Thank you so much for the plushie! ❤🎉 and thanks to Callyann for the emotional support! ❤🎉
Great video, Do we get to keep these ? ♥️
I was so glad they sent you guys plushies.. you can't just send Bucc-ees stuff and not send a plushie
Are u irish
@@smashyrashy yes
Y’all killed it together. Vibes were immaculate
The reactions of receiving the little Buc-ees stuffed animals was a real treat. Really good episode with an outstanding ending.
I'm (legally) high and I wasn't ready to feel that level of excitement for another person it was so wholesome lmfao
The TRYers' reaction to plush Buc-ees are always worth watching.
I still remember how Grainne was over the moon thrilled when she got to hold the big Buc-ees plush.
They killed me! Like little kids. 😄
The sweetest for me was the redhead, how she was happy, then hesitant with the "do we get to keep these," to absolutely ecstatic 🥰
The look of relief on Justine's face when she realized it was not really eating beaver...
And the look of disappointment on ours when… never mind.
That’s on her only fans page.
OMG…CallyAnn’s reaction when she got the keychain. I cackled.
I knew as soon as Callyanne got the stuffed Buc-ee keyring her voice was going to reach the stratosphere (I hope the dogs enjoyed it)
You could really appreciate Callyann's genuine "All of the toil, the bad experiences, and the gross things I've had to endure for all these years are now WORTH it b/c I have a Buc-ee's plushie key ring!" moment -- I wanted to scream to them all "YOU DESERVE IT KIDS!" 😆
Buc-ee's is great! The thing about all of these "try American things" videos is that it's totally cool for people to like some of it and hate some of it. The point of having all of the variety that we do is that there is something for everyone.
over hyped crap
@@frederickvondinkerberg7721 it's gas station food. Some of it is better than it should be for gas station food, some is just what it says it is.
If you think you are going to buccee's and getting Michelin stared food....that is a malfunction on your part.
@frederickvondinkerberg7721 how is it over hyped? I know I'd eat their jerkey before eating Exon mobile brand jerkey
That is the thing about most American foods. And I am pretty sure other countries do this as well with their foods.
We have like a dozen different versions or flavors so that we can try to find something for the person to like.
@@jswjr6001 wow you're jumping to pathetic conclusions then, never mentioned Michelin starred food... just stated it is over hyped crap... which means it is still crap like other gas station crap... but you're hard of thinking so i'll have to let you go eat crayons
Thanks Calleyann, when you got the Bucky's plushy, every dog within a block of my house went into defense mode from the excited ultrasonic sounds you let out! Love all the content from Try!! Peace from Nebraska.😂
ahahaha.
This is why I get a little worried when Callyann and Pagan get paired together. If they both squee simultaneously every glass in my house may shatter….
😂😂😂 you killed me with this!! 😂😂😂
About that Bohemian Garlic flavor: a lot of central Texas was settled by Germans and Czechs in the 19th century, so German and Czech culture and foodways are important influences here. And a lot of rural Czechs refer to themselves as Bohemians.
That’s how kolaches came to Texas!
Guessing the influx was during the Napoleonic period which would have affected much of Europe especially Prussia, Austria-Hungary, and Russia. Czechia (not a place at that time)/Bohemia sits in the middle of these allied nations and was always affected by troop movements by and against France. With this constant activity in the beginning of the 19th century, I'd want to move too if I could.
Bohemia was a duchy of Great Moravia (SE Czechia surrounding Brno), later an independent principality, a kingdom in the Holy Roman Empire, and subsequently a part of the Habsburg monarchy and the Austrian Empire. After World War I and the establishment of an independent Czechoslovak state, the whole of Bohemia became a part of Czechoslovakia, defying claims of the German-speaking inhabitants that regions with German-speaking majority should be included in the Republic of German-Austria.
Finding it on a map: Bohemia was bordered in the south by Upper and Lower Austria (both in Austria), in the west by Bavaria (in Germany), and in the north by Saxony and Lusatia (in Germany and Poland, respectively), in the northeast by Silesia (in Poland), and in the east by Moravia (also part of Czechia).
@@JDoelker It was after the Napoleonic era. I Studied Tx history in college, the first German settlers in Spanish Texas were in the 1820s around the same time as Stephen F Austin but the the major influx of Germans and Czechs into Texas wasn't until the 1830s and 40s.
@@williamjohnson4417 Thanks, wasn't sure of when they would have arrived. Just knew that at the beginning of the 19th century were the Napoleonic Wars which impacted Eastern Europe and Bohemia due to the Triple -ia Alliance. This subsided in 1815.
That's next thing to send TRY kolaches from Weikel's Bakery in La Grange
@@afcgeo882
Texan here.... They make their jerky fresh too at a deli counter type deal. You can get a myriad of flavors beyond these that you can order by the pound in turkey and beef (maybe pork and venison too, but I've only ever gotten beef/turkey). Theres also a counter that you can order food at, including barbecue. Their brisket sandwiches hit the spot. And yes, with regards to their bathrooms, they have full time employees that only work the bathrooms and are well known for keeping them immacutely clean. I'd feel safe doing a line of coke off of a bucee's toilet seat lol. The sheer volume of fuel pumps they have isnt a joke either... Some have an entire side of the building thats meant to be a truck stop and they have a ton of diesel pumps there too. Its common for there to be close to or more than 100 pumps. They're like a much bigger version of Love's truck stops that have a cult of personality surrounding them.
You're thinking of a different place I think. Buc-ees doesn't allow big trucks in the lot so it's not like a truck stop at all.
@@brians48now We were referencing the fact that they have lots of gas pumps. Love's, Flying J, and Pilot have a lot of gas pumps but not as many as Bucc-ee's and they have followings as well. The choke and pukes, aka truck stops, have in addition to a diner, nice hot private showers which add to their appeal.
@brians48now yes it does, it has a whole section for just the big trucks
@@brians48now thats wrong. The most recent one I was at had an entire side that was available to regular drivers, but the distance between pumps and them being diesel pumps lended themselves to being basically a truck stop. Usually if some guy in a dualy was there it was because the vast majority of the pumps were full or he was just lazy
But did they have semi trucks there? Maybe some of them do allow it. I'm just going by the videos I've seen and what is listed on the Web.@@corywitkowski3775
OMG I can't believe Pagan and Callyann are now converted to the American saying of gas station! They will never say petrol ever again! And there reactions at the end was Soo wholesome I almost cried. Gramme has now convinced me that he and a marine would be best friends, they both are crayon eaters
A liquid that is gas, thats so wrong. Bet your water doesnt freeze at 0° either 😋
@@thatdudeinorange5269you know that it’s short for gasoline right?
Semper Crayola.
The pure excitement on everyone's face about the plushy was so adorable!💜🖤💜
Hi from Canada! 🇨🇦 👋🏼 Went to Cocoa Beach, Florida on vacation a couple months ago and we decided to go check to the nearest Buc-ees at Daytona Beach. What a weird and wild experience! It took us forever to find parking in the massive lot. Funny, but we didn’t buy any gas but ended spending a couple hundred bucks on their specialty food and novelty items. 😂
Omgg CALLYANN AND PAGAN AS A PAIR😍😍😂😂 SUCH A DELIGHT
Grabbed a couple pieces of Bohemian Garlic Bucee's jerky as I walked through my kitchen to my office, sat down and saw that today's video is them eating Bucee's jerky. They are the best pit stop on a road trip, by far.
I loved the.. "DO WE GET TO KEEP THESE?!"
Cally and Pagan together...joyful overload.
Callyann and Pagan together was just magical ❤🎉 They’re so delightful.
ALWAYS lovely to see Justine Halpin 🙂 just the greatest ❤️
My eyes are happy :)
Callyann and Pagan both look absolutely beautiful in this video and glad they enjoy the Buc- ee's Beff jerky.😊❤x2.
I lost my life at the end! So much fun with Pagan
Your face was priceless!
Glad that this time you TRYers got to keep a Buc-ee plushie, this time
The best Try ending so far! 🎉❤
You were so excited when you first got that keychain that your mouth was moving but no sounds came out. My dog picked her head up and was doing the head tilt like what is she saying. It was so adorable because she genuinely looked worried. I live on the outskirts of the capital of Texas, Austin. They’re building the biggest ever Buc-ees just south of here and I think I read somewhere that the store, just the building not including any of the gas pumps or anything else, is around 100,000 square feet. If I remember correctly, and I probably don’t so do not quote me but the building is supposed to be roughly about the same size as a Super Walmart. That’s complete insanity. When we say everything is bigger in Texas I’m pretty sure that it was supposed to just be a saying. But we here in Texas we think of it more like a challenge. 🤩
@callyannbrennan9624
If you ever get the chance to come over to the US and happen to find a Buc-ee's near where you're visiting, you should check out the jerky that they make fresh.
It's a lot easier chew than the pre-packaged jerky, and the flavors that you'd tried during this video is only a small example of how many varieties of jerky they offer
I last stopped off at a Buc-ee's on Independence Day 2021. They were doing a massive business. It must be a family tradition for some. They also have a fabulous selection of candy, coffee, and Buc-ee's merchandise. They make their own fudge. I think this particular one has 120 gas pumps.
I went to Texas for a friends wedding in October. In that time I went to Buccees once and was overwhelmed by home much stuff was there. Also had the best gas station sandwich and jerky there.
Also beaver nuggets are amazing
I'd love to see the TRYer's astonished reactions to visiting an actual Buc-ees! It's such a brash overblown jumbo plus-sized blinking roadside temple of American consumer culture: car-entered, massively large, deliciously unhealthy food and beverages at every turn and all of it marketed like an amusement park. It's like a Disney/Walmart State Fair cruise ship fuel center with Dubai ambitions. Not for the faint of heart. Thanks for the fun everyone!
And with the cleanest and most well-maintained restrooms of any highway rest stop you'll ever find. Which is one big reason travelers seek them out.
Loved the pairings today Callyann and Pagan are great together as were Justine and Nicole The excitement when they got the keyring was hilarious
Singing "Bohemian Rhapsody", 😀
Perfect!
Justine Halpin's reaction when she was given her Bucky was adorable! She was paired with Nicole, and those two ladies were a lot of fun hearing their reactions to the various jerky's. Graeme is absolutely accurate when it comes to the amount of snacks made in the U.S. to accompany beer. Whenever I go to my local liquor store, I always stroll past the snack counter to see the latest yummy chews to have with my Guiness (I don't drink U.S. beer, it's all piss water). I live in the vicinity of the Pennsylvania Amish people and they create so many good beef jerky and pork jerky items.
Are you a Lancaster County person? If so, try a Lancaster County Brewing Milk Stout (or Double Chocolate). Available in Jan. is Imperial Jo, also a Milk Stout which is on tap. Looks like you can go to any of their locations and get a growler filled of what you like from whatever they have on tap, or you can find many selections bottled in stores throughout PA, NY, DE, NJ, MD, VA, and DC. Thursdays look like a good day as it's $9 wings and $2 off growler refills.
As far as jerky have you tried Uncle Mike's or Lancaster County Farms? If so, are either iyo good?
American beer is piss water? I have never drank piss water, so I'll have to take your word for it.
@@Soxruleyanksdrool Lager does resemble that color liquid, ya know. But agree with your retort as I've never tried that either. There are better mouthwashes now. No need to live in the Roman era.
That’s truly what we do Callyann. We stop off at Buc-ees before a long drive, blast music with a Redbull and some jerky. Makes for a great roadtrip.
You could land a small aircraft at most Buc-ee's, as they have 80-120 pumps, plus the cleanest restrooms you will ever step foot in.
The most outstanding thing is they pay actual livable wages, not just for a gas station either just in general
You can make six figures as the car wash manager.....the car wash manager!!!
Buc-ees's is amazing
Getting one in my state at last 🙄
I love our Buc-ee's! We have one outside Daytona and St. Augustine. Went to one for the first time 2 years ago. Mind Blown! We're supposed to be getting another one in Ocala. Fort Pierce has already had plans submitted for consideration. Hopefully, they will continue to pop up.🙏
I’m from Texas and go to bucees when I get the chance, the only beef jerky I really wish they got to try was the Cherrywood Smoked one, it’s beyond a shadow of a doubt my favorite
I was sitting here hoping they would have that one.
I love how Justine was like ah nah with the face of disgust and yet put more in her mouth such a trooper
The guys fighting their Buccees and saying "get off my lawn" was dead accurate American...😂
Just missing the gunfire...
and now their jaws are Amercanized from chewing the jerky!!!
Doesn’t Dermot love beef jerky? He might be upset that he isn’t in this one. 😂
I live in South Alabama and I love the fact that they tried these.
Justine reminds me of a young Pricilla Presley, Graeme of a young Gerard Butler, Dermot of a younger John Cusack and Nicole of Taylor Swift. Nothing do to with Bucees, just thought I'd mention in.
He is a bit like butler
This is SPARTAAAA!
@@graemesingleton9691 hahaha, I love how you went with Sparta and not the obvious choice...
Those were actually very good Texan accents...this born and raised Texan, officially adopts you two as favorite daughters of Texas.
I am sorry this comment has nothing to do with the video, but Pagan I LOVE your hair color 😊
She's one of those people that can do any color. The blue was incredible
Thank you ❤
The joy on all the TRY-ers' faces, when they got the toy at the end was adorable. Really enjoyed.
We actually went to a HUGE Buc-ees in Tennessee while on vacation late last year, this place is no joke. When I say huge, I mean it has the largest gas station islands in the world, with 120 gas pumps taking up 74,000 square feet. It has one of the best, stylish, cleanest public bathrooms anywhere. Fresh smoked beef brisket it regularly cut on a big table right in the middle of the store every 15 minutes. An entire section dedicated just to beef jerky, all fresh made. I wish I could send you guys some of the pit beef or smoked pulled pork sandwiches they make. Definitely a destination if you are travelling through.
Callyann & Pagan about to cry at the plushie just made my day.
My son has my plushie on his school bag. Brings it with him everytime. Bucees fo life!!!
YAASSSS As a Texan I'm so happy y'all had Buc-ees jerky!!! 🎉💜😁
Lovely seeing this group try food! Please continue with these!
That's TRY everyone can get behind. Closest Bucc-ee's is now Daytona Beach from WDW area. Soon there is supposed to be one closer. Last week, Diane Jennings (y'all may know her) she tried Slim Jims and because of unfamiliarity thought she was trying beef jerky. Many people told her to send off for beef jerky from Bucc-ee's. Unfortunately, she now resides in the southeast of Spain or she could have been given an invite and enjoy some real American beef jerky.
Sending a Buck-ee's key ring was class cudo's! Of course the ladies "soooo cute", the guys "let's make em fight" LOL
This one was great. We are getting a buc-ees here in Michigan this year. I can’t wait.
Their chicken sandwich in Alabama while just starting our cross country road trip was epic. 🥰🙋🏽♀️
I was so glad to see the guy in the Chevy shirt and a Queen fan.
Love Nicole's Texas accent! Cheers All.
Pagan and Callyann, what a beautiful combination! Both in wit and looks!😍
The guys over at Jolly did a Buc-ee's food sampling. A big one. About 8 months ago. Endless stuff to try there. Not a jerky fan but this was a fun video. :)
LONG before there were Buc-ee's stores (in the 1960s-70s), and in a different part of the US (central Florida), we had a nickname for our sneakers (athletic shoes). We called them "Bucky Beaver Ground Grippers." To this day, I can't see anything about Buc-ee's without thinking of that.
Buc-ee’s is awesome!
Spotted the Texan haha
Nah man, I’m from New York. I have family in Texas though, I went to Buc-ee’s and it blew my mind! It’s like a supermarket and a gas station combined
I wish we had Buc-ees in Canada 😣🍁
Their reaction to the key chains was so sweet! Great episode
Im watching this wearing a full body buccees onesie that my husband picked up during a cross country road trip a week ago.
PERFECT TIMING
Being from Texas, BUC-EES is my favorite stop when I’m in central Texas or the Houston area. They have some really good jerky, but their chopped brisket sandwiches are the best anywhere. I always get more than one so I can take some back home for later.
You guys are always such a joy to watch! ❤ all the videos! The reactions to receiving the keychains were priceless especially Pagan, do we get to keep these?! Keep up the good work!😊
Buc-ees has about a million name brand things. Jerky is a good one, plus the Beaver nuggets and the banana pudding! If y'all ever get to Texas you gotta check one out. It's a gas station the size of 2 WalMarts.
I love jerky! Grew up making marinates and smoking our own with my dad. My best batch ever was for my dad’s celebration of life party,we made it together a week before he passed away.
A bowl of jerky and a bowl of boiled peanuts we’re on every table.
Guys, when you eat jerky you chew on it then put it in your jaw for a minute to soften it up 😂😂😂
LOL their faces when they got they lil keychains! Too cute. Someday when my ship finally comes in i'll send you all a box.....but wait...i live in a desert! Where's the ship going to sail in from?!!! LMAO ;-)
We have a Buc-ees 15 minutes down the road and the Bohemian Garlic is definitely my go to. It’s so good!
I was in TX for the first time in decades. I made it a point to hit up Buc-ees in Temple. Absolutely amazing.
Hi from Texas! I just drove cross country in my pickup truck, eating beef jerky, sharing it with my dog in the back seat. It felt pretty darn American.
I am so happy we have recently gotten a Buc-ees neat me! It's too bad you can't taste the freshly mad BBQ! It's the best!
I want them to visit a Buc-ees if they ever do another US trip!
@@luau5974 yes! This is mandatory!
I moved out of texas about 2 years ago, and losing access to Buccees is one of the things i truly miss. I saw the title and got hyped.
Yes, Americans absolutely do love snacks that go with beer. Trust me I know 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I absolutely love this channel
I love how even if they don't like something they're still fun about it like they're still cool about it like it's so good
Buccee's sells the jerky in bulk behind glass counter like a butcher, they are more fresh than the bagged ones which can be older and drier
This was great and I really love the Irish imitations of Americans. Makes me laugh so hard. 😂😂
Oddly enough, I first heard about Buccee's on the Try Channel, despite living only about an hour from the Texas state line.
Hello From Toronto Canada Glad 2 See Justine n Nicole n Pagan n Callyann
If the only thing left on TH-cam was the Try Girls eating beef jerky, I could die a happy man!!! So funny and thanks again for the content!!!
As a reminder, the lone star is a review score.
The "Life is a highway" song is Canadian, by Tom Cochrane. :p
Loved the video ! I'd love to see the Tryers make their own jerky !
Great Combos for this shoot. dare I say, almost perfect match-ups.
After years of watching these vids (from the old channel to this one), I lost it at the fight scene 😂. Literally watched it 5 times now.
Callyann and Pagan together is like a supernova of positive vibes
The Jerky Gods have smiled upon you. I love stopping by one and getting a selection. They have a jerky bar. Not a bar, but like a bar where you can get whatever amount of whatever kinds you want.
I’ve started adding -doodles to the end of random words. Thank you, Callyann.
So cute with the plushies. The guys go directly to a fight game.
As a Houstonian this brings me joy.
If you ever are lucky enough to visit a buccees, you have to try their brisket sandwich. My hubs will make a special trip just to eat one.
Jerky is absolutely my road trip food! Great video, love you guys!
Since I've seen you all get a bit confused by the little packets in the jerky, I thought I'd offer an explanation, just in case someone hasn't; they're called "dessicant" packs. They absorb extra moisture in the bag to keep the product from molding if it sits for too long. 😁 Love the channel... lifelong fan...!
LOL Just drove my wife 4 hours to visit Buc-cees. Was on her list of things to do. She got jerky, two bbq sandwiches, nuggets, beaver tail, and an xmas ornament.
I love seeing everyone's reactions! You all seem like the kind of people that would be great to party with! Come to Las Vegas, I'll buy the first round! 😊
We are getting our first
Buc-ee's opening in a couple months. Pilgrmages are being planned. 😁
That is the tiny-tiniest fraction of the amount and types of jerky that BUC-ee's carries - there's an entire deli with just jerky, and a wall of it pre-packaged! The BUC-ee's experience really defies description... you just have to go 🙂👍
it doesn't defy description at all... it's a large gas station with 1/2 filled with useless crap no sane person would buy, average food and BBQ and idiots milling around talking about the bathrooms... there is NOTHING special about Buc-ee's...
yep, I couldn't believe the jerky section, good description- picture walking up the meat counter at a deli with 40 flavors of beef jerky.
i drive an hour to my closest Buc-Ees every other week to stock up on snacky snacks of all sorts...its a whole experience that is the highlight of my week.
Hey yall from florida here. Im a trucker (lorrie) driver. Always passing through texas. The brisket sandwich mmmmm so good.
Was trucking along the other day and snacking on jerky. It felt right
The ending is priceless. Love Beef Jerky. Pepper Jerky and Teriyaki I would say is my favorite flavors.
I have never seen anyone get so excited over a buc-ees plushie! 😂
FWIW of the like 40+ varieties of jerky on offer at Buc-ee's, the Korean BBQ is the best I've had so far. However, that's probably also why there's 40+ varieties of jerky on offer, keeps ya coming back. :)
Best episode from an East Texan!! Love this and yall!
“I don’t think Buccee knows the *meaning* of spice!”
(Pause)
“Well, he *is* a beaver….”
😂
I visited one for the first time last year in southern Georgia. As I was driving up to it I was reminded of that classic Star Wars line, "That's no moon, it's a Buc-ee's". I haven't been to another one since then and there's one now about 20 miles away from where I live.
