Yeah, there's no way the entire population of Lordaeron could be evacuated by even the entire naval might of Alliance at its peak of power during the 2nd war. Also, it looked to Arthas like he and the Alliance could defeat the Scourge and they could've had Arthas not fallen prey to the corruption of Frostmourne and the Lich King so of course Arthas wasn't going to abandon Lordaeron.
Thrall listened to Medivh without much explanation or conflict either, and Medivh is a human in the eyes of Thrall, which he and his whole race had been enemies with. Medivh just showed up to Thrall in his vision dream and thats it, the Warchief made the RIGHT WISE choice. And so did Jaina. Arthas was just as blind and arrogant like his father Terenas, nd even Antonidas.
@@justinedc1077 Thrall did it all on a hunch, along with some guidance from the "elements". Really, it was Medivh's fault for being so vague with his doomcalling that caused the whole of Lordaeron to fall.
@@oneblacksun there is absolutely 0 reason for Thrall to listen to Medivh at the time. Medivh appearing as Human plus there was no major undead conflict then. The orcs was just chilling in Lordaeron in peace, there problems were but minor skirmishes with the Alliance capturing some of them like with Grom. Arthas had more reasons to trust the Prophet: 1. There was already a major war against the undead happening to his homeland, which was already spelling doom and chaos. 2. If Thrall has the spiritual elements to guide him, Arthas had the Holy Light. 3. Jaina, from the start, already sensed great power in Medivh and was trying to convince Arthas that the Prophet was right On the side note: Medivh couldnt just simply reveal his true identity to everyone for obvious reasons that everyone in the Alliance would remember him from the tales of Lothar, Varian, and the people from Stormwind as the Last Guardian that opened the Dark Portal and let the orcs enter Azeroth and caused all the entire wars of WC1 & WC2.

Arthas was Anakin but objectively better written. Also had some Arthurian elements thrown in, but instead of drawing a stone to save his people, he drew it and doomed them, and became king that way.
I'd like to see a skin of Arthas as a paladin with dialogue that fits his good guy self and a skin of him as his snarky death knight self. I liked both of those versions of him and they'd provide good dialogue. For example, his death knight self would have friendship laced dialogue with Kel'thuzad which makes me smile while his paladin self would interact well with the other Alliance characters. Paladin Arthas of course would hate his death knight, sword wielding and lich king versions and vice versa.
ryan macdonald Well this would be an arthas skin for the uther hero, because of the different powers, sadly that isnt possible because would get people confused of whom they are facing arthas or uther
@@girlgarde i guess it could work, but it needs to be really different from the prince arthas skin, maybe we can get a bolvar skin for the lich king too
My idea for Paladin Arthas is a simpler variant of his armour. One with "less details" and replaced with a humble one. This is to show that Prince Arthas is in his "Royal" Armour, while Paladin Arthas is in his original Armour.
"A murloc ally? What, were all the Furbolgs busy?!" That line is actually so in character it's pretty fucking funny, Arthas was a cocky bastard, but he always had a sense of humor.
@Dave8814 if you remember the scene when Arthas said " this entire village must be purged" she and others backed away from him. It hurt him because in his time of need when he looked at her very sadly and said "Jaina?" she said "I'm sorry Arthas I can't watch you do this" in that very moment he was confused and depressed because she left him at the worst moment when he needed her more than ever
@Dave8814 nah she isn't at that time as uther she was in shock because she didn't understand why he wanted to purge those people and as every human being she was afraid of looking the man whom she loved doing something so cruel and instead of stopping him and being with him she ran away

As a member of the Alliance, he's duties are not only to he's people, but to the benefit of the Alliance. Who saved them at their darkest hour? The Alliance, that they turned their backs on, in it's darkest time... Greymane is a dick.
Arthas only took his extreme actions like purging Stratholme and taking Frostmourne to HELP his people out. Also, Arthas only turned traitor because Frostmourne and the Lich King twisted his mind to make him evil and even then, Arthas was still capable of love, friendship and loyalty but it became directed to aiding the Scourge who he came to regard as his people. He only became a complete monster thanks to merging with the original Lich King. In contrast, Greymane made all of his mistakes originally because he couldn't be bothered to aid outsiders who saved his behind /during the 2nd war/ in their hour of need. Even Arthas never went that far when he was a living Human.
Greymange: “You betrayed your people, Arthas! There is no greater crime!” So remember how Genn was strictly anti-worgen until circumstances…”changed”? And how he swore to protect his people from that curse? That curse that he called a curse until he contracted it? Then it became a ‘blessing’? Hm. I’d think there’s no bigger crime than hypocrisy.

At least Lich King Arthas acts like what he's supposed to be, a complete monster but living Arthas with Frostmourne sucks every way possible.
