When I lived in Mussoorie, it was indeed THE QUEEN OF HILLS...now it's the QUEEN OF CONCRETE, CONGESTION AND CHAOS. The peaceful walks in this tranquil hill station I once enjoyed, is now impossible with cars, motorcycles and scooters blaring their horns. The stupidity and greed of those who have destroyed this beautiful place is beyond comprehension. The open air restaurant with people sitting near the road, are subject to dust inhalation from passing vehicles - only in India. All the way up to Mussoorie, the road is cluttered with buildings, residences, shops and cafes' with cars, trucks and other vehicles parked wherever they please. Sooner or later, there will be environmental consequences and those responsible for this madness will have to give and account on judgement day. Give me back my QUEEN OF HILLS that I once enjoyed prior to the year 2000.
