I got an e-mail yesterday regarding part-7 of Carruthers series video that I uploaded a week back. It was from a kind professor, who took out time to send me blessings and few research papers regarding stereochemistry of Michael Addition. I really felt honoured. I went through those research papers and realised that I've made few mistakes while teaching this topic. I've deleted that video and this is the correct version. At 37 I did not understand why the major was that having Me nd OtBu grp.... Bcz in clayden it was trans... According to Houk model thecis is unstable I think..One thing you can say that THF is not Li+ chelating agent thus repulsion betn LDA moiety nd Me.. may be that is the main driving force... Again if it is reported then ok as we all know in Organic we get the product then we make the reason😂😜
Ok mam I have one idea... You can make that molecule in chemdraw nd then by mm2 calculation we can see the PE of those 2 molecules from there we can conclude... I have chemdraw version 2012 where we can't run the structure... If you have 2019 version you can check mam... Thank you😊
Hello, I was waiting for this part of the lecture because you covered the stereochemistry part of Micheal Addition reaction, very few teachers in the colleges teach this topic, this made my concepts more clear and I learnt some new concepts also. Thank you and we appreciate your hard work 👍👍

In 43:07 how oxygen attached to Si shows conjugation instead of oxygen attached to Me? As Si has empty d-orbital so here oxygen has less tendency to donate its lone pair in the conjugation.

Yes these books are more than enough Just practice previous year questions once you complete the theory portion. Bioinorganic bhi you can do from Ajay Kumar. For chemical Bonding, there is no specific book as such.
