- Defeating all the bosses (and similar events) in #BLUD without taking damage. When vampire lords and billionaires combine forces to wreck the town you've moved to it's time to put that field hockey practice to work and beat the shit out of them.
Overall, a really good game. The really lovely cartoon art style and goofy humor make this a lot of fun to play and there's a number of people to talk to and take selfies with. If you're just trying to push through the game then 6-8 hours is probably what you're looking at for length. The game is pretty generous with healing items and dying fully heals you while shunting you back to the previous checkpoint (usually not far) with any items/progress found saved.
The one real issue with the game is combat being a bit janky. Sometimes you think you'll hit something but it doesn't register. You also tend to get locked in place when using your combo which means another enemy will probably hit you (the same problem occurs with the roll attack that can be difficult to gauge the correct distance). Your dodge roll doesn't give iframes either. The game could also use running for getting around town as a QoL feature.
I'm also not sure how I made it through that hallway at 32:10 unscathed (I'm guessing my roll moved into the claw swipe after its hitbox ended). That part of the final fight is a bit annoying because if you try to slowly kill everything multiple fire vampires spawn by the bomb box (and quickly respawn when killed) making it extremely difficult to clear everything safely. My original intention was to just segment the Dragur fights (which he's kind of easy to bait provided you aren't horizontal to him) but hey, I'll take doing the full thing hitless!

The art style of this game reminds me of a Disney show called Big City greens
I think it's the same animation studio because the same art style is used for one of the Animated AVGN videos and was even used for a Cereal Commercial with coco puffs, Cookie crisps, and the trix rabbit

It's also a middle finger to TH-cam's automated systems for monetization. Not matter what, human oversight is required for cases like this where the game has cartoony graphics but features blood and gore.

Game does look like a lot of fun; only complaint is the sfx and sound mixing. The sfx sound too repetitive or sometimes out of place for the tone of the scene. In the final fight with the large group of vampires it really shows the issue with sound mixing. It's like all the vampire attack sounds are trying to fight over the main boss theme for attention.
Johnny test is like a candle lit flame in sfx compared to this

I feel like the SFX could work if it was MAJORALLY toned down
a lot of these bosses are the perfect blend of horrific and cartoony, the sfx makes the serious moments seem unserious though

The game itself is not my cup of tea (which doesn't mean the game itself is bad ), but the animation is amazing, and the story is fun.

This game looks really nice !
Yeah, the art style is what originally caught my eye but I really enjoyed the goofy humor from playing the demo. There's some issues (as I put in the description) but would say this one's worth playing.

The animation looks phenomenal, but what really takes me out of the game are the sound effects. They often don’t fit with the theme of the scene and are too repetitive. Also, some scenes seem to be missing background music/ambient sounds, so it’s pretty jarring just having the goofy sound effects during intense moments. ( Like during the QTE 16:35 )
there should definitely be a mod or setting that either tones down the sound effects, or outright removes them, their way too intrusive
by that I mean mainly the cutscene ones, the ingame ones are less intrusive and makes sense to an extent
I dig the cartoon network style animation.
For some reason I think of Ok Ko let's play heroes and Aquaman: King of Atlantis when I watch this.

Hrmm the deaths thing from the last video only showed one area lf the boss fight. Do all the deaths look the same on the full version?
The deaths were various cinematics from dying/losing segment. In normal play the death animation is the same regardless of what kills you.

Fantastic animation and style, game looks fun, though the sfx and music feels....bad. It lacks impact and doesn't feel like it fits even in the cartoony manner with it sometimes feeling super repetitive and annoying, and the music kinda feeling like placeholder suspense loops they forgot to replace with actual tracks.

Gameplay looks a little clunky but I’ll pick it up on sale for the animation alone, apparently the writing’s supposed to be decent too
@@CrankyTemplar The combat just looks boring. Plus, they advertised the "customisable combo finishers" being a key feature, and yet, as far as I could see here, it's just not optimal to use them. Long story short, it looks bland and clunky.
Also, I don't like the sound design.
