Awesome looking I did buy white and blue lights myself prior to this video. I'm buying everything prior to starting my build in March. Want to make sure I have everything before starting it. Nice job
Somehow I missed your video. I am subscribed and I have it the bell. Anyway...... I love the detail in the wiring. You have explained all the steps in detail and even someone like me could probably wire up a jon boat. Of course I would have your videos cued up to each step I am completing, so I don't mess it up. Great video. The Jon Boat is looking awesome! Tight Lines!!!
Thats gonna be a pretty neat build btw where in the DMV are you located at? Looking to build my 1448 mod v to something similar to this and can use as much help as possible
I don't have much experience with salt after but everything is made out of stainless steel so it all depends how stainless steel does with salt water. If it's an issue I would install the fuse box inside the boat like other salt water boats.
How long will one of those deep cycle batteries typically last being dedicated to the trolling motor ? Also I see a dedicated battery for the trolling motor dedicated accessory batter, if an outboard was being ran would there just be a 3rd battery for starting it ? When do you need a 2nd battery solely for accessories ?
There a a few different ways you can do it. For a 12 volt trolling motor like this, you can use one battery all day as long as you have an outboard motor for your long runs. Bottom line, it all depends on usage. The second battery can run your graphs and accessories. You would need a starter battery for a gas motor that has electric start. On my personal boat, I put my accessories on my starter battery because it's a dual purpose battery. You should consider running your graphs on a dedicated battery to eliminate potential interference from othe electronics. Good thing is you can buy the new lithium mini batteries which are light weight and take up less space. The prices have gone down on Amazon. Hope this helps.
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV yes thank you very much, I don’t have anything set in stone just yet. I recently acquired a 17ft bass tracker with a 80 outboard and a trolling motor on the front and I believe and electric trolling motor in the rear. I don’t plan on running any graphs or a live well mostly just some lights in the hatches and on the outside/deck aswell as some usb ports and a radio and some speakers. I don’t do any competitive fishing I want the most comfortable rig for me so most of my electronics are just accessory items. Thank you for the help.
I have a Tracker PRO-17 I am Rewiring the whole Boat Thanks for the video.

how do you know what size fuse each electronic gets???
Question, the fuse box sits out like that, for saltwater fishing, wouldn’t it be easy to rust out the connections?

Great job boss
Thank you Sir
