Awesome could have done with you going bit further and taken the heater control panel out.
This would help mk3 owners a lot as its common for the lights to go behind there and there is a great led set you can get with instructions from ebay UK seller.

Guys is this how you would change the bulbs for the heater control please

Yes, after removing the trim shown in the video you would then need to remove the heater control panel to then be able to change the bulbs.
