I really agree with what you say about the program trying to vilify people especially when it comes to this whole bullying situation. Bullying is never good (I got severely bullied at school and was constantly beaten up) but later in life, circumstances (rehab) forced me to be in the company of my biggest bullied and I learned so much about what happens to some of them and how bullying came from a place of such fear and insecurity. It’s also funny how so many people claim to be anti bullying and all but then are going on so hard for some of these artists - in other words, just being online bullying Your reviews are amazing - even though I live in Spain and have an amazing Spanish partner who explains everything to me, I love your views and content so thank you so much !
thank you so much for your comment!!! I agree with you. My son was severely bullied for years all through elementary school. But now in middle school everything changed and some of the kids who bullied him are now his friends. But waiting until you get on national TV to adress the situation, when you have never apologized or aknowledged it before, is... well... oportunistic and doesn't feel sincere
@@MartaMamma totally agree with that - there is a time and place and I don’t think national TV is either ! So happy things have improved for your son and thank you again x looking forward to the next episode
I have a theory that has become stronger over the weeks. I think Megui is being considered for the 'Drag Race Live: Las Vegas' show and they want to check the fan reaction before final casting. Megui has obviously worked with World of Wonder before so they know who they are and have an existing working relationship. Their drag is very 'Las Vegas female illusion' (like Derek Barry) and would appeal to an audience who value that type of American drag. I love your reviews Mamma! 🖤
The reference to "a band-aid" in the nerds' song was because of the title of a song by the guest judge (who I didn't know either 😅) Ana made me cry with her reaction, I love her! I really liked Kelly Passa? 's look, it was very original. Thank you for your efforts bringing us your review! 😘 A big kiss from Bcn!
I was coming to say that, the singer is Belén Aguilera. I think she only made it to the auditions of Operacion Triunfo, not the contest itself, maybe also other TV talent shows, but I'm not sure. Didn't another song referenced chamaleons? That's for another song, too, which music video features a bunch of queens from seasons 1 and 2
Thanks for posting, or we would miss you Marta! I loved Kelly's look on the runway. The way she interpreted Ana's look spoke to me 💚🤎. Also, Le Cocó, and La Niña touched me in good fashion way! Chloe was funny, sweet and a little cheeky with that surprise hand reveal! I also, love Vampi but didn't feel her look on this runway as much as I usually do. I will miss Kelly. Her art and perspective will be missed! Thanks for all your time and passion for drag❣
Me encanta ver tus vídeos.
They are shocking. When I watched it said "Angelita Perversa" before the lipsync even finished, they were still going, so I knew it was Supremme announcing who was staying. 😡
I forgot to mention that the English subtitles were out of sync towards the end on the WoW video (they gradually got earlier). Before the lipsync even finished it flashed up with the name of the winner. 😡 🖤
As much as I want to dislike Megui, and she usually makes it quite easy, I have to acknowledge something: talking about your past mistakes takes courage, especially on TV. Plus, I kinda get why she did it, because, as you know, I'm a high school teacher, and I've seen it: queer kids find it more difficult than others to fit in the great social scheme that is a high school, and sometimes they do it by all means necessary. I'm not defending Megui, or any bully for that matter, but we must bear in mind that, in those years, socialising is a huge part of their personal development; this doesn't justify their actions, but it's true that at those ages not everyone has acquired the adequate tools for it yet. Other people are just mean for the sake of being mean, point blank period. In any case, even though the damage done in the past may be permanent, I do reckon Megui's present attitude is a sign of growth and learning.
it takes courage to go to your victim and say "I'm sorry". If you wait to be on national TV to do so that's not courage, that's being oportunistic and being afraid of what can come up when people see you on tv
I allowed myself to think of an alternative storyline where production could really have made the audience empathize with Megui instead of this weird "successful but villain" edit. She could've talked about being a bully and how she changed and made an effort to be different from the "masc gay" stereotype when in episode 2 Mariana told her that she's not vibing with her because of how she presents out of drag. It would be such a good moment that could maybe bring them together and understand each other more and we would feel that Megui is really "sincere" about being in a queer drag space (for lack of a better word). Of course it also depends on the queens themselves, but one prompt from the production could've changed the whole direction of that conversation. Because after this episode, we now know that Mariana was absolutely correct in everything she said in episode 2
Ana Locking deserves the world
I’m mainly watching this season for you Marta so please keep posting (while still protecting your mental health!)💜
paisley i love you so much, thank you!!

Some of these queens really said : Imma wear different fabric and silhoutte but kinda same color as Ana 😅
lmao

Thank you so much! I saw everyone laughing but I didn't get the reference!
I wanted to hug Vampi so bad this episode 😢

i agree with everything! I will miss Kelly too. It's crazy to me that she had only been doing drag for 1,5years

Thank you, Marta! Oh, and the US show you were thinking of is "American Idol" 😊
exactly!!

Credit to Almudena from Formula TV for this: the numbers in Miss Khristo look are a referencing to the code for the dye colour Ana uses 🤯
well I saw miss khristo commenting that the theory was interesting but not confirming it :P
The subtitles this season are so bad. I wonder what happened to that?
honestly me too

gracias uwu
Qué necesaria eres mi chiquita, love you 🫶🏼
The mini challenge guest was giving The Substance tease ngl 😅.

más que nada porque acaba de ganar! Igual que no echaron a miss khristo vs porca
