I’m worried about but we gonna try and practice so thank you for your videos ❤
You're very welcome! And you got this girl!! I suggest doing as much of the parting as you can, first. So maybe section all the rows first, and then draw a parting diagram so you know how many sections you're going to put in each row. Then start installing the hair! That way you have an idea of how much hair you're going to use and you can achieve a natural density for the finished style. Let me know how it comes out!!
I learned connecting my twist from you I’m on day two but I’m doing it really small plus gotta stop for taking the kids to school and making dinner.. now stopping to do someone hair … I know I will be done by Thursday lol but I know it will be super full… yall pray for me that my girls will help me take it down 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Beautiful. Thank you for making this tutorial. Quick question- did you wash this particular twisting hair before adding it to your hair and if not would you recommend washing it?
You’re very welcome! I have a scalp condition so I always wash extension hair before installing it. I actually have a tutorial on my channel sharing how I wash my extension hair. Feel free to check it out! 🤗 th-cam.com/video/7zjNq1unQWA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DQm9xwwH5g28JaSy
Do you have to twist the hair while your twisting the hair if you know what I mean? Or is that a preference on styling I saw in your other video with mini twist how you twisted, but that was a different kind of hair, just wondering kinda of getting mixed signals on this particular hair. By the way, I love your videos. I got it now thanks. I love this video
Trust me sis, if I could I would lol..my grip game isn't the strongest so I have a hard time attaching the hair to the plat. This method was easier for me lol. Lmk how the style comes out!!!
Hey thank you so much for sharing. I do have a question. I have used this haid as well vut my twists came out different. Some was twist right and some wasn't. Is there a particular way to twist the hair so ALL the twist s, twist the same??
Yes! Great question!!! First, you want to make sure you are twisting in the right direction. I twisted towards my left, and I didn't roll the hair between my fingers while twisting. I held the hair lightly between my fingers while twisting. I didn't "rope twist" the hair. Hope that makes sense lol!
Great question! That’s the number that worked with the size of my head. Of course, I would have liked for it to be even on both sides but I needed the size of the individual sections be a good size for the twist, so it ended up coming out a little uneven 🤷🏽♀️ lol
Yes! I would consider them to be medium size. They weren't hard to take out at all. I just cut them at some point below where my hair ends, untwisted them, and they came out of the base of my hair easily.
@@nashaeshainte so for the braid portion you put it to one side and then once the braid part is covered you split the hair into two and twist. ok. i needed that clarification, i just came back to check. thank you!
I kept this style in for a month & a half. With proper maintenance it doesn’t get frizzy. I made sure to keep the top of my head tied down as much as possible, and slick it down with mousse as needed🤗
No worries!! I’m glad to answer any questions 🤗. No, they’re not heavy at all, the hair is springy and light. However, I’d imagine they would get heavy if you drench them in water. I didn’t wet them so they remained light on my head.
This is beautiful but why do some of yall waste time crocheting mini twist? Its so much easier and faster to start off braiding at the root and go into 2 strands.
Trust me, sis, if I knew how to attach the hair with a braid, I would, but my grip game isn’t that strong lol. This is the technique that works for me!
This ombré technique helped me use a pack of red braiding hair that I didn’t know what to do with. Savings on savings 💰
Yay!!! I’m glad the video helped 🤗

Does crocheting the hair before twisting it make it last longer
I think it lasts the same amount of time. I crocheted it in because idk how it braid it in lol.
gorgeous.....i'm about to do this style today 😍😍😍😍😍
Yayy!! Lmk how the style turns out!!
Love it and it looks good on you🥰 Will definitely be doing this for vacay.
Yess!!! Let me know how the style comes out!!
Nice tutorial. ..I bought only 2 packs of 24 inches I want it long but not too long.... trying to.figure out how to achieve that
Thank you!! If you can return it and get shorter lengths, you can try combining two of the 16in. or do 16in and 12in.
This is a great tutorial! Definitely gonna try this, thanks! How long did it take you?
about 6 hours..with breaks lol
@@nashaeshainte thank you!

It’s giving ! I need to do my hair
You could try this style next 😉 lol!
So beautiful!
i'm delusional for thinking I can do this but a girl can dream
I guess I'm delusional too bc yes you can, sis!!! I believe in you lol. And if not, book with someone who can lol.
It's easy enough to do, but extremely time consuming. 😢 just set aside at least two days if you're a DIYer like me 😂
Very beautiful 😍
I live for this....Yesssssssssss
Very pretty!
Thank you!!!😊

Please, I’m trying to figure out the same thing. Is she twisting the individual strands while twisting the strands together
Omg so cool! I will try it !

I love this tutorial. Do I need to twist left or right
I twisted to the left for this style🤗
Very pretty
I'm just curious as to why you suggested the parting on each left and right side be uneven? For example Left 3 and 4, the Right 3 and 3
Great question! That’s the number that worked with the size of my head. Of course, I would have liked for it to be even on both sides but I needed the size of the individual sections be a good size for the twist, so it ended up coming out a little uneven 🤷🏽♀️ lol
Hi, would these be considered medium and was it hard to take out? Looks great on you!
Yes! I would consider them to be medium size. They weren't hard to take out at all. I just cut them at some point below where my hair ends, untwisted them, and they came out of the base of my hair easily.
Looks great! How long did it last?
I kept the style in for about 2 months🤗
Can’t wait to do these…i use this install method for Marley twists, so gentle on ur hair…how long did u leave them in?
Yess! Love this method!! I kept the style in for 2 months. That’s usually the max length of time I’ll keep any protective style in 🤗
@@nashaeshainte so for the braid portion you put it to one side and then once the braid part is covered you split the hair into two and twist. ok. i needed that clarification, i just came back to check. thank you!
@@mrod87 yes! That’s exactly what I do👌🏽! Happy braiding love 🤗
About how long does this last? Does it get frizzy?
I kept this style in for a month & a half. With proper maintenance it doesn’t get frizzy. I made sure to keep the top of my head tied down as much as possible, and slick it down with mousse as needed🤗
Thanks for responding to my other question. Are they heavy?

do you dip the twist in hot water?
I did not
🔥!
🔥
Does this hair get frizzy?
No, the twists didn't get frizzy at all! The only think frizzy when I took the twists down was my new growth lol.
All ypu had to do was stretch them
Stretching the hair would have altered the curl pattern so the twists wouldn’t have the springy look to them.
