JUST THE OCEAN - BELINDA POINT, FORT BRAGG, CALIFORNIA

October 10, 2024. Fort Bragg, California. I recorded the sights and sounds of the ocean when I took a walk to Belinda Point today. Named after the movie Johnny Belinda that was filmed in this area.
The 1948 film "Johnny Belinda" starred Jane Wyman as Belinda McDonald and Lew Ayres as Dr. Robert Richardson1
. It also featured Charles Bickford, Agnes Moorehead, and Stephen McNally in supporting roles1

The Belinda Point Trail in Fort Bragg, California, is a lovely 0.7-mile (or about 1.1 km) out-and-back trail1
. It's generally considered easy and takes around 22 minutes to complete1

Trailhead: The trailhead is located at 17410 Ocean Drive, just south of the Mendocino Botanical Gardens2
