Ok, you have guts for posting. So bravo for having guts. I'm no fan boy of pretty young girls, I'm an old guy so you can take to heart what I'm gonna say. I have no need to empress you so I'm not gonna flatter you with meaningless complements. I have been lucky to know and play with some very high quality singers and musicians for a lot of years. Most people can't play or sing. Some people sing well and some people play well. Even fewer can do both well. That's why most great bands have a singer that only sings. If you want to be a great player spend all your time playing and mastering the guitar. If you want to be a singer get with a pro and have them test your potential. Don't listen to your mama because she's gonna lie to you good or bad and say your the greatest. With enough practice you CAN be a great player. I don't know about a singer, I'm not a pro. Get with someone that is a pro and is not afraid to tell you the truth. Good luck.
Work on your acoustic daily. Get down to the music store for a few DAYS and find your guitar. Yamahas sound excellent and are easy to play. Your voice is excellent, bring the guitar up to that level.
