So I was shown this controller on some YT short shill vid by a friend. I'm impressed with your review. Detailed, thorough, non-bias, and you even gave great use cases for the feature set. Your channel is the hidden gem, not the inexpensive 3rd party device.
Well, bought the controller and was excited to get it. Got delivered today and tried to use it on Xbox with the receiver and wired connections, neither worked. So just a confirmation for people like me that don’t listen or pay attention when it says the controller doesn’t support Xbox.
If you hold down the left thumbstick and press the settings button it will put the joysticks into "normal" mode and remove the deadzones, The factory default setting on the joysticks is circle mode with a small deadzone
Bought this controller and one thing i didn't like about it is the Triggers, idk how to explain it but it feels too smooth and lacking of mechanical feedback like the feel of a Metal spring compressing inside when you pull the trigger further back which is very satisfying.
this review is ahead of its league, i appreciate the very detailed review given the features, it was nice to hear the gyro feature being able to be used on pc as it isnt mentioned in any other reviews ive come across, thank you!
Thanks for all your reviews. Which controller would you say has the best DPAD for fighting games ? EasySMX X10, Flydigi V3P or Flydigi DW2 ? These are the 3 available for me. I almost ordered V3P but read a lot of comments about DPAD being way too sensitive for fighting games...
lol luckily I never actually use controllers for first person shooters. And plenty of people are already using modded controllers for things like recoil dampening when even in proper full auto
Have you played anymore games/fighting games that rely on the Dpad? Can you give some more thoughts on it? Trying to find a controller for use with my Steam Deck and would love one with the whole package. Up in the air on the 8Bit Do ultimate.
Unfortunately the only games I really play that push dpad use are USF4, SFV, and SF6. USF4 in particular can be very challenging to play, so having a solid dpad is important to get consistent inputs. This EasySMX X10 seemed to do the job well, despite the dpad not being a circular "fight" dpad. My dream controller would have: • Standard Xbox Series X|S dpad • Mechanical face buttons like on this EasySMX X10 • Hall Effect thumbsticks like on this EasySMX X10 • Mechanical trigger stop switches like on the Vader 3 Pro • Extra C/Z/M1/M2/M3/M4 buttons like on the Vader 3 Pro • 500hz polling rate while wireless • Extra shoulder buttons like on the BINBOK Ultra Pro • then a few long-shot dreams like analog sliders and rotaries
Could someone tell me if it has mechanical buttons? And which one would be better compared to the Machenike G5 Pro? (I would like this one to be better because the battery is definitely better)
I ran another test and I still get the same results. Whether wired, wireless, and across all the modes I can select... I still get around 13 to 14 on the circularity test. I also made sure I had the latest drives as supplied by EasySMX, as well as calibrated via Windows before retesting. I'll see if I can find that video you mentioned to see what's up.
@@Tuuvas th-cam.com/video/FItOJZkfPZc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PvhYyAfua2zyv43y It's weird cause his unit was pre sale so they might have made it worse upon manufacturing lol
I'm not a hardcore gamer, and was looking into getting this the EasySMX X10, the GameSir T4 Cyclone Pro or the FlyDigi Direwolf 2. Which would you recommend of the three? I'm not interested in customizing buttons, just want the best controller for the price. All are $49.99, though it appears I can get a bit of a discount on the EasySMX X10 with your coupon code.
I can only comment confidently on EasySMX and Flydigi. As long as you don't care for button customization, then I'd say go for the X10. That said, keep in mind polling rates. I believe the Gamesir T4 Cyclone Pro is 500hz in wireless mode.
Yup, I've seen many posts about it now being capable of 1000hz. I just don't know if that's limited to wired or also includes wireless. Edit: apparently the GameSir G7 SE is wired only, so I guess that answers that question lol
@@Tuuvas it arrived today thumbsticks are amazing but the version 6.25v which it claims to be newest does not have the 1000hz option , im guessing they pulled it back
@@Tuuvas Thanks, I ordered 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth with a sudden decision. Did i do something good ? I saw that the abxy keys for vader 3 pro were broken in a few videos.
After connecting it to pc via Bluetooth and steam detecting it as a switch controller, can i go wired or 2.4 mode for low latency and still be able to use the gyro. As we know Bluetooth isn't the fastest
@@Tuuvas so using the gyro in call of duty won't really give any advantage as I'm limited to use it in Bluetooth. And won't that make the inputs in-game delayed as hell. I'm going to buy it Tomorrow, what do you think, should I go for it or is there any better option in this price range?
Another option you could consider at this price range is the Flydigi Direwolf 2. You get the gyro functionality while still being able to use the Xinput dongle mode. You just need Flydigi's PC software to set it up how you'd like
@@Tuuvas Hello again Tuuvas! Here in Canada our Amazon does have Flydigi, however only the Vader 2 , so my question is, Could you recommend a couple of other considerations? I was looking at GameSir G7 SE, thoughts? Thanks again!
Thank you for actually putting a lot of focus on the importance of deadzones. Almost every third party gamepad trips up when it comes to the thumbsticks and their smooth response accuracy. Would you say these are at all comparable to an official Xbox controller in that regard, because in online shooters, nothing beats the Xbox sticks for aiming, and I've tried them all.
Definitely. These have tighter deadzones than what I would need for my Xbox Series controller to avoid stick drift. That said, as mentioned in the review, the deadzones are not configurable... so if you're used to having no deadzones like in the series controller, you'll probably feel this one is lacking in precision. I know some people don't mind the stick drift as long as they can fine tune their aim themselves.
How the hall effect is a scam in EasySMX X10, I just ordered one and knowing that makes me sad because they promised that Drift would be impossible 😢 I was searching for a long time and found this video, good video The bad thing is that I found it since I had asked for control 😔

should i buy EasySMX X10 or xbox controller for single player gaming on pc?
Are you sure we can reassign the L3 or R3 buttons to the M1 or M2 buttons ?
the left and right triggers are not working when pressed at the same time. how can it be resolved?
How does it compare to the x15

It's nice for a 30$ controller. But its sticks are too tight. You'll struggle to keep it sideways.
