Yellow has always been my favorite color but I rarely wear it as polish because of my medium skin tone. I feel like I need a bit more contrast. However I do have a few that I love and this video reminded me to get them out and wear them! One is Bluebird shattered holo spring polish from a few years back and the other is Wildflower Sunflower.
I have the 2 Cirque Colors ones as minis. I think they're both fine and Citrine is especially nice even though I'm not super fond of holo. I prefer yellows that are a bit more warm, or anything that won't blend into my skin tone (Fenty 310). I love this video series, thank you!
I love yellow polishes! I even wear the ones that are unflattering on my skin tone, I don’t care. It’s such a happy color. Emily de Molly trips abroad is my all time fave
I have a mini of Trompe L’Oeil, I should try it out and see if it’s worthy of getting a full bottle so I can before it’s too late!! 😱 I have Cirque Citrine and plan to wear it in November for my birthday month. I bought a ton of Facets polishes when they were being discontinued last year and have no regrets. The finish is PHENOMENAL. A few of my favorite yellows: Hearts & Promises “A Pineapple Under the Sea” June ‘24 PPU, DAM “Mr Golden Sun” (facebook group custom from 2023), Polished For Days “High Voltage”, Pahlish Killer Queen (pride 2023 mystery)
I wish I would have gotten more facets. Especially Garnet and Emerald! PFD High Voltage is not my kind of yellow but I’ve been very tempted by everyone’s swatches and the rave reviews!
Dreamland’s Orange Slush that came out this Spring is the best orange I own. It is kind of a cousin to SYS. with a stunning pink shimmer on the bright orange base. I also have their Mickey Guillermo burnt orange linear holo, and it is perfect! Hearts and Promises made a brighter linear holo orange with pink shimmer, and I love it! I love watching all your videos!
I was waiting for you to say, "Nailed It, Pineapple Dole Whip!" I don't wear yellow very often, but I have a few favorites. Cirque Colors Hedonist and Starrily Radon are two quite different neon yellow creams. I also really like Night Owl Lacquer Buttercream and OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana. I also have a really pretty, but sheer yellow shimmer from Moonshine Mani, Strawberry Lemonade. I love to wear it over any/all of the 4 yellow creams I listed.
Great pics! My favorite colors are primitive - dark reds, navy blues, sage green, brown yellows. I don’t wear yellow much unless used as a base but I think it just doesn’t compliment a pale skin tone.

I’m still working my way through yellows but three of my favs are Mooncat: Demeter’s Harvest, Iscream Nails: Happy Place, Painted Polish: The Bee’s Knees and Rogue (Ppu Jan) Bleeding Hearts. I only have two Cirque polishes and Citrine is one of them! It was my first Halloween mani this year with an orange French tip. I didn't know they discontinued the Facets line, so I will have to baby my bottle and maybe wear it once a year. 😅

Yellow was my first favourite colour as a kid, so it's always been special to me, but like you I don't wear it nearly enough considering how much I love it! I would call Citrine like a marigold or even an amber? It's that kind of inbetweeny. A bit like Cirque Colors "Munchies". I'm a bit fussy with my yellows lol, as I never want to see green in there 😄 I definitely gravitate to sunshiney yellows, or rich shades like Essie Aim to Misbehave, and marigolds/ambers.
Shopmissa has a polish called Vacation that may be a dupe for Cirque Citrine. It's $1 though it's made in China. I really like it and just took it off today after one week. I love that you're wearing a yellow shirt in this video for yellow polish.
@@PolishwithRae All of their polishes are $1! I bought the entire lineup (of what was in stock). They have a purple shimmer that appears to look like some photos of Cirque's Velveteen too. I think it's called Borealis.
