This film documents Caroline Livesey's experience racing (and winning) the ultimate triathlon experience at the bottom of the world in Chilean Patagonia. This race has caught the imagination of the triathlon world and its mystical draw attracts triathletes and adventurers from all over the world to enter the lottery for a place. In this documentary Caroline shares key information to other athletes so they can have their best race - from how cold the water is to how to pace the bike course, this film is a must for all levels of triathlete who want to take on Triathlon's Wild Giant.
Title of the film: Did you know that the name "Patagonia" is thought to originally come from the word "patagon" which was used in the 1500's to describe the native tribes who populated the region then. Their average height was taller than Europeans at the time, and the area became legendary in Europe as the land of giants.
