- Continuing the journey along Liverpools Docks from South to North. This video covers Harrington, Toxteth, Brunswick and Coburg Docks. Looking at what they once looked like as working docks, compared to what they are now. Places to live and places of work and leisure.
Note: Brunswick Half Tide Dock and South Ferry Basin have not been pointed out in this video as they have become part of what has been shown.

Hi Jeff really enjoying your videos on the Liverpool Dock area, watching them l realised how little l know about the area even though l am often cycling around the area, so much information you provide in the video is so much appreciated thanks for sharing your videos and photos 👍
Thanks Martin, pleased you enjoy them.
the iron bridge never had the black fenching infront of it when i was growing up there, we used play on the football pitch all the time, which was only had large railings each end and no actuall goals, there was just painted on goals on them. We lost about of footballs over the years over the sand stone wall. We even stupidily used to climb onto the otherside of the iron bridge right above the electric lines of the merseyrail tunnel which wasnt a clever idea but when your 11 years old you did stupid things. The flat area at the start of grafton street, was locally known as "the white" as there used to be perfectly laid very much white flag stones on it, not sure why they changed them, but it was great for skateboards, roller skates and remote control cars.
I know you’re from Woolton. I was manager of the Woolton Redbourne Hotel in the mid to late 90s
Love your videos! Which part of Liverpool are you from?
Born Smithdown Road moved to Woolton.
