Eligibility:
You must have completed a program of study at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada.

Hi brother i have two main concerns one is that i have studied two one year courses then how to mention them in education field and secondly iam on applied status for extension so can i apply for pgwp
I started a 2-year diploma course in September 2023. I’ve completed 4 semesters so far, and I will finish my studies this December, making it a total of 5 semesters (16 months).
3 Full Time Student and 2 Part Time.
• In the September term, I took 5 subjects (15 credits) as a full-time student.
• In the January term, I took 5 subjects (15 credits) as a full-time student.
• In the Spring-Short term (May-June), I took 1 subject (3 credits) part-time.
• In the Spring-Long term (May-August), I took 2 subjects (6 credits) part-time.
• In September 2024, I plan to take 7 subjects (21 credits) as a full-time student.
Will I be eligible for a 3-year PGWP, or could it be less?
Hi, it totally depends on the officer, but I hope you get 3 years. I had a 16-month program as well, and I got a 3 year work permit.
okey. So, my study permit got expired in march 2024 and I applied for my study permit extension before march. Unfortunately, I haven't got my study permit extension till now. I got my completion letter and want to apply for PGWP with applied status for study permit extension. Can I apply? If yes, then I would have to select student in my current status. right?
secondly, what about the document number (study permit document number ). Do I have to enter my expired study permit document number or submission number for study permit extension?

Hi, I was part time in two of my semesters, my college never gave third course in each of them and when there were courses available I never had fees. Should i say in my explanation letter that I was part time because of college?
Yes explain them and attach proofs from college as well
hi bro i am in Implied Status but when i fill 5710e, form the application not allowed to enter my study permit expire date they asking latest future date so what can do now? do i need to wait till the extension comes?
Implied status means one has applied work permit and now he/she is no longer studying and waiting for Pgwp approval, so he/she can work full time. In your case you are saying implied as you are waiting for study permit extension, so you can not work full time, hence can not apply work permit at the moment, wait for extension and then apply Pgwp.

In the form in the form 5710e ,if I try my status as student and the date of work permit, it states that your date are not in good way like my study permit vaild for march 2024 , and in june i m still waiting for my study extension

I have two part time semesters with letter from college saying i had extenuating circumstances. Do you think that is an issue. How do I get past it ?
If program is ongoing and part time course is happening with it then it’s alright but if u are just doing those two part time subjects at the moment then u should not work

I have been pushing studies full time for the first two years but then with covid I got sick in December 2021 and had to file extenuating circumstances at the end and dropped by courses to two. Then in the next sem- Jan 2022, there was a big omnicron outbreak in VICTORIA and it had the most cases in BC and since I was still sick I did not want to risk it and could only find two courses that were offered online. I also have medical documents to support one other part time semester which was a surgery. Other than that I maintained full time. What do you think ?

How to know if you are on implied status???I applied my pgwp can i work full time now?
@@dailyclips4163 When you apply for work permit and gets the confirmation from IRCC that they have got your application then your implied status begins and yes you can work full time on implied status.

@@dailyclips4163 I have no idea what is IMM0127 but if you get a letter from IRCC that you have successfully applied and they have got your application and are working on it then yes you can start working full time.
My study is finish . And i didn’t get result of my study permit extension . Can i apply for pgwp and work ?
If your studies are complete and you have transcript or any proof stating your program is finished you can apply for pgwp and then you will be on implied status and yes you can work on implied status as full time.

@@JaspreetSingh-ow2dc implied status means when you apply pgwp and you wait for the decision, your status in that time (between applying and getting the decision) is called implied status,
When you do flagpole you are basically applying for pgwp and you get that decision right away ao basically no implied status in flagpole case,
Also as long as you dnt have study permit extension you can not apply pgwp either online or through flagpole.

Thanks a lot bro. About the date when the study permit is expiring, mine expired in December but then I applied for extension in November which is still yet to be out. Now I am applying for PGWP, when I input the expiry date of my study permit from December, it keeps saying error. Please which expiry date do you suggest I use please. Thank you
