NDCS x NYP Charity Tooth Stools - Let It Glow

Most of us are in the dark about the state of our oral health, hence regular dental checkups are needed to shed light on certain dental issues. In this design, tooth nerves form positive words associated with good oral health like "Confidence, Shine, Refresh and Strength" that can only be seen clearly in the dark with the help of mixing luminous and regular paint to emphasize the "bringing to light" factor of the message. This showcases the positive attributes associated with good oral health and encourages regular visits to the dentist.
Marrying art and oral health, the Charity Tooth Stools project aims to raise awareness of the importance of oral health in Singapore. To bring this project to life, 25 NYP students applied their artistic flair to uniquely design and paint 13 fibreglass stools. Shaped in the form of a tooth, these stools can be functionally used in offices, clinics or homes, or aesthetically displayed as decorative art pieces.
