Our children are a gift . I had so much beautiful memories there but now Syria turned for me in a depressing place where I had to see a lot which normal kids never saw. I never wanted to smell blood, to see dead people, to hear helicopters attacking us. Now I'm not a kid anymor, just a traumatized teenager who had to grow up very quickly. So I don't live in Syria anymore and I'm also afraid of going back because of the memories which are gone, because of the people who are gone and so on. @J. Kanawati I know syria had problems in the 1980s but after bashar alassad it started to get better. He was planning much for syria and he could have made syria great, but other countries were afraid of this development in syria and so they financed weapons and made the war look like it started in syria with no other help from other countries. I know Syria wasn't perfect, but I also know that in the first six years of my life I had a very beautiful childhood and I missed nothing. We had everything we wanted and for me it was all perfect.

    • @jinora3576
      @jinora3576 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @J. Kanawati I don't know all of that.. At least I was 10 when I left Syria, but yes I know there was corruption and there were a lot of problems. But we should have wait a little bit, so we could see if it would fet better with the new president. At least he was trying. And yes there was still something like a secret police and people had to fear them, but what I'm saying is we don't know if this could have get better if we didn't just start a war. I mean what do we have from this war now? Millions of death people or refugees? Poverty ? A crahing economy of Syria? Traumatised children, teenagers and adults? Seperated families? A weak army that can't even stop ISIS? Other countries taking away the oil syria had?
      All of that could be avoided if we didn't just went out and hold weapons to the police. If we just protested peacefully and we were able to protest peacefully.

      But what she says is not against the idea that the man should be blamed too. When a thief robs a house, of course, he did a crime and of course, he is going to jail, but don't you blame the house owner too if he left the doors and windows open? And that's why there are different punishments for a robber who breaks the door and the one who just comes across the open door. What I'm saying she is not saying it's all her fault that she is being harassed, but the fact she has a part of the fault can't be denied.

    sEEms like a really good girls' school --- pity we don't have better schooling ! The pupils have respect for their teachers and the teachers don't mistake giving in for caring .

    I love how they handled the boys getting in a tiff. Good job! The woman and girls not wearing a head dress, are they not Muslim?
    Are they Christians?
    So interesting to have a peak into someone’s world.
    Thanks for sharing.

      Not all muslims wear head scarfs in Syria there is no laws where you have to wear it so people choose themselves. its a secular government so they dont have religious laws like in Iran or Saudi Arabia. They do have christians in Syria too but majority are muslims and many muslims do not wear religious attire.In countries like Syria Iraq it wasnt common at all to wear it it started as a trend from the gulf around the 2000's onwards.

      @@Dancingsingingstars Please, sir, do not generalize to all Muslims, if there are only Muslims in the name who do not know anything about Islamic law, this does not mean that Islam has laws to kill people, because they are not muslims.
      And you can see that there are many Muslims living in Europe and America, and almost all over the world.
