The floorplan of the house is totally remarkable, as you enter the house you can see the Ante Sala (foyer) and the bedroom on the left, the receiving area, and as you pass to another foyer, the small living room and the nice hallway going thru dining room with a view of the terrace, I just hope the new owners learn more about the house and re arrange the furniture. A very good example of Art Nouveau Chalet. I love it.
Before, I never really dreamed of visiting other places. But now, I do! Nice Old House's in Negros has really caught my interest, and the Negrenses seem so warm and hospitable! Thank you sir Fern for sharing your adventure. :)

Salamat sa new owners at na preserba nila yung structure at yamang ganda ng bahay. Very striking yung sungay ng kalabaw sa wall. Malaking tulong sa'yo na meron kang assistance ng tourism Dept pra mas nabibisita mo yung mga ancestral houses. Ganda ng intro mo sa sugar plantation. Ingat sa byahe meron ppasok bagyo sa central Luzon this weekend
kaya siguro na amaze ako sa mga vlog mo po sir Fern is because everytime nakikita ko mga old houses it brings back old memories nun kabataan ko everytime magbakasyon or mag gather ang buong family (consist of 12 siblings) ng lolo ko. nakikita ko mga designs palang ng bahay same sa bahay ng lolo ko and during those times maaliwalas ang simoy ng hangin kahit wala kang electric fan although naabutan ko pa that time lampara or gasera pa lang gamit. sayang nga lang hindi na preserve ang lumang bahay.

that is a welcoming house because the stairs already encroached on the side walk, probably because the owner was a doctor who maybe used this house as his clinic at the same time and also the succeeding owner was once the mayor of La Carlota. Again, we have learned a lot from you Sir and of course, to my idol Negros historian Sir Raymond Alunan.
