Sorry but ssj2 gohan feels completely unearned. Everyone of gohan’s powerups just get introduced very briefly before they actually occur and are plot induced more than anything.
It does, sadly the fact that all you need is to feel your spine tingle to unlock SSJ undermines all their efforts. Universe 6 was and will always be a mistake.

@@PheonixQ Dabura’s attacks don’t actually hurt him. And it’s kinda hard to notice sometimes but he actually does try to land some melee attacks (he only manages to get one per fight lol), and also you know he’s there since he’s powering up Dabura

the word "hope" so emotionally matters. trunks never gave up, he held onto hope and fought his battles through and hope is what gave him powers. whether it was the androids, cell, or the revival of majin buu. he was the world's last hope and he always came through. they really nailed it with dlc
I know, right? Why introduce a character so cool, a god above the gods, and then have him do literally nothing? I can appreciate the games for making an effort to fix that mistake, though.
Because Toriyama doesn't plan his story out properly. It's a shame too as he has a-lot of great pieces but he just needs to figure out where to put them to make them most effective
Beerus had his giant decade long sleep in the main story and only woke up because of a dream about a super saiyan god, if I remember correctly. He probably was still asleep in the future since a ssjg was impossible, so he never dreamed of one or never had a vision. I guess he probably woke up to the pain of... dying... not nice...

Spoilers: So with the supreme kia dead, that means Beerus died too, which was how Goku Black was able to kill the other gods in this timeline. The Destroyer god and the Kai’s lives are connected. If one dies, so does the other. This is to prevent them from killing each other.
This ENTIRE DLC is a masterpiece. Truly I had such a insanely great time playing it. If they ever go into the super story more then the zamasu arc would be awesome along with the destroyer tournament

This just shows how powerful future Dabura is, without his magic Dabura is stated equal to super perfect cell, with his magic goku says he is much stronger than he’d thought. This trunks beat ssj2 rage boosted teen gohan vs cell, with only mastered super saiyan. Though trunks in ssj2 obviously obliterated Dabura, which just shows how strong the z sword training makes someone.
Honestly with how much we keep having future trunks in the current timeline it would be really dope to get a spinoff of him ascending to Goku's level and having his own group of friends and learning to become the best Saiyan he can be. It's just a shame with how many good characters there are in DB but Toriyama just doesn't give them any limelight.

They really stepped on the ball with the dbs anime imo. Aside from the ToP and Black’s personality , everything in the manga was so much better and had more of a true dragonball Z feel to it. This whole flashback was so well done imo (and the game adapted it very well) while in the anime they showed some boring and badly drawn still images with little to no explanation.... Ps: absolutely love how they made his ssj2 transformation even better and gave a call back to Future Gohan’s words. Well executed by the devs
TOP was better in the manga imo. The anime version went on waaaaay longer than it should've and didn't stay consistent at all when it came to how much power each fighter had left
@@jomama7933 A lot of it , yeah. In term of logic and concepts, overall the manga was waaaay better in that arc. But clearly the anime did the “spectacle “ aspect better. Kefla, Aniraza and UI are the best examples: In the anime -Kefla brings one of the best moments in not only dbs but the entire franchise (sliding kamehameha) -As (imo) lame as Aniraza was, it did require a big (but not impressive) beam struggle with the top 5 of U7 , in the manga he is beaten in not even an entire page by Kale. Too anticlimactic -The logic and explanation for UI is waaaaaaaaaay better than the “welp, Goku was hit by a spirit bomb. But he was literally too fired up to die so now he gets white ssj”. Despite that, it was definitely more hype. Also, even if the anime didn’t even took three episodes to forget that the stage was made out of the hardest metal in the multiverse, using a destroyed massive arena with half of it missing with giant chunks of it floating was way cooler than having it be a flat medium size stage with a few scratches like how the manga did in the finale. Also, yeah the pacing in the manga was better, but I think Toyotarou took out a bit too many participants at once with Jiren and Kale going full american football players. That made the tournament be a bit too much “just about Jiren and U7”. Hell, even Kefla, which was the third or fourth biggest player in the tournament doesn’t get a proper fight in the manga
Trunks defeating the mortal part of Fused Zamasu was more fitting than having Goku stand toe to toe with Zamasu. Zamasu launched his attack on Trunks’ world originally, and Trunks gathered all the energy he could from multiple timelines to defeat Zamasu Both the anime and manga dropped the ball on the Vegito/Zamasu battle. The battle should have been over multiple episodes and this bullshit of fusions running out because of too much power needs to end

The manga did well to show the domination Vegito had over Zamasu, wayyyy better than the anime. My issue is with the defusion resulting from an extremely high level of power output due to the final kamehameha. And no, SSB shouldn’t have been on the same level as Fused Zamasu. Story wise seeing a single character handle the villain in his most powerful state took away the threat Fused Zamasu presented. On top of that, Goku Blue doing the hakai out of nowhere was odd. I loved Trunks getting the kill before Zeno had to step in. Zamasu was a threat in his timeline. Trunks is the protector of his world, and watching Trunks digging deep within along with gathering the energy from others to defeat Zamasu was awesome to see. I respect your perspective, it’s in line to the story Toriyama wanted to tell. For me, seeing a badass like Trunks getting the win is one of my favorite moments in Dragon Ball

Though trunks in ssj2 obviously obliterated Dabura, which just shows how strong the z sword training makes someone.

They really stepped on the ball with the dbs anime imo. Aside from the ToP and Black’s personality , everything in the manga was so much better and had more of a true dragonball Z feel to it. This whole flashback was so well done imo (and the game adapted it very well) while in the anime they showed some boring and badly drawn still images with little to no explanation....
Ps: absolutely love how they made his ssj2 transformation even better and gave a call back to Future Gohan’s words. Well executed by the devs
TOP was better in the manga imo. The anime version went on waaaaay longer than it should've and didn't stay consistent at all when it came to how much power each fighter had left
@@jomama7933 A lot of it , yeah. In term of logic and concepts, overall the manga was waaaay better in that arc. But clearly the anime did the “spectacle “ aspect better.
Kefla, Aniraza and UI are the best examples:
In the anime
-Kefla brings one of the best moments in not only dbs but the entire franchise (sliding kamehameha)
-As (imo) lame as Aniraza was, it did require a big (but not impressive) beam struggle with the top 5 of U7 , in the manga he is beaten in not even an entire page by Kale. Too anticlimactic
-The logic and explanation for UI is waaaaaaaaaay better than the “welp, Goku was hit by a spirit bomb. But he was literally too fired up to die so now he gets white ssj”. Despite that, it was definitely more hype.
Also, even if the anime didn’t even took three episodes to forget that the stage was made out of the hardest metal in the multiverse, using a destroyed massive arena with half of it missing with giant chunks of it floating was way cooler than having it be a flat medium size stage with a few scratches like how the manga did in the finale.
Also, yeah the pacing in the manga was better, but I think Toyotarou took out a bit too many participants at once with Jiren and Kale going full american football players. That made the tournament be a bit too much “just about Jiren and U7”. Hell, even Kefla, which was the third or fourth biggest player in the tournament doesn’t get a proper fight in the manga
Trunks defeating the mortal part of Fused Zamasu was more fitting than having Goku stand toe to toe with Zamasu. Zamasu launched his attack on Trunks’ world originally, and Trunks gathered all the energy he could from multiple timelines to defeat Zamasu
Both the anime and manga dropped the ball on the Vegito/Zamasu battle. The battle should have been over multiple episodes and this bullshit of fusions running out because of too much power needs to end

@@danielz-v4083 I’m cool with the potara retcon, it levels the field as far as fusion techniques and makes sense that mortals shouldn’t have the same benefits from using godly items.
The manga did well to show the domination Vegito had over Zamasu, wayyyy better than the anime. My issue is with the defusion resulting from an extremely high level of power output due to the final kamehameha.
And no, SSB shouldn’t have been on the same level as Fused Zamasu. Story wise seeing a single character handle the villain in his most powerful state took away the threat Fused Zamasu presented. On top of that, Goku Blue doing the hakai out of nowhere was odd.
I loved Trunks getting the kill before Zeno had to step in. Zamasu was a threat in his timeline. Trunks is the protector of his world, and watching Trunks digging deep within along with gathering the energy from others to defeat Zamasu was awesome to see.
I respect your perspective, it’s in line to the story Toriyama wanted to tell. For me, seeing a badass like Trunks getting the win is one of my favorite moments in Dragon Ball
