Hi Marcel - thanks for posting all these great basic skills videos! I’ve only just started playing last December and hope to come to your training camp for adults in August. I have decided to become a goalie and have started gathering all the gear I need, and I’ve noticed that there might be plenty of videos on how to size what gear you’ll need, but hardly any or none on HOW to set it up. There’s two loops in the catcher glove, but I can’t for the life of me find out how to set these up - what is it supposed to feel like, which fingers go where etc. same goes for the pads. Perhaps you could do a future series for beginner goalies covering such basics too?
Hi, glad I could help! Yeah the goalie stuff is definitely a good idea! I'm actually doing my goalie coach licensing starting tomorrow so I'll get some ideas from the course for sure!
Perfect timing for this, I’m a newer player, been playing about a year and a half, and just set up my at-home practice area. Thanks for posting!
You’re most welcome! Have fun practicing!

Great tutor 🙇
Thank you!
What do you use as a base for the puck?
A polyethylene pad (basically plastic) with car wax wiped onto it.
