This helped me so much man.. I’ve tried doing everything to get rid of the bottom lines without bringing the fade up. The technique of fading down made it easier for me. Using the no guard open and THEN slowly getting to no guard closed is genius. I’ve always done it opposite.. and next thing I knew.. my low fade turned into a mid fade. I guess it really is about finding your own way of fading that works best for you. Fading up was always tough for me.

That is the perfect afro with a bald fade haircut and Breakdown. It's a cool midway style that's not too full of a fro on the sides and not faded higher than the temples where it would look like a box or high top fade.Its versatile enough to transition it into 360 brush waves or it can stay wolfed out in a mini fro. Furthermore the fro with the baldfade around the bottom back of head & lower sides even has a fresh look under a baseball cap which makes it a clean low maintenance style .

I use this to cut my son's hair now because I can't take him to barber due to corona virus lockdown and I got it right, I've tried doing this on many occasions and keep messing his hair up lol.. hey Jason how's it going great cut by the way. 1 thing just practice more with the master with the surgical blade you pick,cut from back to front with the clipper blade at a tilt with the top teeth grazing the hair remember when doing an afro use blow dryer with pic/comb attachement as well as hand held pick. pic,cut pic,cut pic,cut three times. patting down the hair went out in the mid eighties LOL. with this practice your client will acheive a sheerd mink look. remember practice does not make perfect. but perfect practice makes perfect. you are a good barber work on being a good finisher
