In the future, when you have time, I'd love to see you wearing your favourite tutus and demonstrating how the different styles impact the way you move and how they're different for partners to work with. Meanwhile, the tutus you showed were all gorgeous and thank you so much for sharing them. The ombre one is really stunning, as is the red one!
Very informative - a talkative ballerina is so important - we can appreciate ballet’s heritage more. As always, you epitomise style and delight us all with your strong character.
Fascinating!! My respect for for all the seamstresses who spend countless hours creating these beautiful tutus. Also, my respect for all of the dancers who wear them. 💖💕❤💖💕❤
I would like to see a video purely on your favorite and least favorite costumes that you have preformed in at the vaganova or at the mariinsky. I love you so much Masha you are such an inspiration to me as a young ballerina!!
I was transfixed when I first saw Odile inn her black tutu….I never saw one before….first impressions are lasting! Thank you for sharing your collection of tutus and your thoughts on them! ❤
Dear Maria, Its so nice to see you talk about your performance clothes and techniques. Thank you and to your beautiful sister for inspiring the ballet world with beauty kindness and your devoted heart to motivational teaching. 🤍🤍🩷🩷With love
Im Team ombre 😅😍 it's so beautiful looking like the soft feathers of a swan, absolutely breath taking. And very heartwarming when you talked about your old black tutu which traveled slot with you 😊💝
I am sure that You are absolutely right. But! If You look to the movements and consider the meaning of them; the Russian ballet of today is much, much older than the French one, has much more in common with the Chinese dance originating from martial art. Remembering that tai-chi for instance in the beginning was created for war. Of course the French ballet influenced for some years the Russian. But You may not forget the magnificent base. And that France learned almost everything about ballet from Russia and not viceversa. My best greetings from Sweden. And thank You for Your beautiful lessons.
These are all very nice, thanks for your explanation! For some reason I personally don’t like the look of these flat tutus-they remind me of a stiff paper plate, which is not very luxurious😅
You are so pure❤️of corse I am for the black team. Can you do another workouts video for the general strength?Or a video where you speak about injury?Thank you 🫶🏻
2:20 you started perfect. And I’m pretty sure we all understand what you mean 😃Should have not doubted. Was no ballet in 830-840 …that I know of, more like Viking plundering 🤣 Know the feeling of language barrier translate in the mind in the middle of a sentence. English isn’t my mother tongue either.
@@Agstv78 We wear sweat pants, sweatshirt, jacket, or whatever makes you comfortable, mostly over leotard and tights for warm-up class and rehearsal (you remove layers as you get warmer). In ballet with tutus or long skirts, you must rehearse in those so you or your partner can get used to on proportion and feel of the skirt.
True and a lot of the concept I think came from the Greeks worship of the body worshipers instead of the inner you had philosophers of inner and outer and there's quite a few who worship unlike me I just admire but you know what I'm talking about it's the Elegance in the Beauty and the creativeness of the mind of the individual who is the creator or the communication what ballet does to me is communicate

I’ve built several tutus and they are so much fun to make. The part between the skirt and the waist is called the basque.

It is very nice to know all the details about ballet by a so successful and famous dancer with such passion for her work, thank you!

So cool to see them and hear about your preferences!
The ombre tutu is gorgeous! I would prefer to wear black rather than white for a number of reasons. Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for sharing the lovely and informative video, Masha! Very happy to see you love your new black Tutu!
Ух ты!!
Спасибо огромное за такую интересную информацию!😍
У меня тоже есть похожая пачка от BLOCH репетиционная, и она просто невероятно удобная! ❤️
Tutus & tiaras, a ballerina's most cherished accessories. Keepers for life.
Gracias María. Saludos afectuosos desde Argentina. Abrazo! Toda mi admiración! Cariños, Karem ☮️
Loved seeing your tutus!

Team black! Though the ombré was gorgeous too
Team white Tutu. But like you said for Black Swan or Pharao‘s Daughter I would wear a black Tutu.
These are all very nice, thanks for your explanation!
For some reason I personally don’t like the look of these flat tutus-they remind me of a stiff paper plate, which is not very luxurious😅
The closure device is called a hook and eye, so you would call them hooks not hoops.
Black tutu 100% ❤

Loved this video! Team black tutu!
It would have been nice to see you doing a pirouette on points in the final Tutu at the end.
Hello lovely lady. Just love when a video thumbnail appears xx❤❤
Love all of these tutus! Team black 100% though!
Thank you for this video, it's interesting. Do you know how long they take to make a tutu at the Mariinsky Theater ?
Was it something like 5 hours - in a later video?
I love the way you sit, I love the way you move toes, I love the way you talk, I love the way you are, I love you 😘
wish to see you try them on
So adorable truly

I’m your Korean fan🙈 love this video☺️☺️
Where can I buy the last black tutu it looks so beautiful it must be really nice to wear
Team black!!… 🤩🤩🤩🤩
the thumbnail is everything😂😂
Do they clean the tutus? Wouldn’t it be stinky if everyone wears it and sweats on it if they don’t clean it after?
Steam irons, handheld?
Team black tutu
Team white ❤
Can you do some tips how to get better at piruettes please?
Thanks
God Bless you
Maria❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😄
Black tutu
Hahaha I have a feeling you read your notes everytime you look at the right
You need a special case to carry those.
Hi there, i saw in different movies that ballerinas wore clothes, rather casual, while being at rehearsals. Can you describe it?
