Sadowsky makes superb instruments. One thing they are known for are brilliant electronics. They really know what they're doing. They make instruments for true professionals, very versatile.

Watching this after having attended the Chuck Loeb Tribute Concert in Reading Pennsylvania. A wonderful show, celebrating the life, and work, of a great musician. Seeing Roger speak at the event was truly moving. So many in the industry lost a great friend way too soon. RIP Chuck Loeb.

What a great player he was....in one line with the big guns such as Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton, Wes Montgomery
...and so on and on.
That's how I see and feel about him, too, Epple. Had the once (twice) in a lifetime opportunity to sit down with him for an interview and chat and he was a true gentleman and wonderful human being, style and class inside and out.

I must own one of these. I have an SS-15 and it's the most perfect instrument I've ever played. I now need a replacement for my Les Paul, and My Stratocaster that plays as perfectly as my SS-15
Roger makes the best guitars period. Now, if I could get them to "sing" like Chuck did...
that is definitely one of the perfect guitar and logically built with all the guitar players concerns the thing is for that guitar you have to sold your soul to the devil no no no don't do that just with $6,000 you going to be fine probably

Sincerely, that's one of the ugliest guitars i've ever seen.
And yours is one of the dumbest comments I've read.
Ugh, why do they have to be so darn expensive? I mean you can't even purchase a USA build Fender Strat with single coil PUs for less than $1500, can you? You have to shell out something like 5 or 10 grand for one of these Sadowsky or PRS guitars, a little more craftsmanship, maybe a bit more sensitivity in the microphones or controls, but come on....really? Guitar technology hasn't really changed substantively in 50 years. Les Paul for 20 grand? Yeah, right. Ripoff.....
I have both, a fender american Standard strat from the 90s and a sadowsky nyc vintage s style. In Terms of playability, intonation and sound, the difference between the sadowsky and the fender is as big as between the fender and a new squier from nowadays. Of course you can play on all of them, but if you can afford it, you will enjoy playin much more on a sadowsky.
@@arnehabenicht1578 Thanks for the feedback; I figured as much. There has to be a reason why the pro's go with the hand-made, NYC origin instrument, even though they are knock-offs of the other company's original design. I have a feeling I would love the neck/fingerboard/fret feeling on the Sadowsky models, no question. As of know, all I can afford with a Sadowsky label or logo on it, is their black baseball cap with the Sad. inscription.....lol. I wear it proudly.
I envy you for the cap ;)...perhaps try to get a used one like i did (although it was difficult to find one in germany)...that is still some serious money but you can keep your car and girlfriend...probably..
@@arnehabenicht1578 Guten Tag, mein social media friend across the pond and then some. Ich bin part Deutsche on my mother's side; always wanted to get there but we can't fly long distance....the altitude, pressurization, and O-2 issues have bothered me on long flights. Extremely hypoxic sensitive. In any event, I'm considerably older than Mr. Loeb when he passed, so guitar playing has become physically too demanding. Keep playing before osteo-arthritis grabs hold.....it is debilitating. Nevertheless, we still noodle on acoustic guitar. Have enjoyed seeing the Sadowsky brand on instruments played by Will Lee of the old Paul Shaffer Band on David Letterman Show in USA, Chuck Loeb, and also RIP when used by the late Walter Becker of Steely Dan. Just a fortune or king's ransom as I noted....way over my old pay grade. Take care.
For me it was lou reed and velvet underground, where I saw sadowsky first. Keep playin and stay safe !
