Oh Lynn. I know just how you feel about things going wrong and I find that as I get older my patience is shorter too. How lovely to see Clitheroe. We went for the first time in February and stayed in a village just outside and it was lovely. We had lunch in the market café - delicious. Love watching & listening to you. x
It happens to us all from time to time doesn’t it, and I agree about age means less patience at incompetence. Aw did you, isn’t the market cute, unspoiled and quaint. They have a food festival there every year, worth a visit if you like that sort of thing. Thank you Jacquline, that’s very kind of you to say ❤️🌹❤️
Loved you and Tina in Clitheroe what an interesting place. Can remember the Clitheroe Kid on radio, ( I’m that old) it’s all I knew about the name till now. So sorry you had a bad week. Watching this on Bank Holiday Monday, did you say your injection booked for tomorrow, good luck. X❤
Yes it’s a very old town with lots of history to it, and very quaint. Oh it’s fine, we all get times like that, I don’t dwell on them. Yes 10am, I’m going to ring before I set off to make sure they definitely have the vaccine in store. 🙏🏻🤞🤦🏼♀️❤️🌹❤️
❤ hi Lynn lovely seeing you and Tina together again, I think you had your fair share of things going wrong for this month don’t you, these things happen in threes don’t they. That looked like a lovely town you visited. Thanks for taking us with you xx
Thank you ❤️ yes that’s what they say, so I should be ok now hahaha. Oh it’s a lovely town, some very nice shops and cafes, and it’s always nice to meet up with Tina 🌹❤️🌹
Hi Lynn. Clitheroe looks lovely and quaint. Really enjoyed your vlog. Nice to see Tina and yourself spending some time together. Goodness that is so annoying, getting yourself hyped up to find nothing is going to happen. Perhaps in hindsight in view of yourself and son having procedures, it’s been a blessing. Thanks for sharing Lynn, see you very soon xxxx😘😘
It is Tina, and it’s always nice having a catch up with Tina. Well they say everything happens for a reason don’t they. Thank you for watching lovely lady 🌹❤️🌹
Hi Lynn, I love Clitheroe, I’ve booked to go to 2 shops there in July for mother of bride outfits with my close friend 🤞 then on somewhere after to eat. I hope next week is better for you xx
Oh lovely, my daughter got her wedding dress from there, and there’s more than q shops so I’m sure you’ll find something beautiful. Have a fabulous day while you’re there. 🌹❤️🌹
Oh Lynn what a palaver..hopefully all wil start going to plan from now onwards.🙏🏼what a lovely town that is ….no wonder Tina wanted to revisit….wish it were near me….I’m in a outskirt London borough….. Hope your scan and injection go well. Thanks for sharing, take care 🌸
Hi Lynn what a week u have had with shingles injection and sunbed hope all is good for injection on Tuesday will put your mind at rest when u get it. Hope u are having a nice weekend and thank you for the car chat really enjoyed this video 😊
Aw thank you Eileen, it’s just been that kinda week, we all get them, I don’t linger on things, I’m soon back to my happy self lol. Fingers crossed I got it all over in one week haha ❤️🌹❤️
Thanks for all your lovely chats Lynn. What a week you had. Full of all sorts and ups and downs. I have relatives in Clitheroe but haven’t actually been to the town. It looks a really nice place. I’ll be interested in the results of your scan. I’ve looked at doing that. I hope your shingles jab goes ahead today and you don’t get too poorly afterwards. I’m in the midst of a really bad cold and sinusitis. There’s always something to bother us it seems. But you cheer me up 😀😀🥰 xxx
Oh you’re welcome Carole, I love chatting. Yes we all get weeks like that now and then don’t we. Oh well if you visit them you must pop to town and have a look. The only thing they didn’t scan was my heart, it’s a different machine, you can have it done as an extra, but we didn’t know, so we hadn’t booked it, I’m going to book it on for the next visit in 6 months. They were very thorough, and the scan man said all my arteries were flowing nicely. I haven’t got my report as yet, so I’m looking forward to the results. I’ve just got back from town, and yea I got my jab…. Aw I’m sorry you’re not feeling good, I hope it doesn’t linger. I’ve just filmed a car chat on the way home 🏠❤️❤️❤️🌹
Oh Lynn you make me laugh so funny. I would not be pleased if I have travelled to get injection and not on list and having a sunbed standing around without clothes and short changed too. Can't believe you went to Tesco and didn't have something from F&F, well done!! I'm sure you will make up for it next time. Have a lovely Bank Holiday. Take care x
Everything went to pot that week hahaha, it happens to us all from time to time Milly. It’s not often is it that I don’t get something in Tesco, the security man said, are you sure you want to leave hahaha 🤣 I already have Milly, you’ll see on a future haul 🤣🤣🤣❤️🌹❤️
6:43 Hi loved the video that wine shop wow I’m going thankyou for sharing would never have known about it you have some lovely places in Lancashire looking forward to more of your excursions please
You are so welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed it. If you do go, they have another shop much bigger about a 5 minute walk from away, well worth a visit, and also I would choose a market day so that you can visit that as well, all is in short distances away from each other. 🌹❤️🌹
Hi Lynn. I really enjoyed your video as always you’re such a lovely lady and so down to earth. I feel like I’m having a nice cuppa with a lovely friend listening to you. I’m so sorry to hear about the carry on with the shingles vaccine fingers crossed 🤞 you get it tomorrow. I have days and weeks like that too where nothing seems to go right so sorry to hear you had one of those weeks. Hope everything went ok on Thursday at your scan and hope you had a lovely lunch out and day out with your son? I love a chatty video like this and I loved seeing you with Tina I watch Tina’s Channel and love her content too I found her channel from you so thank you. Have a lovely bank holiday Monday 🥰💕💕
Thank you Sandra, well that’s the best I could wish for because I feel like I’m talking to friends. I’ll ring before I set off tomorrow just to double check. Oh it’s ok, I soon get over it Sandra. I had a beautiful, lunch, it was delicious, he takes me to some lovely places. Aw Tina’s an absolute gem, she really is, so good to watch and funny at times. Thank you and much love to you 🌹❤️🌹
The most positive thing out of the whole week was meeting Tina, what a great tonic for the week and i hope you two bought some wine after all of those bottles to choose from. Enjoy 🍷🍾🥂
No I didn’t Gina hahaha I’m not really a wine drinker, I may have the odd glass every blue moon, I’d rather have a cup,of tea ☕️, and it was so lovely meeting Tina, she’s fabulous ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn what a lovely place. There was lots of lovely shops there.oh I’d of gone mad that’s not good enough.could only happen to you Lynn.xx those arm band things I got from Temu. I think you should go to bed try again tomorrow lol.😊
It is lovely, we didn’t film all of it, too busy chatting lol 😂 oh there was more that went wrong lol, but we all get times like that don’t we, I’m sure this next week will be fine. I’ve got 2 more Temu hauls coming up, but I forgot to look for those wrist bands 🤦🏼♀️🌹❤️🌹
Hi Lynn, what a week! Next week will be better. It was great to see some footage of my home town Clitheroe. I'll be over for 10 days from June 12th and so looking forward to it. I know both of the shops you mentioned really well. I went to school with both of the owners. You also had lunch at my favourite location. I always meet my friends there. I'll go over to Tina's now. Best of luck for Friday. ❤
Aw Christine, you are from Clitheroe, how lovely, well I hope the sun shines for you when you come to visit. Yes it’s my favourite place to have lunch when I go there. Thank you so much, and have a lovely time when your here ❤️🌹❤️
Good morning Lynn, lovely video as aways lot's of different content. You always make me smile😊, how disappointing you couldn't get your shingles jab! But you seemed to have done a good bit of shopping so not a wasted journey, 😊😊❤
No not wasted Liz, I made the most of it lol, had to be done, the danger is going back on Tuesday hahaha, I’ll be back in those shops, nothing more certain 🤦🏼♀️❤️🌹❤️
You deserve a bit of a rant with a week like that. There are times in life when you feel like ‘stop the world I want to get off’! Take your own advice Lynne, and sit down and make a brew. I try to say goodbye to that day, have a good sleep, and expect another day to be different. The video was not boring as I think all the viewers will relate to having days like you, and sometimes just talking about everyday events is comforting. I have seen Tina’s video of your meet up in Clitheroe. It looked like an interesting town. I live in the South Manchester area so may take a trip there this summer, and get some sausages! Thank you for another vlog, or ‘clog’!
Good advice Hazel, thank goodness the aren’t a regular occurrence, anyway I don’t dwell, just a quick rant, then it’s over lol. Oh not too far away then Hazel, worth a trip on a sunny day for sure, and the train station is right at the heart of it so fabulous ❤️🌹❤️
Lynn, I'm going to have one of those arterial scans, too. I think it's a great idea, but my medical insurance won't cover it. I love that you and Tina are such good friends. You're both lovely!
Yes I would 100%, finding problems early enough means that we avoid more serious stuff later on. The NHS are reactive instead of proactive, doesn’t make sense to me, but there we are. Aw we just got on immediately, she’s so lovely ❤️🌹❤️
Hello Lynn. What an up and down week! Lovely time with Tina and then the disappointment and frustration with the shingles vaccine. I noticed your pretty necklace. Is that the same as the one you lost when you had the heart monitor fitted? 🌻💖
Yes it was quite a rollercoaster. Aw meeting Tina is always such a pleasure, I actually found my necklace in the coat pocket that I wore, 🤦🏼♀️so that was lucky 🍀❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn Oh gosh that would be annoying about the shingles injection, and the sun bed. They have been prohibited in Australia because of cancer. Looks like a beaut time with Tina. Have a beaut time with your son, I'm the same l don't get much time with mine. Take care. Much love.❤❤
Oh I didn’t know that, maybe it’s because you have a lot of sun there as well, and skin cancer is on the rise. Aw i had a lovely time both with Tina, and then my son, fabulous. It’s so nice just to get one on one with our kids isn’t it. Much love to you too ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn. Enjoyed that vlog, nice mixture. Cant believe that with Superdrug, not good enough really is it. i have just had my second shingles vaccination. Hope all will be-good with your tests in Manchester. See you on the next vlog xx❤❤❤
Oh dear Lynn dont you hate when things youve booked are basically computer era. I would have been annoyed travelling half hour to be told youre not booked grrr❤
Thank you June, it’s not good enough really, but no point dwelling on it, I’m sure it’ll go well on Tuesday when I go back, and I get to go shopping again, every cloud eh. I’m so happy you got your second dose, that should keep you safe. ❤️🌹❤️
So….lets take the super out of Superdrug Lynne. I’ve had my first vaccine got to wait like you said for 6 months to pass before I can get the final one. I did have a sore arm the next few days but that’s the only side effect, sure you’ll be fine. Hope your well and thanks for the video. ❤
Yes let’s lol, bluperdrug more like haha…I’m supposed to get mine on Tuesday, so fingers crossed. I can cope with a sore arm, no worries. I think maybe even the first one gives us some kind of immunity to it, I think you can still get shingles, just a milder dose. I hope we never do though. Much love and enjoy tomorrow ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn, I had already seen Tina's video of your day out together in Clitheroe. It's a lovely little place to go for a catch up with friends, or a browse on my own. What peculiar happenings for you this week, sometimes nothing goes right😂😂. A good job you have a sense of humour and won't be put off. Take care, love Jean ❤❤xx
Hi Jean, yes it’s a nice change to have a wander in Clitheroe, I just have to take my time with the hills, achy leg, the market wasn’t on that day and just now they’re doing something with the road as you could see, so it wasn’t showing the best of it really. We went in the emporium for lunch, and then we sat in the castle right across from the train station while it was time for Tina’s train. My sense of humour has carried me through many situations, I got it from my mum, lol have a lovely rest of the BH weekend Jean, much love ❤️🌹❤️
Well it was the man that will be administering it that I spoke to, and he assured me that my appointment is booked with him, but I might ring just to check that the vaccine has arrived 🌹❤️🌹 good idea ❤️
Hi Lynn, I fair enjoy your clogs 😂 Clitheroe looks lovely and that wine shop was huge. The place you had lunch with Tina looked so nice. She's a lovely lady like yourself 😊 omg i cant believe the price for shingles jab 🤯 and then again in 6 months. Im going for second one 22nd June, not looking forward to it as my arm was aching for days but i suppose that's better than the pain you suffered with it 😢 I got letter and was lucky as I was 65...can't understand why they cant just jab everyone after a certain age? Hope you had a good trip with your son and everything went ok? Love your nails 💅 im getting mine done tomorrow. Its a miserable bank holiday here weather wise but enjoy your weekend lovely lady ❤❤❤
Hahaha thank you Sandra. They have another shop that’s much bigger in the same town, she said it’s massive. Yes the restaurant is really nice, it’s called the emporium, and Tina is so lovely. I’m glad you got your injection, and a sore arm is worth it my love, you don’t want shingles. It’s all down to money Sandra, but how they decided that you can have it at 65, but not at 67 is beyond me. I get the results in a week or so, but what the scanned all looked good they said, just need a few more tests. Have a lovely BH Monday 🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️🌹
Hi Lynne lovely vlog Clitheroe was very interesting the wine shop was impressive. Sorry you had a bit of an unlucky week but it will make it more enjoyable when you have a lucky week."swings and roundabout s.❤❤
Hello Lynn, I love your ‘clogs’. Good a place for a roundup of the days doings and a rant or two. Clitheroe looks like a really lovely little town, I do manage to get up your way once or twice a year so I must visit Clitheroe next time. I thought the shingle injection was only about £80 so I nearly fell over when you said it was £220!! I just missed out of the free one at the GP. but I still will get one, I saw how poorly you were when you had it. Also, I didn’t know you could have a scan for checking for clogged arteries, I’m very interested in that as I had a heart bypass 5 years ago and I would like to see what’s going on with my arteries now. Anyway, nearly 6,000 subs, fabulous!!! Well deserved! My cuppa has gone cold so I’m off for another, have a good weekend, bye for now, love from Sandra x❤
It’s surprising how you can offload in the car when you’re driving, I love a good clog hahaha. If you do, I would choose a market day, it’s only small, but very cute. No £220, and then again in 6 months. Oh it will be worth every penny to me, so I’m glad you’re going to get it done. Yes, it was a private clinic in Manchester, the only thing they didn’t scan was my heart, but they can do it, it’s a different machine. They did both sides of my neck, abdomen, groins, legs, back of the knees and ankles, amazing. I’m booking the heart one when I go back in 6 months. It was a cardiologist surgeon that did the consultation, she also works for the NHS as well. Then I had to go on an exercise bike, all wired up like you are when they check you for a heart attack, and it’s really thorough. They do a blood test, and test for 30 different things. She sends me a report, and writes a letter for the GP if any action needs to be taken, it’s marvellous, and gives you peace of mind. She said I need a heart monitor for 72mhrs, as 24hr is not long enough, so she’s sending me a letter to take to the GP for that. They do all kinds of things there, MRI as well. The one I went to was called Tomorrow screening, I think it’s part of the Nuffield Health Organisation. My advice would be to have it done if you can, the NHS are reactive, they aren’t proactive, so we need to look after ourselves if we are fortunate enough to be able to. My son sorted it all out for me, and I’m so glad we went. Not far off now, I’m at 5968 woo woo. Have a lovely weekend my love ❤️🌹❤️
Thank you so much for that information, I will definitely go for that test asap. You are so right when you say we have to look after ourselves, but it’s not an ideal situation is it, it’s not right really. I’m so grateful for your information and taking me seriously, thank you so much. I’m waiting to hear how your MRI scan results went now. Take care, love from Sandra x
@@TheYorkshirelady Hi Sandra, I got an appointment yesterday for the 4th July to go for an Echocardiogram, this is all from the stint in AE, so I’m wondering if that’s the same test that I didn’t get done at the private health check. Anyway, whichever, at least I’m getting checked out. Let me know Sandra, if you go, and how you get on please. Good luck with everything, I’ll keep my fingers crossed that all is ok for you ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn, Great video as usual. I liked the look of Clitheroe, it looks really nice! I live in Edinburgh, there are lots of beautiful places in England I would like to visit now I’m retired, so I will definitely visit Clitheroe for a weekend in the summer when it eventually arrives lol I’m curious? Maybe I missed something, but why do you have to pay to have your shingles vaccine? If you’re over 65 you can get it free on the NHS.
Oh yes there are, we live in a very beautiful country don’t we. Yes it’s lovely in summer, lots of places to eat outside, and perhaps pick market day. No I can’t get it on the NHS, the rule is, if you turn 65 on or after September 23, yes you can have it, if you are 70 or older yes you can have it, if you were already 65 but not 70 no you can’t, it’s stupid. That’s why I’m paying for it, it’s ridiculous isn’t it ❤️🌹❤️
@@Nanna-M That is ridiculous! Honestly! I sometimes wonder about the mentality of the person or person’s that make up those stupid rules? I’ve had shingles before, so I’m not going to bother having the vaccine, I will be 70 in 2025. Chances are I wouldn’t get it as bad having already had it before anyway. But that’s only my thoughts on it, I could be wrong. I had shingles in 2004 touch wood I’ve never had it again so far 🤞🏼🥰
Oh I enjoyed this vlog, but how annoying when well made plans go wrong you do feel like the world is against you , but you just smile through it . I love Clitheroe especially for Booths and Dawsons . I enjoy watching Tina, she always makes me smile , as do you , hope you get sorted with your jab next week and that all is well with your scan, I have bruises, one on each arm , door handles I think . take care xx
Yes it is, but I’m over it in minutes, I don’t dwell, and of course every cloud, I can go shopping again on Tuesday after my vaccine haha. Oh Tina’s so lovely, she makes me laugh. My bruises are because of medication, I always have them. Hope you have a nice BH Monday 🌹❤️🌹
@Nanna-M medication with me to Lynn , I don't ever know how they got there I just guess by where they are on my body , today's ones are door handle hight x
Oh Lynne, I would have been livid... having made the journey and paying for the privilege... to be told you're not on the system! 🤬 What is becoming of our NHS? Like you, I'm a retired RGN and it makes me so cross how we are being treated. Anyway, rant over... I'm just going over to watch Tina now, so thank you for your video, you'll be glad that week is over! Have a lovely Sunday 😁 ❤️
Yes I was for a few minutes, and then I took a deep breath and started shopping haha. The world’s gone to pot, NHS is in crisis, a total mess. I’m hoping I got it all, over in one go, lol, onwards and upwards this week. Have a lovely rest of the BH my friend, take care ❤️🌹❤️
Oh it is Kim, a nice day out in summer. Well it’s just my luck that, flipping system blips, so annoying, but every cloud, I get to shop again on Tuesday hahaha 🤣
Wow...a dozen eggs for £1.50...our eggs here in NZ are around $15.00 a dozen (depending on where you buy them) which is roughly £7.50. I can't believe hope cheap things are there. Enjoyed your video as always. 😃
OMG, really, I’m sorry I told you wrong, it’s £1.50 for 6, £2.50 for 12, and £2.00 for 6 duck eggs. You probably earn bigger salaries than we do here to compensate, but never the less, that’s a massive difference. Our supermarkets are more expensive, but these are from some neighbours that have a few chickens and ducks. They are delicious. Thank you ❤️🌹❤️
Nothing worse than when you have to ring the supermarket, tell them they missed scanning some items and having to pay for them over the phone .. I had that in both the Coop and Tescos last week ..must e something wrong with there machines
My gp said I didn’t need a shingles vaccination as I’ve already had them, albeit it was when I was 13 years old and I’m now 73. I definitely think it depends on your gp and where you live 🙄. Love your videos, thank you 😊.
I only wish I’d been able to have a shingles injection but unfortunately due to my health issues I wasn’t advised to have it. So guess what I’ve ended up with full blown shingles. It is one of the worst painful viruses you could possibly have. I’d rather go through labour pains than this. I just hope this goes quickly as I can’t believe the agony it causes.
Oh Sue, I feel so sorry for you, did you get the tablets in time from your gp. Where have you got it Sue? OMG I’m sending you so much love, and I do hope it disappears quicker than mine did. I know it’s agony on another level ❤️🌹❤️
@@Nanna-M hi Lynn, I’ve been and still am in a bad way. A week ago today I had to go to A&E with the worst pain/ ache round my right side from middle of my back to the middle of my tummy. I thought I was going to pass out with the pain. They thought I had a kidney stone but a CT scan showed nothing. The rash came out on the Tuesday so Wednesday the doctor gave me antiviral tablets. I’ve also got Gabapentin so I’m hoping they help me. I’ve hardly slept as it’s still so painful. Being older (75) makes it worse. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
@@suehemmings5200 oh Sue, I feel so sorry for you, I really do, it’s horrendous, I’m so glad you got the medication, I didn’t get it in time so unfortunately for me it lasted ages, I’ve never known anything like it. Mine was the same, from my belly button all the way round to my spine, from my groin all the way up to under my boobs, absolute agony, it’s relentless. Oh Sue, I could cry for you. I really hope you get some relief from the tablets… I’m sending you all the love and bests wishes for a speedy recovery, I know you wouldn’t want a hug, too painful. 😥❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M thankyou Lynn for your kind wishes. I just hope something works before long as I take co codamol for hip pain and that helps for a few hours with my dreadful backache which I’m not sure is connected to shingles so that worries me too. Anyway once again thank you for your sympathy ❤️❤️❤️
Morning Lynn blimey what a week 😂 we all get them sgs 😂 hope everything is good from scans and MRI Lynn I couldn't believe it when you said how much the injection was and then you couldn't have it nothing seems to be organised properly these days and computers if they go wrong , hope you are having a lovely weekend Lynn take care and lots of love 💕💕💕😘 xxx
Oh we do don’t we Coral, every now and again. I just couldn’t believe how that could happen, I had confirmation texts and everything. Hope you do too my lovely, let’s pray for sunshine ❤️🌹❤️
I have had three attempts at watching your lovely vlog but got interrupted each time. It was a fab bits and bibs video. Hope your wrist is better and you have had your jab.
Oh it happens like that sometimes. Thank you Tina, my wrist still sore, got the jab yesterday £225, get my next one in July. My arms a tad sore but that will go in a couple of days I’m sure. Did you find a table in Harrogate.
Morning Lynn, what a week! Clitheroe looked lovely, so pretty! How annoying about the jab! Especially when you have to gear yourself up for something like that. Loving the clog!
Morning Rhi, thank you. It is a lovely quaint little town, as for the jab, so so frustrating, but not long to wait now. I watched your video early hours, but haven’t commented yet, I like the cropped T shirt idea xx
Hi Lynne, I was also booked for a shingles jab then received a text saying I wasn’t entitled. Have to be either 65 or over 70 for some strange reason. I missed it by 3 months, being 66.
Same as me Sal, that’s why I’m paying for it private, I never ever want shingles again, it’s agony. But what a ridiculous state of affairs it is, NHS has gone to pot ❤️🌹❤️
I think the Universe was telling you to stay home and relax, read a good book, recharge your batteries and take care of yourself and maybe even that 9 mins on a sunbed may be too long. It could trigger the shingles. Just a thought.🤔 Take care❤
Hi Lynn. I'm abit confused as to why you are paying for your shingles jab, I had mine at the surgery, also I wasn't told that I have to have another one in six months. Forgot to say, that the surgery contacted me. xx
I finished chemo in December, I was 67 yesterday and the doctor said just cos you have a history of breast cancer does not mean you are entitled to the jab. My husband and I were shocked, we were sure I could. He has had it but he is 75. He is second time around, not my original husband. But we have been together 23 years.
Oh Mazz, I can’t believe that your GP said that to you, I’m shocked. You have a weakened immune system so you should get it, I would ring 111 and ask their advice, or the hospital where you had the chemo, I’m disgusted. I’m happy that your hubby got it, but I feel for you, I really do….😞😢❤️❤️❤️
By now you will have had your shingles vaccine, hope you are feeling okay. I know I should have it, but I'm scared of the bad side effects. How are you feeling? xx
Hi, yes I got it yesterday, I feel ok except a bit of a sore arm. He did say I would get one, and possible headaches, I took 2 paracetamols in the middle of the night because I couldn’t lie on my left side, which is how I normally sleep, also I have to stay away from anyone that’s pregnant for 6 weeks. I get my second dose in July. In my case I don’t feel ill in any way Michele. What is it that frightens you my love 🌹❤️🌹
@@Nanna-M a friend had a sore arm and the flu for a couple of days. She says she got hair loss from it. I don't know what to think. xx Glad you're okay.
@@xMichelex well you have to do what’s right for you, all I can say is that I wouldn’t wish the dose of shingles that I had, on my worst enemy, it was absolute torture 🌹❤️🌹
So sorry Lynn, just wasn’t your week, better luck next week.As I told you before I had shingles a few years ago, though mine was really not very bad, anyway I have asked my doctor several times about the vaccine, and she just sort of poo poos it,no idea why,as she always makes sure I have the flu vaccine. The shingles vaccine is free,at age 65,and so is any other shots the APIC recommends, Including the flu shot. Most insurance also covers shingles vaccine ,which they recommend you take when you are 50.
Yes, onwards and upwards Janet. I’m not sure why she poo poos it, because it’s shocking if you get a bad dose like I did. I wish it was free here, it is if you turn 65 after September 23, or if you are 70 and above, but in between no. Stupid I know. 🌹❤️🌹
What a week you had, don’t they make life complicated with one thing and another nothing seems straightforward since Covid hit. After seeing how poorly you were with shingles I made an appointment to have the jab. I waited ages for an appointment only to be told by the Doctor when I got there that I’d already had it, they combined it with the flu jab 2 years ago. I felt such a fool. I did ask if I needed another but was told No it lasted a lifetime. Hope you get it all sorted soon xx
Oh Rita, haha, well if they’d have been clearer you would have known, honestly it’s like the secret service sometimes, the patient is the last to know. At least you got it phew. My appointment is on Tuesday so 🤞🙏🏻🤦🏻♀️🌹❤️🌹
Oo lovely car blog! Can't understand why you having to pay for shingles. I had mine when I was 70 at the GP surgery for free. They only do it at certain times & only fir 70tr olds. No no sickness after. All it will do is stop you getting bad with it. Its one of those viruses. Now its in your body & could kick in anytime again. You must have had chickenpox as a girl!
Thank you Linda, I know, it’s not good is it, especially as I had such a bad dose of it, but never mind, I’ve had my first one now, my arms sore, but that’s all. I’ll be on that phone pronto if I ever get it again, I’ll be like demanding Debbie asking for the antiviral medication. ❤️
Hi Lynn why cant you get your shingles vaccination at the doctors. Not sure your age, but I have read if you are turned 65 on the 1st September 2023 you are eligible for the shingles jab!! Hope you are good love your vlogs thank you for sharing.
Unfortunately not, I’ve asked, if you turn 65 you can, if your 70 you can, but if you are already 65 before September no you can’t, stupid I know, but that’s the gist of it. It’s all about cost to the NHS. Anyway I get mine on Tuesday 🙏🏻🤞 hope nothing goes wrong with this appointment ❤️🌹❤️
That is awful what you have went through trying to get your shingles vaccine, also because you are not 70, you have to pay for it, disgraceful. Enjoyed your day with Tina, I subscribed to Tina’s channel shortly after I subscribed to yours, she is lovely. Forgive me but I laughed until I nearly had a wee accident with all your mishaps, it’s your facial expressions and the way you just shrug it off. I had my vaccine for shingles, six months apart, they notified me for the second one. I felt a bit off after my first one so maybe as well you never got it until after your day out with your son, hope all goers well, take care ❤xx💉
Hi Jean, it’s ridiculous isn’t it, I’m going back tomorrow, so fingers crossed it’s straight forward this time. Yes she certainly is, such a sweetheart. No I don’t mind you laughing, I laugh myself hahaha. I might just get a sore arm for a few days, or knowing my luck lately it’ll drop off hahaha 🤣 much love to you Jean ❤️🌹❤️
Watching this on Bank Holiday Monday, did you say your
injection booked for tomorrow, good luck.
Hi Lynn I really like your car vlogs keep em coming. Have a lovely day in Manchester with your son ❤️🤗🥰
Thanks so much Maria, we went on Friday, i filmed this vlog last week. ❤️🌹❤️
Sometimes it feels like nothing goes right, it’s very frustrating, I’m sorry for what you’re going through.❤❤
Oh I’m fine Billie, we all have weeks like that, I don’t dwell ❤️🌹❤️
Thank you xx
Oh Lynn what a palaver..hopefully all wil start going to plan from now onwards.🙏🏼what a lovely town that is ….no wonder Tina wanted to revisit….wish it were near me….I’m in a outskirt London borough…..
Hope your scan and injection go well.
Thanks for sharing, take care 🌸
I know, never mind, I’m sure it will be fine when I go back. It is lovely, very cute. Thank you Jacquline, and you take care too ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn what a week u have had with shingles injection and sunbed hope all is good for injection on Tuesday will put your mind at rest when u get it.
Lynn the same happened to me when I was due for my covid injection and I had travelled half a hour in an area I didn't know
Oh Maureen, it’s so frustrating, and people are just so nonchalant about it as well 🌹❤️🌹
Good luck next week Lynn. Start again. !! Hope you get sorted. Enjoy the weekend.,. Take care. X❤
Thank you Susan, I’m sure I will 🌹❤️🌹
Thanks for all your lovely chats Lynn.
@@Nanna-M Great to get those positive results Lynn. That’s really good news for you. 😃❤ xx
Oh dear Lynn, what a week! Hopefully next week will be better for you. Great to see you and Tina are friends and that you meet up. ❤❤❤
I hope so too Mary. Yes we meet up regularly now, it’s lovely 🌹❤️🌹
Have a lovely weekend Lynn. Better luck next week with getting your shingles vaccination🩵❣️🤞
Fingers crossed! No more delays, thank youuuuu ❤️🌹❤️
Thank you and much love to you 🌹❤️🌹
Great video 😂. I have a tea towel that states. Sometimes your the statue and sometimes the pigeon. Definitely a statue week for you. X
Hahaha that’s so funny, yes I was well and truly pooped on 🌹❤️🌹
Oh lynn,i hope you have a better week next week😊❤
I’m sure I will do thank you ❤️🌹❤️
The most positive thing out of the whole week was meeting Tina, what a great tonic for the week and i hope you two bought some wine after all of those bottles to choose from.
Thank you so much, and have a lovely time when your here ❤️🌹❤️
Thanks Lynn @@Nanna-M
Hi Lynn a good rant a cuppa its only way tomorrow is another day❤your vlogs enjoy your day with Tina take care lovely xx
Exactly Yvonne ❤️ and we had a lovely time, we always do ❤️🌹❤️
LOL, building up your stock of PJs again! Really enjoyed your 'clog' x
Haha just one pair Alison, be rude not to ❤️🌹❤️🤦🏼♀️
Good morning Lynn, lovely video as aways lot's of different content.
Hi Lynn sorry about your week going wrong but have a lovely weekend and hope next week is better for you ❤
Oh it’s fine Morag, it happens to us all now and again ❤️🌹❤️
Oh dear Lynn, hope this week goes better for you xx
I’m sure it will lol 😂❤️🌹❤️
Lynn hope your have a better week I will be back to see you video ❤
I hope so too, and thank you Alana ❤️🌹❤️
Lynn, I'm going to have one of those arterial scans, too. I think it's a great idea, but my medical insurance won't cover it. I love that you and Tina are such good friends. You're both lovely!
Yes I would 100%, finding problems early enough means that we avoid more serious stuff later on. The NHS are reactive instead of proactive, doesn’t make sense to me, but there we are. Aw we just got on immediately, she’s so lovely ❤️🌹❤️
Hello Lynn. What an up and down week! Lovely time with Tina and then the disappointment and frustration with
the shingles vaccine.
How lucky was that!
You must have been so pleased. It's always looks lovely with your outfits. ❤️🌻
Much love to you too ❤️🌹❤️
I really enjoyed your travels in this vlog.
Glad you enjoyed it Valerie 🌹❤️🌹
I know, but I was over it as soon as I went in the next shop hahaha 🤣❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn, really enjoyed watching. I watch Tina, you’re both lovely ladies. Loved the clog too! 😂 xx ❤
Haha Glad you enjoyed it 🌹❤️🌹
So….lets take the super out of Superdrug Lynne.
What a palaver of a week you’ve had. I would check with Superdrug on Tuesday before you set off that they are expecting you. Have a good BH Monday 💕
Well it was the man that will be administering it that I spoke to, and he assured me that my appointment is booked with him, but I might ring just to check that the vaccine has arrived 🌹❤️🌹 good idea ❤️
Oh Lynn what chaos over the injection 😮 x
Hope you go on ok on Friday with the scan x
Lovely day out with Tina x
Oh it was so unorganised. Fingers crossed, I think it was all ok…yes, Tina’s very east to be with, no fuss, just a lovely day 🌹❤️🌹
Hello a great video I really enjoyed it 👍I hope you have a fab week sending lots of love ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you! You too Nicole ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn what a week you had, we do get them now and again, love your videos, ❤ Anne
Oh thank you Anne, yes we do, it’s all part of life ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn, I fair enjoy your clogs 😂 Clitheroe looks lovely and that wine shop was huge.
Hoping you have a better week next week ❤
I hope so too! Thank you 🌹❤️🌹
Hi Lynne lovely vlog Clitheroe was very interesting the wine shop was impressive. Sorry you had a bit of an unlucky week but it will make it more enjoyable when you have a lucky week."swings and roundabout s.❤❤
Absolutely, it was just my turn, I don’t dwell on things, a quick rant and I’m done lol hope you have a nice BH ❤️🌹❤️
❤.... Just sing "thing's can only get better" Lynn, very topical at the moment too😅xx
Haha, it wasn’t all bad, just a few moments 🤦🏼♀️ but I’ll remember that song haha ❤️🌹❤️
Great video Lynn. Clitheroe looks like my kind of place. ❤❤
It’s cute 🌹❤️🌹
The Clitheroe Kids!! Looks a lovely little town! Xx
It really is Nicolle, lovely 🌹❤️🌹
Good luck with everything, I’ll keep my fingers crossed that all is ok for you ❤️🌹❤️
Thank you Lynn,.❤
❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn, Great video as usual.
I liked the look of Clitheroe, it looks really nice! I live in Edinburgh, there are lots of beautiful places in England I would like to visit now I’m retired, so I will definitely visit Clitheroe for a weekend in the summer when it eventually arrives lol
I’m curious?
@@DianeWhyte the world has gone mad, anyway I hope you never get it again, once is too much ❤️

@@Nanna-M Round 2 😂

I’m not sure if it wasn’t the girl on the checkout, she seemed a bit slapdash to be honest. It’s the first time it’s happened to me. 🌹❤️🌹
My gp said I didn’t need a shingles vaccination as I’ve already had them, albeit it was when I was 13 years old and I’m now 73. I definitely think it depends on your gp and where you live 🙄.
Love your videos, thank you 😊.
Aw thank you Penelope, I think you are right, all GPs think differently, I hope you never get it again ❤️🌹❤️ ❤️🌹❤️
I’ve also got Gabapentin
so I’m hoping they help me.

Thanku lovely as usual xxx❤❤❤
Thank youuuu ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynne, I was also booked for a shingles jab then received a text saying I wasn’t entitled. Have to be either 65 or over 70 for some strange reason. I missed it by 3 months, being 66.
Same as me Sal, that’s why I’m paying for it private, I never ever want shingles again, it’s agony. But what a ridiculous state of affairs it is, NHS has gone to pot ❤️🌹❤️
It has. I had no immunity to chicken pox so paid privately to have that and just hoping I don't get shingles after seeing what you went through xx
A lovely vlog ❤️
❤️🌹❤️
❤🎉 for you. 😊
❤️🌹❤️ thank you 🌹❤️🌹
What a load of messing about for you Lynn. Hope all went well in Manchester xx
Thank you Katie, I’m waiting for the report, but I think all seemed ok 👍 xx

Tina is looking great ❤
Isn’t she just ❤️🌹❤️
I think the Universe was telling you to stay home and relax, read a good book, recharge your batteries and take care of yourself and maybe even that 9 mins on a sunbed may be too long. It could trigger the shingles. Just a thought.🤔
Take care❤
Perhaps your right Karen, let’s see what this next week brings, peace and quiet would be welcome lol ❤️🌹❤️

Hi Lynn. I'm abit confused as to why you are paying for your shingles jab, I had mine at the surgery, also I wasn't told that I have to have another one in six months. Forgot to say, that the surgery contacted me. xx
It’s down to how old you are Jeanette, are you 65 ?

@@Nanna-M Yes, I certainly don't want to go through that. I felt terrible for you.

The shingles vaccine is free,at age 65,and so is any other shots the APIC recommends,
Including the flu shot.

Thank you Kathy ❤️🌹❤️
My appointment is on Tuesday so 🤞🙏🏻🤦🏻♀️🌹❤️🌹
.Lynn look at the carbs not so much the calories it's that that puts weight on I have to watch that because I am diabetic
Oh thank you Maureen, I will do 🌹❤️🌹

Your too funny 😂❤xx
