I want to draw a colored rectangle around a certain portion in the video to draw attention of viewers to that portion of the video. For example, I am showing a document in the video and draw a red rectangle around certain text of the document how to do it in Clipchamp?
Thank you so much for this tip and using apps that are easily accessible for most people! Usually, creators would show advance apps that would make me give up.
Yes!! Add each one next to each other, then just add a push to the left or right transition in between each one. That’s the closest I know of to achieve a ‘scrolling’ function, but aim sure someone else may know of a better option :)
What you are asking for is not possible with Clipchamp. The technique is called key framing and it is only possible with robust software like Premier Pro. I am planning a series of tutorials there in the near future.
Thank you. I is an old video. In the latest version of the application I have not seen a zoom functionality.😢I have a question regarding PowerPoint. What is the dimension of the PowerPoint project (canvas). How do you make sure it is the same as the clip champ project.
Hey uNaL pErEnDi, out of all the video editing software I use I would say Adobe Premier Pro is by far easiest when it comes to creating this effect. Let me know if you need a tutorial.
I have been trying to achieve similar item with Capcut desktop...it is kind of powerful with Mask/Overlay features but there is not much easy way to do i can find out...why they dont put such an important feature in an easy way, i dont get it ..
Hi! How do i put an image, text, or arrow move on screen to where i want? for example i want to point at something for my viewers while the camera is moving.
Thanks N1ghtRid3r. @intelligence agency [ia], are you looking for the arrow to move around the screen while pointing at something or is having a stationary arrow ok? I ask because clipchamp doesnt animate layers (called keyframing). There may be a workaround in power point. If you want the arrow to be stationary, there are options in the graphics called annotations that have arrows.
Hey Theory House, are you looking to do this with the motion graphics clipchamp provides? If so, you can drag the clip to lengthen or shorten it, but it still wants to go all the way through the animation making the appearance even shorter than 1 second. If you choose "plain text" from the top of the motion graphics you can drag it down to 1 second and avoid the headache with animation.
Tom Busby, Windows Movie Maker is a bad word in my studio. I am glad to hear it worked well for you, but it was a nightmare for me when I first got into video editing. It kept crashing and never wanted to export properly. Do note that my laptop was not at all ideal for video editing though. Perhaps it was my laptop. Sorry to hear clipchamp didnt work out for you though.

You can do some pretty amazing things with Power Point including exporting MP4 videos.
Will this work for th "Free" version?
pinging engagement here because you've saved my university presentation, thank you!!!
What are you using to record your screen? How are you transitioning from the screen to the camera that’s on you?
OMG! I can't take u how much this helped! thank u sm!!
Hi Mark, very good video. Variant zoom.Picture: Do you know if there is now an easier way to highlight something? Thank you very much.
I also like that you add caption to emphasize the steps in your tutorial.
is there a way to "pan" or "Scroll" images in clipchamp? Similar to the "Zoom" effect, but slowly going from left to right instead

Thank you so much ! love this! but do you know how to zoom while following a moving object??

Can we make text pop up in Clipchamp?
Yes, clipchamp has a number of motion graphics you can choose from to make text appear.
very helpful. Thanks
Thank you very much, keep it up!
Is there any way to manually set a graphic to pop in at time increments so they are exactly 1 second?

Is there any video on how to highlight things by putting an animated cirlce arround them or and animated arrow?
There is an annotation tab on Clipchamp. You can use that. It has arrows, circles, and a lot more.
Thanks Atoz
