I find it strange that people are complaining about her acting, since I was actually pleasantly surprised/impressed by the quality of her acting in ST:P. In fact she's the only person I bothered to mention to my friend was a really great actor after seeing season 1 of ST:P.
It's nice to see her as normal after seeing 8 episodes of her in Devs as a cold unfeeling character - I'm guessing they were trying to represent her as someone on the spectrum.
Katie is not cold or unfeeling, she knows when to show emotion. She´s incredibly generous, she helps Forest for no reason at all. She really liked lyndon, she just did not think there was any other way. Katie is complicated, but not at all unfeeling
character != actress. The character definitely isn't the best person out there (I mean she killed her lover HELLO) , but she, the actress, nailed the role!
